Hi, great theme, I want to purchase it and have a few questions: 1. On the home page of theme you got filter “search by price range”, but there are no prices on listings list and on listing page design… How would it look like? I need prices to be visible.
2. Can I change “Add listing page” and put other forms? For example I need to add: Amenities, tags or opening time.
3. I would like to make a subscription system for where listings can pay a monthly fee for being on website, can I make it somehow?
Hello,
Thank you for taking interest in FindMe.
1. What you’re searching for on this page http://findme.elated-themes.com/ are listings. Listings could be venues, events, restaurants, etc. That’s why you don’t see prices labeled.
2. No, unfortunately not. Only listings can be added by default.
3. This would require some additional coding skills. We don’t have this feature included as a default. Sorry about that.

But can I customize elements for this theme? I mean if I buy this theme and hire a developer dosnt he has any problem with it? Want to be sure the core structure is not so fixed that only someone with prior knowledge about it can modify it and/or that changes will be hard to maintain with future updates.
Thank you!
Hi,
Our theme is built using WP bakery page builder, so customizing the appearance of the listing shouldn’t be a difficult task. Let us know if there’s anything else!
Elated
I mean can I add price to be shown for each listing?
And does WPbakery page builder included?
Hi,
Actually, listings are made for venues, events, places etc. So there’s no point in putting a price tag to a Bar for example. Listings are made so that a user can publish his own place and advertise on your website for a certain fee. You can see pricing lists in action here http://findme.elated-themes.com/elements/listing-packages/ If you want to sell anything on your website, you should use WooCommerce plugin that is included in theme’s package.
WP Bakery is included and comes bundled with FindMe theme and all other Elated themes for that matter.

Hi, tried to understand how customer can add listings to your theme, but on “Add new listing” page there are no amenities, no category (nightlife or culture or tourism or other ) How does it works?
Hi,
When you log in with test/test credentials, you will be able to add listing, as well as other listing-related information https://www.screencast.com/t/zMyJ0IlgtX
Let us know if there’s anything else!
Elated
Ok, ones again: I can’t understand how to add category? There is no such form. In your theme you have different categories “nightlife” “shoping” etc. How to add listing to category? How to add amenities?
Hi,
You can see a category dropdown if you click “Job type” https://www.screencast.com/t/SRCzmYHW

Hi there, pre purchase question – Is it possible to add Business hours anywhere, or will this be an added feature in the future?
Hello,
Thank you for taking interest in FindMe!
You can add a top bar just like on this page and add a simple widget that will display business hours http://findme.elated-themes.com/map-home/

Hello,
Thank you for taking interest in our FindMe theme. Unfortunately, we didn’t test this plugin with our theme, so we cannot confirm compatibility.

Hello! I wanted to try out the demo, but kept getting an error message with user: test and pass: test. Can you provide the correct login info?
My client wanted to use this theme for a different purpose, so I’m curious about customizing the user profile’s to include information specific to that sort of site. Can the profile content be customized through theme options?
Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for taking interest in our FIndMe theme. Could you, please, try now to login using test account. Everything should be working well now. We updated our test user. You could login and see how user dashboard looks like.
Best, Elated
It worked; thank you! Is there a way to see (demo or even screenshots) how it works on the back-end? Specifically, can profile fields be edited? For example, can we add or edit profile fields through theme options? Thank you again!
Hi,
We can only provide a screenshot of our framework https://www.screencast.com/t/j2HNS9IG & https://www.screencast.com/t/aVDzsLNZ unfortunately we don’t have any access for potential users, sorry about that.
We’re here for anything else!

Hello, does this theme also support location detection via Google Places API? If not, any plans to ship such a functionality? Many thanks
Hello there,
Thank you for interest in our theme.
We have implemented additional filter for the Listings via geo location, which will fetch your current address by clicking on the pin icon in Enter Address field https://www.screencast.com/t/DbvgYOHw2 ( also you can manually set there any address and filter results according to it )
Best regards, Elated
Is there anyway to customize the category listings? I like the overall look of this template. However I want something a little less map heavy. I’d love it if it could look more like this page perhaps? http://findme.elated-themes.com/popular-categories/
Hello,
Listing categories don’t have many styling options, unfortunately, the page you sent is the example of how it looks like by default. Modifying this would require some changes in theme’s default CSS file..

Hello. I liked your theme, have some bad reviews but anyway. I would like to know if, when an user add a listing, he can add his own calendar available day, as well as the time available. In some listings in your demo a customer can select the date and time, but when I tried to add a listing, didn’t give me the possibility to do that.
Hello,
Yes, we got some bad reviews from problematic users, that don’t really know how to configure our theme properly. Please ignore that, we will release a major update very soon which fixes most of the bugs mentioned in these reviews.
Can you please send me the listing where you’ve seen date and time, as I couldn’t find it. Thank you.

