Visual Composer/Page builder Ready?
Hi,
Due to the custom structure of the theme, I don’t think that using the visual composer plugins is a good idea. For now, we are not recommending any plugin like this to be used with the Timber theme.

Im a bit annoyed I came back to this theme and not having the demo content is understandable but I don’t even see an option to create a new project. Am I wrong how is that something that gets taken away?
My Apologies I see it I had to do a little work. I do however wonder is it possible to insert the functionality of the plugin woo image mapper into the zoomed picture in a gallery? just wondering.

For now, the theme is only compatible with the basic WooCommerce plugin. Any additional plugin might need some custom changes to make it compatible with our theme.
Regarding the change of the View project words, you can easily do this in a few seconds. Just open a ticket using the Theme Help button from your dashboard area once you renewed the support area and we’ll take care of this in no time.

Thank you. I’m a little disappointed with this answer. For almost $100 dollars you will give me a snippet of coding for the view project thing. However you weren’t clear on the changes for the plugin. Is this something I can get help implementing?

Regarding the changes for the plugin, I’m afraid that this is a part that I cannot help you with. We are not planning offering support for new plugins for now and adding compatibility with the tool you mentioned might need some custom changes inside the theme files.

The theme doesn’t work proper with the latest version of safari. Sliding through the portfolios make the site flickering. Visible by removing the frame from theme forest. This bug needs to be fixed asap.

hi – i have your theme installed and was considering the upgrade, but i see there are issues with it on mobile. As I can see, you’re using a very old version of the theme (over a year old). Can you update first the theme to the latest version and see if you still have all these issues, please? A lot of things changed in the meantime and things should look better while using the latest version of Timber.

Got a question. I was waiting for a edge/scroll fix for a long time (around 6-8 months already). What should I do when my license already expired and I can’t do anything to update your theme. Sorry to say that but I won’t spend more money just to buy license and do a fix which should be already done in past 8 months. Is there any other way to update a theme or buying a new license is the only thing to do?

Update went good but problems mentioned 8 months ago still exist, sad to say cause I really thought that it will be fixed asap. If i will load site second time it will work fine, but if someone is on my site for the first time it doesn’t work properly. I still can’t scroll properly to the bottom of the site, and portfolio site is freezing when someone is opening site for the first time.

Your scroll fix is still not working. Even on your demo. Checked it on Macbook (Safari, Google Chrome), Windows 10 (Google Chrome). I need to refresh the page few times and then I’m able to scroll down to the fullest.
Just purchased and can not install demo content. Followed directions in documentation and read through comments on here with no answers. Once I click import a warning box comes up with “We encountered a server problem Oh, snap! Something went wrong but we are unable to make sense of the actual problem.”

There is a “Fullscreen Image Scaling” option that you can set to “Fit” instead of “Fill”. You can read more about it in the “Project Layout” section from the documentation: https://pixelgrade.com/docs/timber/getting-started/user-guide/

I checked everything once again using the latest version of Windows 10 on Internet Explorer 11 and Edge and the scroll works very well now. In 4 weeks there will the new “General Data Protection Regulation” (in German: Datenschutz-Grundverordnung DSGVO) become law in the European Union. Then it will be illegal that our websites use google fonts, send data out of the EU etc. Have you heard of it? Are you planning to modify the theme so that users/buyers out of the EU can still use it in the future?

When I load my site there are scripts running via cdnjs.cloudflare.com and pxgcdn.com – this will be illegal in a few weeks. I don’t know how I can prevent this. If I renew my support, is it certain that you release an update in time so that I can use the theme still after 05/25/2018?

Try to go from front page to contact page and hit submission button on contact form. Page is reloading. It’s not normal behavior for this plugin. Something is wrong with main.js of template, wich is blocking all js scripts on page. When refreshing page (eg. ctrl+f5) scripts load fine.
