Hello DFD!

It’s need a while since I keep asking about design updates and there is no straight answer. I never understood what “soon” means and I need to make some purchases for a new client project.

Current design options that Native offers, although there are plenty, do not stand out and do not follow the 2018 web design trends. They all seem outdated, laggy, bulky and also it takes forever to load.

When I bought the first license for Native you guys were releasing new updates and designs each month. So I bought it again and also recommended to all of my friends (in total over 10+ licenses bought). Currently all of us are unhappy with the designs offered.

Don’t get me wrong, Native is awesome (for it’s price). It’s a well coded product with a lot of features and a ton of designs, but instead of a “ton” on designs I would prefer just a few but well polished ones. With optimized elements and ingenious way to display different content.

So, without any other explanations, I need to know if there is a planned update that will introduce new design demos and if there is, please be specific upon the release date. I don’t want the exact date, but at least “this week / next week / this month / next month” so I’ll know if I’ll buy another Native license today or another theme that will better meet my and my client’s needs.

PS: I still like Native but due to the things mentioned above, I find it uncompetitive right now with the other product under wordpress > popular items.

Dear dev, I’m contacting you because i’m having a trouble using DFD Native Theme with self hosted video player.

Youtube and vimeo seems to work fine but self hosted player has a 1180px height and i can’t change it… How can i set auto height to the player to avoid “black boxes” around the video?

Hi there, I need to update my WPBakery Visual Composer plugin from v5.1 to the latest v5.4.7 and when I click update I get an error message: Update Failed: License is not activated. Can you please tell me how I can activate the license? I suspect it is to do with when I migrated the site from one server to another (demo to launch) this error has occurred. Thank you!

For the Google Maps module in Visual Composer, when I drag the map the pin for my locations disappear. Is there any way to fix it?

I just purchased this events plugin – Modern Events Calendar.

This plug-in doesn’t seem to be working properly in this theme for some reason, as did Community Events not work either.

I now have Modern Events Calendar installed and the issue is ion the menu bar. The event pages are bleeding over the top of the menu. Is there a setting or code that will allow the two to work together properly?