Pre Sale Q.
1. Aesthetically great theme! (not a Q)
2.We really want to buy this theme for an ancillary project . . (hope we can pull off a similarly attractive site) BUT it would be great to find an author who also provides the the MAIN directory theme we are seeking. WHICH IS OH SO HARD TO FIND! More specifically a “Service Directory” not based on physical business location. Such as Themeforest “Service Finder” but look better. We intend to use it for artists (all kinds) We want to filter type of art (which is broad unto itself ) but also need to filter other professional services artist provide (curatorial, project management, teaching etc). We want to be geographically specific but just as it provides “service areas”. Any suggestions?
99.9% of all directory themes are not suitable for service providers. Don't you folks , with your aesthetic capacities, want to develop one?
Hello,
I really didn’t understand you properly, can you please explain your question a bit more? What “service areas”? Suggestions for what exactly?
Elated
Hello, Most directory themes are based on physical locations of “store front” businesses. When a business is a service provider such as a freelance artist, consultant, carpenter.. etc. who goes to the location of the customer, or in the case of an artist, may create in a nonpublic home studio, the location of their service “home’ is not their home address, rather the area/towns they offer/provide their service.
There are so few themes for “service providers”. The few that exist wind the platform into hiring/booking through the site, which we are not interested in at the moment. We just want to give local/state service providers a way to list services, get reviews, put up an image gallery etc.
Though, the “job board” provided in some existing themes is a nice feature . .
Hello,
Than this is the right theme for your business
You should be able to do all of this with our FindMe theme.

I already add a google map api key but the maps still not showing
Hello,
We located your support request and forwarded it to our agents, which will refer to it as soon as possible. Please check ticket status in a while.

Honestly there support is non existent. All they do is reply with a message of sorry we don’t do that. To bad because its a great theme. They cant even answer simple questions of how to modify a single listing.
Hello,
We managed to find all your tickets and as we could see our support team helped you with any doubt you have. If you need further help, that is theme related, our support agents are on your service on https://elated.ticksy.com We hope you’ll be satisfied.
Best, Elated
Exactly what I mean. I asked how to modify the single listings page and got the same response. I’m not paying to renew support because I never really got it to begin with. Your support answered a few questions about the tags which isn’t documented that well but never about modifying the single listing which is what I need to do.
Hello,
We looked through your support queries and figured out that what you’re looking for is actually custom coding / modifying template files to user’s desire, which is not covered by item support https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy#whats-not-included-item-support Sorry about that.
We’re here for anything else you might need.

Hello, I want to purchase a theme and, hand in hand, have it customized. And I’m totally ok if you want to add the features I request to the theme so that all your users benefit from them.
As I need to fully understand the customization scope, viability, cost and delivery time before purchasing the theme and request the customization, how can I reach you privately to send you the outline (a PDF, sort of mockup to explain me more clearly since I’m neither a developer nor a native English speaker) and be in contact for any information exchange needed?
Hi,
Thank you for taking interest in our FindMe theme. We really cannot provide you with any custom work since it is not under our support scope. Our support team is on your service to help you to setup your site within our theme, or with our theme options.
Best, Elated
Hi! First of all thank you for taking the time to answer and sorry for the delay. We like the theme and decided to instead of try to make it meet our needs, take advantage of what it already offers. So, we’ll very much appreciate if you could be so kind to help us with these questions since we couldn’t figure out browsing the demo.
Will any developer be able customize the theme? We want to make sure the core structure is not so fixed that only someone with prior knowledge about it can modify it and/or that changes will be hard to maintain with future updates.
We’re going to install an Ad Manager plugin to display or hide ads based on URL parameters (different headers in different categories and subcategories).
a) Theme comes with classic search option (URLs changing with page reload at search) or only Ajax? Because with Ajax we won’t be able to place the ads since the URL won’t change (that’s what we understood).
b) Theme displays user and search engine friendly URLs? AKA pretty permalinks (/listings/keyword/city) versus ugly permalinks (/listings/ct_keyword&ct_city)
c) Theme displays URL query strings always in same order or the order changes according to filtering sequence? What we mean is: If user chooses category first and search, and then chooses location the URL would be /category/location. If he chooses location first and search, and then chooses category, the URL will still be /category/location instead of now being /location/category?
1) Is it possible to let the user choose more than one category and/or subcategory for his listing?
2) Emails sent through listings contact forms will go to the corresponding listing owners or to the website owner?
3) Email alerts are received when listings are created or deleted?
4) Not wanting to have to approve every listing created, can we set them to be published right away when submitted?
5) If so, we’ll still receive email alerts upon listings creation and deleting, or we will lose them for that?
6) How customizable is the search box? At first we want to let visitors filter by Category and Location only, and later as the listings grow have more filtering options.
7) Which way translation can be accomplished, with .po files and also with Loco Translate plugin?
8- Theme lets add own dependencies (like Country – State)? If so child options aren’t displayed until visitor first chooses one option of the parent field or always displayed?
PS We like Search&Go and BizFinder as well as FindMe themes so I’ll post questions on the three to tie-break and choose based on features.
Hi,
Because all 3 themes have exactly the same features, this answer counts for all 3 of them.
a) We use classic search, no AJAX. b) when you search for something, it’s “ugly” url. c) Always in the same order.
1) No, this is not possible with our theme.
2) Owner of the website.
3) No, you have to configure this for yourself manually.
4) Yes, this is possible.
5) This is optional, can be turned on or off.
6) Not customizable at all, search looks for keywords only.
7) We suggest WPML plugin, that is compatible with our themes. You can also translate theme labels manually, using default .po file.
This feature is not available in our theme.
Best,
Elated
I already replied in the other themes but I wanted to do it in all pages I posted my questions cause you deserve the public recognition:
Thank you so very much for being that much patient, helpful and kind. It’s difficult to choose between the 3 themes cause having the same features it all comes down to aesthetics, which are great in all of them!
Hi,
Thank you for taking time to look through our portfolio, we appreciate that!

