when using lightbox with theme “magnific”, together with a masonry image grid, it breaks the lay-out of the images in the lightbox. could you have a look at that? thanks a lot!

I’ve stumbled upon an extra issue; the same portfolio masonry grid under paintings does not listen to the specific measurements im setting per picture (tall, wide, ...). How can I resolve this?

Unfortunately that event doesn’t get bound on mobile screen sizes, so you would simply need to set your mobile logo height smaller via the theme options panel > header navigation tab to begin with
I know you’re working on a big update now, but could I make a request for a future update feature…
The “Custom CSS Code” box in the Theme Options… I’m putting more and more code in there each time I use your theme. It would be cool if this had it’s own tab so the box could be much taller/wider and not have scrollbars. It’s a bit clunky adding lots of lines of code in there with no word-wrapping and having to scroll side to side to read long lines.
A lot of this has to do with not being able to overwrite WooCommerce styles in the Child style.css and always having to use the Custom CSS box

I’m having an issue with how the blog posts are showing up. I imported the “Corporate” Demo, and my blog posts look like this (zoomed out to 50% so you can see the whole page at once) https://imgur.com/a/4UP6eI1
It looks as if it’s acting like there’s no content, because the social buttons, the next post navigation, and the comment section are all really high up on the page and the content is underneath it. I tried different settings in the Salient Theme menu, but I’ve had no luck. How can I fix this to be normal?
Actually, I kind of figured it out, the issue was that it was converting the text into a text box inside a column, inside a row, and the settings were “in container”. I changed it to Full width, and then adding padding to both left and right sides.
But, that’s seems like a very inelegant solution. Is there another, better way to do this? Why would the default look like what it originally did in the photo I linked? Also, now the social buttons on the bottom are unclickable. How can I fix that?
I’m sorry, disregard all of that. The issue was a stupid CSS setting I had for another thing that conflicted. I’m sorry for all that, I figured it out.

I noticed that menu has problem on Safari for Mac, the latest version (at least). When you scroll the menu disappears and it needs to refresh the page to appear again. Any solution ?

I’m afraid I still haven’t been able to reproduce on that setup to debug – is there any specific manner you have to scroll in order to it to hide? Does it occur for you every time you scroll or is it only certain instances?

Salient has its own padding system for columns, if you’re using to remove the gap between columns you’d need to make use of “Column Margin” option available as an option on the inner row element

Hey David,
The gradient button style in the Ascend theme skin uses that swift swipe hover effect and can’t have rounded edges – to fix that, simply switch to the “material” theme skin in the Salient options panel > general settings tab in order to take advantage of the latest gradient button styling

Hey princebhalani143, it will work but as of now if you have WP_DEBUG mode on you’ll see a warning for a Deprecated function call. That will be fixed shortly and as long as the debug mode is off, everything should function correctly.

For now it would require modding to the vc-gallery.php file inside nectar/nectar-vc-addons/vc_templates at the line “data-autorotate=”5500” – however i’ve noted your +1 for the idea to make this an option within the image gallery element

We’ve weened off of showing the share count in the various share locations once there was a trend from the social media services to stop allowing public access to the share count. The latest sharing option is a fixed button without the counts that follows you on scroll. e.g. http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-blog-ultimate/

Hey Egaffin, that’s occurring when the top navigation is running out of room for the menu items – if you enable the “Full Width Header” option in the Salient options panel > header navigation > layout related tab, it should fix it

I have pages using dark rows and light rows (affecting the text). As link colors are pulled from the accent color, this causes problems for me. My accent color is blue, similar to the demo, but some backgrounds are blue (with white text) and image backgrounds. Links on top of those gets lost… So, is it possible with some CSS to adjust the .light to be a different color links perhaps? Please advise. Thanks!

this issue was caused by the latest Chrome release (they changed policies for autoplaying videos) – we did however sort this in the current Salient version (8.5.6) http://themenectar.com/changelogs/salient.html It appears you’re on 8.5.5
