I have purchased your theme previously. I am looking to purchase a few more. My issue/ problem is I do not want to purchase your theme if the demo template hasn’t been updated to the new TAGDIV COMPOSER. I’m use to working this way and have absolutely NO DESIRE to convert the demo template myself. Has this been update yet and if not when will it (if ever) expected to be updated. I appreciate your quick response in this matter.

I’m not sure what you mean by converting demos to the tagdiv composer. Our theme demos were adapted to use the new page builder the day it was launched. Our demos always worked with the tagdiv composer. Please provide more details to what you are referring to. You do not have to adapt anything in order for the theme or demos to work properly with the tagdiv composer. It was never a requirement.

Hi guys! Straight to the point: I am currently using a free newspaper theme that i’ve downloaded somewhere; i did this in order to see if the theme suits for me, and it’s awesome. At this moment i want to buy it in order to be able to upgrade it, recieve support and of course support you. After buying it i know that i will be granted an activation code, do i just have to put the code in the tab “activate theme” in order to activate it or do i have to re-upload all the files? I dont want to loose my current entries so that’s why i’m asking Thanks! Luq

Please notice that 504 errors is just a server error which happens due to a lot of problems. This seems like a caching issue. Please clear your cache as it is feeding the old css through. Clear the cache from the plugin, host and purge cdn files. If the issues are still there, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and ivestigate.

Hi,
The theme provides blocks/grids and other elements that can display posts. Blocks for example have the option to set titles for them, the posts displayed by them can be filtered with the available options.
You can see most of the theme elements in the live demo (check the Features menu)

You can see how all the blocks/grids look there, also some of the other theme features. So there will be no problem to display blocks of posts in pages, each with their own heading.
The category tags that you mention can be enabled/disabled for all the modules.

hi, we have some article don’t have any pictures. with a defult placehold picture, the home page become very ugly, so is there any possible to show article only with image as first. I don’t see this opiton at filter or order at theme panel.

There is no such filter unfortunately, so there would be no way to filter a block based on the fact that is has or does not have a featured image set. All the posts should have featured images/videos if possible.
So you could set featured images for the posts, so the theme will create thumbnails from them

Hi tagDiv,
I am using Big Grid Full 9 and Block 14 for my Homepage. A problem for each:
Big Grid Full 9 – my images appear much darker than the originals after I’ve added them to the grid. Is there some colour overlay which makes them appear darker? How would I get rid of this?
Block 14 – I believe it’s the same problem as above. The post images do not fill the full area given for them so the viewer can see the white to black gradient where the photo hasn’t filled the space. A) how do I fix the image size here? 
how do I get rid of this dark gradient on top of the images?

The big grid on your website should look exactly as it does in the theme live demo

There are 7 styles to choose from for the grid, each different than the other. I believe you are referring to style 1 which ads a darker overlay over the images. You could try another style. If you want to remove that overlay from style 1, that could only be done with a CSS code. Please create a new topic in the forum and provide a link to your website where the grid is present and we will try to give you a solution

It is the same for block 14, however blocks do not have styles to choose from like grids. There is a single design for them. We will try to give you a solution for that as well if needed.
If there is a thumbnail problem, such as thumbnails not being created properly, please try to regenerate the thumbnails

The theme itself does not have a dual language option. It has only translation settings for the theme strings. However you can try some free translation plugins, the theme is also compatible with WPML. Most of these plugins will provide a language switcher in some form, so users can easily switch the language.

Hi, i want update newspaper from 8.7.2 to 8.7.4 on my wordpress. Im not using FTP. found a video posted on how to delete the one theme and reinstall a new theme. will all theme panel settings will be lost ? how about custom css codes ?
Hello,
The theme panel settings are safe as they will not get changed when updating. The custom css as well if it’s added through the theme panel-> custom code section. Only if you alter the theme files will your customization be lost after an update. If this is not the case, then your settings should be safe. It is always recommended to make a full back-up before any update just in case something goes wrong. Just as a precautionary measure.

my theme activation key is not working, I am not asking for technical support. Please help me activate the theme I purchased. I paid full price and I cant handle the pop ups any more reminding me to activate the theme. I get this error: “Envato API is down, please try again later or use the manual registration.”

By using TagDiv Composer, I can not edit the Instagram widget or the Latest Articles and Popular Articles blocks.

The Instagram widget (I assume the one in the footer) is controlled from the footer section of the theme panel. The latest articles section is controlled by the page template: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ and the popular articles from the footer is a pre-defined element from the footer template that cannot be changed: https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ None of the options mentioned can be controlled by the tagdiv composer.
