Which tab do you refers to? The JNews dashboard should be able to open even when not activated yet. Please also check the error log for further investigation.

Hi I’m experiencing some troubles on my WordPress site after applying Jnews Theme. I can see the pictures associated with a post only when I’m authenticated on the site. When browsing the site anonymously, I can see the text but not the pictures. could you help? I’ve already checked the configuration many times.

Hi jegtheme, thank you for your answer. yes I mean as WordPress Administrator. When I’m a WPAdmin I can see all the pictures, but not when I’m an Anonymous user. hi dntamack, it seems the problem is when minified the content. try to disable jnews speed, you will not find any issue when you disable this plugin.
also minified may failed when you add another plugin into your website. its common issue for minified version of javascript.

Hello, how do i get thumbnail images to display? The post images display OK but not the thumbnails. Also, how do i decide what posts are displayed in the main image section(JNews Hero2)? Thank again.
hi Alf030304, i don’t really get your question about thumbnail, can you tell us which thumbnail that not showing image? also you can try to install this plugin : https://id.wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ and click regenerate image. and see if your problem is solved.
you can use content filter post option. if you are using visual composer, you can edit your hero, and you will find those tab.

When I create a post the images from the post are not visible as thumbnail images on any other pages? They just remain greyed out. Do images need re-sizing to be visible on the home page?
do you have javascript error on your site? its also may cause the issue. you can take a look at javascript console.
or you can try to disable lazy load image to normal load image. go to customizer > Image & Gallery Option > Image Load & Generator Setting > Image Load Mechanism > Normal Image Load.

hi mtobjasz, for changing category color, you can install JNews – Customize Detail Category or JNews – Extended Category Option.
if you install JNews – Extended Category Option you can go to category. and you will have option to change your category banner color.

When using your theme, our site saw a lot of pages with low text to code ratio. For example, for a 500 word article, the text size is 5KB, but the page size is 70KB. Is there any way to improve this? as this affects SEO

also the code that you mention may include with meta tag (such as facebook, twitter meta), json ld and other element.
