Hi there, Any chance you’d consider adding native TypeKit support to the theme? I was using the snippet bellow to add fonts and while it works for one single font, it has stopped working for more than one. The moment I add it to the functions.php file it crashes the website. Do you mind elaborating on a fix or different implementation?

When I initially purchased this theme I was more than happy with the features, and the backend. Many of the great features are saved as theme-builder templates which makes using your fav aspects of the demo in your website.
About a month ago I began having issues using REV SLIDER (one of the most common wordpress plugins available). Support was helping initially, but once they needed to get a developer involved I couldn’t get a response. I’ve been waiting 3 weeks now and haven’t heard from them. I’ve followed up twice since, and still no response.
I understand that most people may not have such specific issues that require developers to get involved, but this author needs a better process/communication to help when things don’t work.

Had no problems before, but recently I am seeing an issue in chrome with the parallax full width background image not showing on desktop/tablet, but shows on small mobile? All works in other browsers such as safari. Any thoughts?

hi there, pulled Salient out of retirement for a small fun e-commerce site, but my cart page insists on displaying in two columns (which is affecting button layout etc. too): https://www.ceramicwasp.co.uk/cart/
Tried to compare it to the demo site ( http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ecommerce/cart/ ) and saw additional responsive class names that don’t seem to be in mine (though it’s the latest version I just downloaded and woocommerce is up to date. Wondered if there’s an easy fix? Shouldn’t be anything else interfering with the CSS… Thanks!

Can you check the woocommerce directory inside of your Salient theme folder to ensure that there is no “cart” directory? The cart directory was removed a few releases ago and if it lingered around in your setup post updating, it would indeed cause issues

I have already uploaded the video in all possible formats that are indicated in the configuration and the error persists when you try to access from Chrome. We have been doing some checks and the problem is not in the video. If you choose an image as background or if you simply delete the video and leave it empty, exactly the same thing happens.
In addition, it is not only the video, but all the content of the page. If you reload the page from Chrome you can see how everything is ok, but the first time you access the page is blocked and does not load almost any information, or the video or the text below in the rest of the page.
We do not know what to do to solve the problem. Could you check if it was the error that I indicated in the screenshot?

Is it possible to set all blog posts to pull the featured image to use for the header image background on the post?
We have hundreds of blog posts that we migrated over so it wouldn’t be feasible for us to go through each one and manually change the header image, so hoping that there is a global setting that can accomplish this.

This has been isolated to only occur with the Material theme skin when the “hide header until needed” animation effect is disabled. Ive noticed some header conflicts with your theme that urgently needs fixing:
1. On my homepage (call this page 1) I have a transparent header with a full screen nectar slider, this works perfectly.
However on another page (call this page 2) I also want a full screen nectar slider, but this time I dont want a transparent header so I selected ‘Disable Transparency From Navigation’.
When I viewed this page, the Nectar Slider image wasnt full screen anymore, instesd it had some white space on the bottom of the screen, under the nectar slider.
The arrow from the Nectar Slider was touching the white space, but on page 1 there was still some of the image showing under the arrow and fitted perfetly full screen.
2. To work around the above issue Ive tried to fix the issues by turning off ‘Use Transparent Header When Applicable?’ in the main Sallient headings.
This fixed ‘page 2’ so the Nectar Slider was now perfectly full screen with solid header and no weird white space at the bottom of the slider BUT ‘page 1’ now also has a solid header…
So I went ro remove the solid header on Page 1 by ging into the backend of the homepage to select ‘Force Transparency On Navigation’ but that option AND’Disable Transparency From Navigation’ and ‘Transparent Header Navigation Color’ had all disappeared!!!
Those options had vanished! (the options abbove that were still there). I realised the options vanish when you turn off ‘Use Transparent Header When Applicable’ from the main Salient options.
- Due to this I have no option making the header on my homepage transparent!
There is obviously some huge conflict going here and the menu options are NOT working properly.
WHAT I NEED YOUR HELP WITH (and I am sure many other people will agree):
a) Code to have an option to make certain pages on my site to ahve a SOLID HEADER instead of TRANSPARENT when we have ‘Use Transparent Header When Applicable?’ selected to ON.
b) How to fix the NECTAR SLIDER so it is properly full screen if I wanted a SOLID HEADER when the ‘Use Transparent Header When Applicable’ is switched on.
c) Im also happy to not have ‘Use Transparent Header When Applicable’ switched on, but will need code from you so there is a option for particaur pages to have a transparent header.

Hey alisonleon, that should only occur when using a legacy skin in combination with the “Header Resize On Scroll” effect (set from the theme options > header navigation > animation effects tab). For now, you could either change the skin to the latest one (material) from the theme options panel > general settings tab or I could provide you a copy of the current beta which also will fix this issue for the older skins. Could you kindly share your URL in regards so I can take a further look to assist?

My only small request, when I click on the down arrow using the Nectar Slider on both pages 1 and 2, the arrow doesnt scroll to the botton of the slider, it seems to stop halfway, shouldnt this scroll to the botton of the slider?

I am trying to hide the price and add to cart button on the shop and category pages for certain products. The code you linked me to works for hiding the price.

It is wider on mobile and we have added the custom CSS:

There might be something wrong with the CSS, as we’re still getting the white space – any ideas?

It looks like there are two empty columns sitting outside of page builder rows by themselves at the bottom in the markup: https://imgur.com/a/j8YApQy they need to be removed to clear that little bit of extra space you’re seeing – can you check in the classic mode editor at the bottom to see if you notice any stray columns?
