the only way to have a mobile transparent header is to enable the option “Header Permanent Transparent” in the Salient options panel > header navigation > transparency tab – do you have that active?

Salient is compatible with both, however 3.4 displays a warning that there is outdated template overrides coming from Salient (it shouldn’t effect the shop though). If you don’t want to see the warning yet, but stick with 3.3.5

Try either setting the Passepartout to match the color of your header navigation or turn on the transparent header effect (Salient options panel > header navigation > transparency tab)

Thank you for your reply. So it works Passepartout works find with transparent header, however not with a solid background header.

It seems that the height of .container-wrap needs to be adjusted with CSS somehow? Any thoughts.

I would really like to use Passepartout with a solid header if I can.

The caption appears in both Chrome and Safari.

I’ve tried mulitple things even changing the order of the images to replacing the first portfolio and it happens to still happen but only within Firefox. Please investigate this matter for me.

1. You can achieve two columns with CSS, if you can share your URL I’d be glad to provide it for you

2. A square option is available when you’re using the masonry option, but i’ve noted the idea to add it in non masonry layouts as well

3. The project styling shown on the minimal portfolio demo is “Meta overlaid – bottom left aligned”, you can select it in the portfolio element in the page builder

I am finalizing it and will surely let you know once it will be completed because I really like the 2 column portfolio. In my humble opinion your theme is the best without any bugs I haven’t faced any issues thus far but kindly consider to add one more minimal portfolio layout with a contemporary sleek look(more white space) less modules background color. Purely minimal, elegant and soft. I will truly appreciate that.

One last question If I wish to have this kinda banner look what would be the solution:

I guess I have to make this shape and design in photoshop and place it as a background image within that module. Or is there any other way around? That issue is occurring because of the plugin you have active “everest-tab” as it’s adding global styles targeting all elements on the page rather than only within the plugin elements as it should.
