Hello on the home page I want to show the original image, that is, I do not want to zoom, nor parallax. see main page of www.trabajoenlinea.pe

Hi

try to edit template-home.php in theme folder and remove class parallax from div id=”banner”

is there any way to have end-users (candidates) delete their user account? they are able to sign up, submit their CV, but can they remove their account on the dashboard?

Hi, I’m afraid there’s no option for that, but you could simply create some contact form that user could request account removal and you as an admin would remove it

not even through a plugin you may know of?

There are some plugins but they are for backend, nothing that would integrate with workscout dashboard pages

Hello, i just updated to 1.5. In this new update, the NEW icon doesn’t show on the front page. How do i get it to show like in the previous version?

You need to enable the ‘date’ element to show there, in new layout the “NEW” icon is displayed in place of date if it’s new job

Hi

please verify your purchase first

Can you please answer the following questions:

- Is it possible to hide the candidate / employee pages, and only make the visible for registered and approved employer accounts? - Is it possible to only accept the registrations of employers manual? So not automatic after signing in? - Is it possible to apply for a job with linked? Button?

Hope to hear from you. Thanks in advance.

Hi

ad1. Yes but not out of the box

ad2. No but that might be doable with help of some plugins

ad3. Not anymore, there was official add-on for Linked but they changed API and it’s not possible anymore

During adding new job offer I have position “Application URL”, what is it?

This is field for a link to a page where is the actual application form, in case you want to use your site like jobs aggregator

Sorry but I don’t understand, what is difference between “Application email/URL” and “External “Apply for Job” link (optional)”?

The Application email/URL is default WPJM field, and it just displays the link/email in the popup after clicking Apply button, the “External (..)’ field is a WorkScout added field that actually redirects the user already after clicking the Apply link without the popup

Hi, the logo is dropping (not central) on the header. Please could you look into this? If it’s usually a sizing issue please confirm the best dimensions for the logo.

Hi

200×50 is the recommended size for logo. Can you send me link to your site so I could see the issue?

HI

i have seen in your workscout demo that your job submission leads to a preview page with two button namely “edit listing” and “choose package” on my website instead of choose package button it shows submit listing straight without an option to charge someone for submitting job listing. i have tried creating products in woocomerce hoping it will be picked up on job submission page but its not working. how do i have the woo job package displayed like demo on job submission?

i have wc paid listings plugin, when i activate it the button on job preview shows” pay for listing” which shows paypal or stripe when clicked. it does not take them to job packages where they can choose. i have default theme products on woocommerce the startup, enterprise and company products

So you also have Simple Paid Listing add-on active, those two can’t work together, so please disable the Simple Paid Listing

Thanks It worked :)

pre-sale question:

Does the theme requires any external plugins to work ? like still have to install WPJM to make it work ?

Hi,

If you want the same content as the demo page, you need to buy also some additional plugins, WorkScout is based on WP Job Manager and it’s add-ons. The free version of WP Job Manager allows for listing jobs and job submissions, If you want to have resumes, application, bookmarks, job alerts and other features you can see on a demo, the best way would be to buy the Core Add-on Bundle https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/bundle/

Is there an option to manage in which stage the candidate is in? Like “Screening”, “Phone Interview”, similar to what RecruiterBox does.

Interested in buying. From what i can see, i need to buy the “Resume Manager” for the users to register, edit profile with cv, etc, right? Do i need to buy for example this: https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/applications/? To let users apply for a job with a form? Or is this integrated with the theme?

Yes, and if you want to save applications in your WordPress you need that add-on, otherwise you can use Mail based form (so users is actually sending his application via email to employer)

This is a pre sales question. Just want to handle the case when the candidate might also be an employer, I don’t want the customer to maintain two usernames for login. Can employer and candidate share the same login when they are the same person. Thanks a lot!

However, I noticed that there is a combo box where two options: to hire or for a job on the Sign Up/Register page. In my case, if the person has two roles: Employer and Candidate, the user doesn’t require to select such combo box, this combo box can be hidden, so how can your theme handle one user (i.e. only one email address) to associate with those two roles? Thanks a lot again !!

