Don’t worry, we will sort this out with you! This happens because of one of 2 main reasons:
A.) Your PHP upload limit is small. Ark is stuffed with pre-defined content (for your easier usage), so its little bigger than your usual multi-purpose theme (it has around 60mb). The solution here is pretty easy – install the theme via FTP:
http://arktheme.com/academy/tutorial/upload-via-ftp/B.) You are uploading the wrong package. You need to upload the file “ark-UPLOAD-THIS.zip”. You might be mistakenly uploading the whole package you downloaded from ThemeForest and this leads for this error. If this is the case, simply unzip the main package from ThemeForest, locate the “ark-UPLOAD-THIS.zip” and upload this.

I’ve purchased the theme multiple times however I’m keen on trying a shop build for the first time with ARK and hoping to buy another licence. However I’ve had a look at the freshbuilder options and can’t seem to figure out if I can display products from a specific woo-commerce category in a wrapper? Would I have to do this manually by using a shortcode within a wrapper? Or is there a pre-made element that I’m somehow missing.

I have added Charts to the footer of my page. By default, they are showing % values. Is there any way to amend that? I want them to show average number values, e.g. 7,7 instead of 30%. Thanks in advance !

In the current situation, the charts show only the percentages and due to the way, how the scripts works, it’s not easy to add different units.
But you can always use 3rd party plugins, like google charts. They are pretty easy to integrate with Ark

Please check parallax on Firefox – when applied as a bg layer in Titlebars or Footer for example it is not positioned correctly.
I am using Firefox Developer Edition and Firefox (normal 64bit) and it is not displayed properly.
It works as intended in other browsers.

Positive – I am running 1.35.0 and there is still an issue with Firefox while it works fine in other browsers.

Thank you, this Firefox issue was actually caused by Chrome version 67 bugfix which we have rewrote now and will be included in the next Ark version on Monday update.

The site graphically seems right for a few hours. Afterwards it resets the styles and explodes and at this point I have to go in dashboard -> system status -> clear frontend cache. After this operation the site will be reviewed correctly

Please check if you are using Fresh Performance Cache plugin, if yes, turn it off because it seems to conflict with some other plugin and finding the cause could take some time. You can install “autoptimize” plugin as a good free alternative for a similar caching solution.

Looks awesome. But I don’t understand why there is just some demos available (not the best IMO) for dummy install.
It should have at least all the demos we can see when we see the demo on ark theme website. But we have to spend 20 minutes (at least) to install a fracking big demo with massive unusefull content and then do the cleaning. This is just crazy, it makes us spending even more time that saving some when starting from fresh install.

I am sorry for the inconvenience. The main demo has other practical reasons for being the way it is (development purposes). Fragmenting it into dozens of smaller demos would be a huge development and maintenance overhead. It is actually quick and easy to delete large amount of pages (and other post types too), if you go to “WP-admin > Pages” and click on “Screen Options” in the top right corner of your screen, you can then set to show for example 999 pages at once. Then you can click one button to select all pages and then deselect those that you do not need.

1A) “Ark > Sitemap” should be populated with WPML related “views” that you can link to desired Layouts (“Ark > Layouts”) that you can build separately for each language.
2) You can pick specific categories via Loop tab of a blog/portfolio element

1A) I have looked but doesn’t make a lot of sense right now. The most easy way would be if the footer & header section would be translatable with wpml as it looks like they are pages too? Many themes have even already have WPML menu integrated in the theme which would be a big help too.
it is also unfortunate that the elements dont have an option to show any menu (horizontal or vertical)
2) Also try to figure out how , but is not clear to me how to do that!
