Hi, can you remind me how to change the ID of the rev slider we want to have show up on the home page?
we are also using the pagebuilder tool, I don’t see any page options section to change the id or name of the revolution slider.

You can edit home page rev slider with “Page Options” metabox which is next to main editor or page builder section.
Go to Edit home page > “Page Options” metabox > Sub Header Styles > Header Style > select revolution slider name from dropdown.

You have to do several steps to make your website faster after first phase of customization like use cache plugin, compressed css, javascript, image optimization, deactivate not required plugins, compress html code etc. This is necessary work for every wordpress website to load fast. I bought the pro version of WP rocket to do all of those things you suggested. I’ve been working with them and my hosting company to see what the issue could be. It’s been over a month that I have been working on it from my end by doing everything you’ve suggested above. My site is still showing bloated code and just under 50% is ‘other’ (not html, css or javascript). When I remove the theme and use Twenty Seventeen theme the site loads fast, there is no delay at all.

You have to replace current version with latest theme version by deleting current theme. When you will activate theme then you will find plugin update notice on top of the page.
Or you can delete current page builder plugin and install plugin from below file path.

On my contacts page, the google maps doesn’t work anymore. So I just downloaded the latest kids world theme today, Sept. 21, 2018 and installed kids-world-child-theme.zip (31kb). I installed it but I still get the same error (Google maps can’t load correctly. Do you own this website? OK) on google maps. Any help would be appreciated.

Google map API is now not 100% free like before after 16th July, 2018. It requires billing process and register credit card information for free plan. This is a very big change (from Google) for all websites which has Google Map API contact map.

Please upload latest theme version and add API from Admin > Appearance > Customize > Sub Header > Scroll at bottom to find out “Google Maps API” section.
If you don’t want to use API option then you can use Google Embed code option.

Hi again. When I make a new page and click sub header, in the drop down box google maps chioce is there but not the embed google maps choice. In the original message it says what I installed. Was that correct for the new theme?

How do I update it without losing all the pages I designed?
Hi Tim,
You have to replace current theme with latest theme which will not remove any post/page content, media files, customizer settings etc. because this data is stored in database and we are only replacing theme folder.
If you did any changes in theme’s file like header.php, footer.php, style.css etc. then you have to take back up these files and apply custom changes in latest version theme files.
Download latest version theme zip file, delete current theme from admin > appearance > themes, and upload latest version.

That worked great and the google maps works correctly. Thank you! I just have one more item to correct. My blog is named ‘Newsroom’ but on the blog page it says ‘Blog’ instead of ‘Newsroom. I had this happen last year when I set up the site. I have the ‘Newsroom’ name set in the customizer but it won’t change the name from ‘Blog’ on the blog page. So last year, the customer support person said I had to go into the code and add a line or two to make it say ‘Newsroom’. I did that and it worked perfectly. But I didn’t save the directions he sent me from last year. Could you help with that?
Another major issue. Wordpress said I needed to update the ‘short codes’ and ‘time table’ plugins. I did that and now google maps doesn’t work. In place of the map all I get is code on the website. Any suggestions? Here is the page.

The issue is because the page builder at your end is modified by the theme author. The elements such as promotion box is not our standard element. Click on any icon on this site page and copy icon html code

As per our understanding with the help of google translation (of this query) , you want to fix slider revolution issue on home page.
You can fix this issue by uploading home page demo slider from main downloaded zip file’s “demo-Files” folder.
File path : ../KidsWorld-2.5.0/demo-Files/demo-Revolution-Slider/school-home—-main-home-slider.zip
You can upload all other slider zip file for other pages like classes single etc.
Go to
Admin > Appearance > Slider Revolution (at bottom left side)
> Click on “Import Slider” thumbnail block
> Import “school-home—-main-home-slider.zip” slider file as per above file path.

Hi I want to include an image in the icon box instead of an icon. I try to add an image but it doesn’t show up in the box. Also, where can I find the code for the icomoon icons, I can only search font awesome and they don’t have the ones that I need. When I click on “class” it only shows the existing icon’s code, but I don’t where to get more. You have to add target=”_blank” inside link of “register now” button. This code is added in “single-classes.php” file line #159
You can edit it from admin > appearance > editor > select “KidsWorld” from top right side dropdown > click on “single-classes.php” from right sidebar file names list
We suggest you to use child theme and add “single-classes.php” file so you can have permanent backup of your all custom changes.

1. We only added minimum required pages to install demo content quickly for website customization. If we add all content in demo install then it is creating many issue for slow internet speed users to download all content. You can download same content for demo site from xml file ( KidsWorld-v2.5.0/demo-Files/demo-XML/kidsworld-demo.xml), if you need any specific page content then we can give you in email.
2. You can use Google Map with API option to add all details.
Select “Google Map with API” option in
“Header Style” dropdown of
“Sub Header Styles” Page Options metabox section.
3. You can use event shortcodes to display events in home or any other pages ( http://kidsworld.premiumthemes.in/classes-and-events/ ) from page builder “Events Large” element.
4. Loco translate plugin will translate theme content but for shortcodes you have to translate “Pre School Shortcodes” plugin files. File path : ../wp-content/plugins/pre-school-shortcodes/languages/

Top bar and footer contact bar ”mail to” is working perfect. When we click on both email it is opening our mail client in computer to send email. (reference: https://goo.gl/vD2T89 )
Footer “Contact Us” widget email, required link like “info@website-name-here.com” instead of default link of other site. You can edit it from admin > appearance > widget > Footer Column 2 – contact info widget – in this widget content box, check at bottom section which has email link with href=”http//... code, this should be your email id