Great theme, I hope you guys will keep updating it and provide us further enhancement! Can you increase the page speed, it is below 50 on mobile and desktop? https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Ffindme.elated-themes.com%2Ffullscreen-home%2F
1. What is in your pipeline for future development? Can we see that somewhere?
2. On your support page, I can not find the theme under product or category to submit the ticket.
Thanks

Hi, I am extremely suggesting you to create a OLX kind of Classified version for this theme.
Hello there,
Thanks for your suggestion.

Hello. I’m interested in this theme because its WPML compatible, but would like to know if it is multi-language ready? Thank you!
Hello,
Thank you for taking interest in our theme. Yes, it is WPML compatible which means it is multilingual ready.
Best regards, Elated
Hi there, I have a few questions before I make a purchase:
1. Can you have multiple categories in the NAV BAR for various blog postings? I want to have both a directory and content heavy magazine site.
2. Can I place display ad units on the homepage?
3. Can the sidebar be widened to support big box MPUs ( 300×250)
4. I notice you use WOO COMMERCE for your payment gateway. Can this support recurring payments? I know Listfy use Woo Commerce and it can.
5. Can you support Monthly payments?
6. Can you have both PREMIUM and Basic listings? Premium being sticky at the top of search results?
7. Lastly, I notice on your demo on mobile the social icons all MASH UP together…and are on top of each other. Can this be fixed?
8. Do you have any examples of LIVE/REAL sites using your theme?
That’s all for now!
Thank you,
Hi there,
And thanks for contacting us.
1. Yes, this is default WordPress functionality, so you can add blog category links as menu items.
2. Theme us using WPBakery Page Builder, so you can arrange elements to your liking, like to place image adds, or code adds over RAW JS element.
3. This can be done with some css code, and our support can help you with that if you decide to use the theme.
4. User will be notified that listing will expire, so they will need to renew subscription.
5. Yes, you can define amount of days for subscription. Available options are shown in the screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/o5Z5XmoS
6. You can configure different pricing plans, but unfortunately they won’t be displayed separately in search results.
7. Yes, they can be arranged like this for example https://www.screencast.com/t/WC8MZiaC9n
8. Many users has purchased our theme, and they are using it on live domains, but we don’t have permission to share them publicly so we can’t do that unfortunately.

Me again, regarding premium and basic listings. Can you make a premium listing sticky – meaning it will rise to the top of search results versus a basic (cheaper) listing?
Hi again,
Such an option doesn’t exist, so this isn’t possible, sorry.
Elated
Hi guys, I have to admit my support is already expired but after an update I’m having a strange issue I have two menus on top (one is normal and on top of top of that floating menu). So in case if it’s something common I would really appreciate help. If not, sorry for disturbance.
Hello,
Please share a link to your website so we can take a quick look.
Eleated
thanks for reply – strange thing but after i reduced amount of links in menu, it had disappeared.
Hi again,
And thanks for update.
Probably there were too many items, so initial and sticky menu items used two lines. If you encounter this again, try to reduce menu font size, or organize some of your items as 2nd level menu items.
Elated
I am seeing a flaw in your theme that I was wondering if there is a fix for. Here is my problem… When creating a blog entry… I want a featured image to show on the blog listing, or blog page where it shows a list of recent posts, and an image to go with it. That image can be uploaded in the additional theme options directly below the post. However… the recent posts feature that shows recent posts does not use that Elated theme option. You must use the featured image option built into wordpress. The problem is that I dont want that featured image to show in my content. I want image to show in the recent posts, or category of posts, and yet I am forced to have this giant image showing on my blog post that I do not want… most themes have an option built in to not show the featured im in the post content, and yours does not… any suggestions?
Hello,
Feature image can be hidden with some css code if you don’t like it at the top, and you can contact our support regarding this, and they will suggest possible workarounds. You can contact them by submitting a ticket at https://elated.ticksy.com