Very appreciated for your great help. Three more questions:

1) I will use your theme for barter bidding function, can all the job-related wording/buttons be replaced with other wordings, do I need further customisation service from you? 2) Can I add custom fields on the post? 3) Can login activate after pressing “apply for job” button

Thank you very much! Michael

Hi

it doesn’t really matter what role user has, and you can disable that role dropdown option

ad1. First of all there’s no ‘bidding’ functionality in theme as this is classic job board theme, and adding it is much more complicated, changing few texts is not a problem here ;)

ad2. Post a Job? yes https://wpjobmanager.com/document/editing-job-submission-fields/

ad3. You can require users to be logged in to apply for job

Hi

i have bit of an issue, i recently added google ads on my website and inserted the ad sense code in my header and footer page of the theme. it seemed to be working well however the footer 3th column widget is being pushed and the ad is displayed in it place. how do i rectify the issue?

it does show up well sometimes like on your screenshot but it also pushes it down after you refresh the page sometimes this how it looks like after refresh https://www.dropbox.com/s/sreopgs55xkczjg/cham.png?dl=0

it worked, thank you :)

Good morning, I am getting on great with the theme apart from one issue with the logo in the menu. I’ve set the header/menu to be clear so I’ve used white text on my logo. However when I jump further into the site the white text blends in with the background. How can I set a second logo with dark text to appear internally on the site?

Thank you, Adam

It is fixed since yesterday, it’s currently set to show Featured Jobs like you wanted and it shows only one job https://www.dropbox.com/s/mugnglfmw51z4s1/Screenshot%202018-07-03%2013.56.58.png?dl=0 because that’s exactly how many featured jobs you have in your WordPress https://www.dropbox.com/s/am2nm78bt8gg55z/Screenshot%202018-07-03%2013.58.00.png?dl=0

But it’s not working here as originally discussed. Sending the same screenshots but taken just now.

https://imgur.com/a/Y5EhzZJ

In screenshot 1 you can see that there are three featured jobs carousels. In screenshot number two you can see that I have selected the only feature job. In screenshot number three you can see that two jobs that apparently aren’t featured “because that’s exactly how many featured jobs you have in your WordPress” are showing. But the only job that I have physically labelled as featured is not showing. Please look into this.

I explained the reasons behind this and it’s fixed now, please continue this conversation via email there’s no need to duplicate those messages. Thank you

Hey there, pre-sales question: I see that this theme comes with WPJM and some add-ons, does this theme support ALL the add-ons offered by WPJM or only a select few…

Hi

all official add-ons (core add-on bundle) are supported (but they are not included with theme just to be clear about that)

Hi purethemes,

Absolutely love this theme, but I need to find to find a few things out in advance please:

a) Can an employer save their company information so that they don’t have to fill it in for each job posting they do?

b) Can an employer select the currency in which the job posting will display, for instance US select US$ and the UK select GBP£?

Hope to hear from you.

Kind regards

Paul

Hi Paul

thanks!

ad1) yes, it’s done first time he adds a job, the company fields are then pre-filled next time he adds the job

ad2) no, there’s only one currency setting for all jobs

Hello,

I finally figure out that my clients are using a hacked version of your theme,

this is the website lemployeur.com hosted in OVH.com if you want to take measures against them,

have a nice day.

Looked through the threads before asking, apologies if repeated.

Is there a way to list/show the jobs by “employer” or (User ID#)?

Thank you in advance.

Hi

I’m afraid there isn’t, the only way is with the Companies add-on but it just generates subpages for jobs by company, doesn’t allow listing it anywhere else

Multi-lingual support (or dual language support)

I have used Loco Translate to translate the theme to Swedish. Worked well. Today I am using Google Translate plugin for a quick and dirty translation of the pages to English. Some of the translation sucks though, I am considering changing to a plugin where I can do the actual translation and save it. I do not have many pages where I need translation.

I have searched and found Polylang, which seems to fit my needs. Is it compatible with WorkScout?

Or, do you have any other good suggestions that would work well with the theme?

HI

generally WorkScout is not fully compatible with any of multilingual plugins, however I’ve seen some implementation with people using WPJM, but you’ll for sure encounter some problems with it. I guess you could try with Polylang as it’s free plugin

I just updated from older version to new one and I got the #mobile-navigation menu visible on desktop.

Is there somewhere a selection to disable this?

Can’t say without having access to it, so if possible please send it via Support Tab

Hi, I have mailed you login credentials.

Please let me know how can I edit the job application pop up? I want to add a checkbox for the GDPR compliance.

You have Form Editor in Dashboard -> Job Applications -> Application Form
