Hi, really nice template, I would like to have a top row (above masthead) with 2 videos side by side, fullwidth (start when mouse on etc…). With Revolution slider, I can’t get what I want, videos are not really centered, and not fullwidth. Is there a way to did this ? Your demo doesn’t use revolution slider, so is there a way I can add a row fullwidth above masthead, and 2 cols inside to get what I want ? Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words…glad to know you’re enjoying your time with X! I do know you can definitely do two marginless columns but getting the videos to play on hover would involve some custom code (unless there was an autoplay feature from the host of your video on mouse hover).

ok, for now I’m testing it on local with Wamp. Hover start /stop … is ok. Marginless is ok with revolution slider ? because I want to put this 2 videos above masthead… As soon as I try on a server, I’ll ask for your help, for sure. Thanks

X (as with all ThemeForest themes) is sold under the ThemeForest Regular license. You can use it for a single site. If you’re planning to build multiple sites you would need a license for each one.
I bought this theme last year for a client and the site was never launched. They used another theme and I did not work on their site. Now, I have a license to use this theme once and its not used anywhere. But I initially put the old clients web address in the theme setup somewhere. How do I use it somewhere else now? (since that client never used my work or this theme)
If the license is not in use anywhere, you’re welcome to use it to start a new project. If you need to validate your site and it’s telling you the license is already in use you can change the site URL from your Themeco account. If you don’t have access to that account, send us an email and we can help you further. You can use the contact form on our profile page.

I just installed your theme, registered my purchase code as requested, got taken out of my dashboard to some other site to register purchase code again, then got up-sold on yet another version of your theme when I was lead to believe I was getting X theme at its best. Then presented with yet another zip to download another update of your theme. And after all of this I go back to my dashboard and it says my license is STILL not validated. Are you serious??

Yes obviously its a separate product. So that being said, if its a separate product then why aren’t you making me aware of it on the template page? Maybe I might have bought that version instead. Waiting until after I’ve already spent money on X, to then pitch me a premium version for more money seems disingenuous. Also you didn’t address the entirety of my message. Why isn’t my theme still not validated after i did what your template said to do?
Because we sell X exclusively here and out of respect to Envato’s guidelines we do not promote other products or services (their rules). It’s also not a premium version of X – it’s a completely separate product.

Ok I understand now. Thanks for explaining. So is PRO a page-builder plugin, or is it X with PRO built in?
The problem with the validation was that it didn’t execute after it refreshed to the Apex registration page. I had to re-input the code. Its validated now.
Pre-purchase question: I intend to setup a multisite with subdomains… What license do i need to purchase ?

You will need to purchase 1 license per installation you are using X on. So for each site inside the multi installation there is one license needed.
I think i need some more help here. Example. domain is writers.com…... and now we will have USA.writers.com, Uk.writers.com which will be just subdomains under writers.com…... wouldn’t this count as 1 installation… ?
As these would be two separate sites with their own content, we would advise purchasing to licenses to be compliant with the ThemeForest Regular license.

Our policy related to 3rd party plugins is that unless they are integrated into the theme in some way (Revolution Slider, Gravity Forms, etc) then we are unable to provide support or guarantee compatibility for them. The implementation, customization, and troubleshooting of any issues that may arise would be the responsibility of each customer. Technically speaking, since X was developed according to development best practices, any well developed 3rd party plugin should play nicely with X, however due to the virtually limitless nature of things that can and often times do go wrong with software, we can’t support something that we have not first developed or integrated into the theme.

Thanks for writing in. 1. X is fully localized so it can be translated into any language. We don’t at this time include any finished translations. 2. Included with X are all the demos you see here: https://theme.co/x/demos/ If you import an Expanded demo all the images are included. Standard demos will include the Theme Options configuration and placeholder content. 3. I’m not sure exactly what you mean by this. If you’re asking about the licensing, X (like all ThemeForest themes) can be used once per license purchased.

Pre-sell question - hi - i love the look of the theme. I am doing a school site and would love to use the education demo you have here. Is it possible to move the navigation on that demo to a top header instead of a sidebar? Please let me know as I would love to purchase this today.

Yes, you could easily change this in Theme Options. You can have the navigation as a fixed sidebar, or at the top. “Fixed Top” can also be enabled which lets the header stay at the top of the screen as you scroll.

We provide all our automatic updates via the X validation. This means you only need to validate X in order to receive updates for all our extensions including layerslider. There is no need to validate them one by one. Hope that helps!
Hey, I did activate the theme but non is working and every extension is asking to make a purchase to activate the extension’s premium account, does it mean that theme X is providing a free demo plugins but still have to make a purchase for the full use of the extension? I also see some videos online with selections in the X section of wordpress that I don’t see in mine, I need help.
Some of the 3rd party Extensions will include a message offering you to purchase a license directly from the developer of the plugin. This is optional and not required as we provide all updates directly to our customers and support for any Extension. Hello, I updated the theme.. then updated the plugins.
Everything seemed fine, but when I went back to the WP Updates I get

Hmm… I removed the whole folder, installed from the theme package, update and now it works.

please update the grid extension its been a while since they updated the plugin for instagrams new api
Our automatic update system is serving the latest version of The Grid. Is your site validated? If you’re not seeing an update notification you could also try deleting the plugin and reinstalling it.
Hi, does this theme/toolkit come with a header builder? I mean, every theme has some pre-built headers, but a true header builder seems to be a rarity and I’m personally looking for an option like this!

just bought the theme a few minutes ago guys. NOT HAPPY being forced to register in your system in order to start working with the theme i paid. please next time advise that. it is the first time it happens to me with a wordpress theme. i just hope registration is worth in a future.
Registration is not required. You can use the theme without it. You do need an account to to enable automatic updates however.
