Yes, with the help of some custom CSS from our support team, we should be able to help you display both title and excerpt, if you like. But we’d have to shrink the font size a lot, in order for both elements to fit.

Hi There, I recently updated Wordpress to 5.2.2 and since then the WPBakery page builder is not working, could you please tell me what could be the reason. Also if you can help me with some documentation on how to update the theme?

You’ll need to update our theme and WPbakery to latest version. Here is part from our documentation about theme update https://cozy.edge-themes.com/documentation/#getting_started_updating_cozy After that, update our Core plugin to version 1.1 and then update Wpbakery page builder to version 6.0.2 You’ll see message about plugins update in your dashboard, just follow instructions from here.

There’s been no update on WPBakery since August last year. Is this something that can be addressed as soon as possible?

We’re currently in a process of updating all our themes. Our team is working hard to get all the themes up to date with the current versions of plugins and extensions. You can expect that Cozy theme will be updated in the next few days, and then we will include the latest version of WPBakery plugin.

We are constantly working on updating all our themes. At the moment we don’t have any ETA when this update will come out.

When it comes to 3rd party plugins, you have to understand that we didn’t and couldn’t test all plugins out there with our themes. The official plugins we provided bundled inside our theme are the ones that are tested several times before the theme was launched and we guarantee their functionality.

Hi guys, I bought this theme a few months ago. After the release of Wordpress 5 it started causing me problems. Now the layout of the website looks odd. I tried to go back with a backup, but it works just a few days and then again: upgrade and layout changes (it seems it doesn’t understand the image galleries and split it into single images). I tried to deactivate upgrading, but it doesn’t work at all, it upgrades to Wordpress 5 even if I said don’t.

I would like to know how to deactivate this upgrading and go back to the Wordpress 4.9 to keep the layout I built and avoid to face this issue each week.

Can you help me?

It’s important to note that all our themes are compatible with the latest WP version, so there’s nothing to worry about.

Since the release of WP 5, Gutenberg became default editor. To revert to WPBakery page builder, please install Classic Editor plugin from Plugins > Add new. You can read more about this here: https://wpklik.com/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-keep-wordpress-classic-editor/

I can not download and activate templates from WP Bakery or Resolution Slider. I have purchased the theme. How can I get this done.

When it comes to pre-made templates from WP Bakery & Rev Slider, this is limited for end-user with extended licence we provide for bundled plugins https://themeforest.net/licenses/terms/extended

So, basically, you can use premium plugin for free, but without additional features, like ready-made templates.

I have purchased this theme, however, I have the following challenges:

1. I can’t activate the theme, there is no place to insert the token. 2. I can not activate plugin (WP Bakery) 3. The header settings for transparent header, is not working even when the value is set from 0, 0.5 , it has no effect on the header. 4. When I try to use the support ticket on the https://edge.ticksy.com, Cozy does not show after I verified my purchase with my Envato token.

If you just purchased the theme, most likely the data isn’t ready yet, so please try again a bit later.

Also, make sure that you are logged in with the Envato account form which you have purchased the theme, and you can also try to clear browser cache and to login again.

There is also another way for submitting a ticket: logout, and then find a “Submit a ticket” button, it’s just underneath the search, and it will prompt you to enter a purchase code later in the process.
