Under the new Gutenberg editor I’m having issues with the media library showing “No items found” when trying to attach an image to a new post. My media library is loaded with hundreds of images. As of now my workaround is to install the Classic Editor plug-in which restore full media library functionality. I still have not found a fix. I do not provide ftp or login access by third parties to my site so if you can leave any tips here that is appreciated.

Thanks for your quick reply and assistance. I solved my issue. There is a special Woocommerce customize section accessible from the admin page. The rest of the customization on the Titan demo page can be achieved using bespoke CSS and also modding the themes functions.php file.

Hi there. I’ve updated the theme version and then updated from PHP 5.6 to 7.1. I no longer receive the error, but now I’ve lost the opacity above the static background image on all pages, such as http://katherinejosten.com/about/introduction/. Is there a quick way to add that back to all the pages, or must I now apply that directly to the image (and then re-upload the image)? That would be a bummer, so if there’s a fix to solve this across the board, that would be great, thanks.

Are you going to release an update soon to ensure compatibility with PHP 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3? This is extremely important as PHP 5.6 will be phased out very soon, and the Titan theme will become unusable when that happens.

Ok great! I was about to update to PHP 7.3, but I noticed a number of users reporting issues with Titan after updating their PHP (TooGoooD, pha_roah, and luftmasche) so I am extremely nervous to do so. You can confirm that it works with PHP 7.3 without issue? You had mentioned to TooGoooD 2 months ago that you were releasing an update soon for that.
Also, as gdiggs mentioned, will you also be releasing any updates for the media library, or more importantly an update or clean replacement for the full-screen slider? We’ve been using the full-screen slider as the home page to show off the best images when the user first arrives on the site, but we’ve noticed that it now has an extremely sluggish load (it used to load extremely fast, but not for a very long time) which tests seem to suggest is due to the outdated software used for the slider.

Just a follow-up: We tried upgrading our PHP and also experienced issues like the other users mentioned. The site completely crashed and we had to revert back to the lower PHP for it to run with the theme still active.
The host provided me with the error log, which shows what part of the theme caused the fatal error. I’m sending it to you right now in a direct Envato message, please let me know if you got it.

Hello is it possible to upgrade the Media library from Shiba to a more modern media library? Shiba is not compatible with the Gutenberg editor and I have to install the Wordpress classic editor plugin to get it to work. With Gutenberg the media library shows as empty when trying to add new images to posts. Also can I completely remove the outdated Supersized slider code and replace it with another free modern fullscreen slider? A clean replacement with no left over hooks or code without breaking the theme?

Hi, I just noticed that with version 2.7, if I change my server PHP to 7.1 or 7.2, the featured image on the page does not darken, and thus making the text unreadable, when I keep it at PHP5.6, the background featured image does darken and text is readable. My ISP will be removing PHP5.6 in the next few days which will render most of my pages unreadable. Your comment would be appreciated.
