We understand your query with the template CSS structure. Envato does not allow us to provide separate CSS for all the templates. That’s why we managed CSS this way.

1. style.css for the actual template styles. Needed for all templates.

2. shortcodes.css for all shortcode. If a user don’t want to use any shortcode, then they can simply remove that specific shortcode from this file.

3. category-name.css (in demo-categories folder) additional CSS for the particular category.

4. Javascript: We have used a dynamic way to load javascript. As you can read on our item page, only a few scripts get loaded when they are needed due to which the plugins get loaded on the page dynamically, thereby alleviating the need to add the plugins manually.

5. @import CSS: We have used many shortcodes in this templates. If we put all these shortcodes CSS in style.css files, then its very difficult for a user to remove unnecessary CSS. If you don’t want to use the @import method, then copy all shortcode CSS and put it in shortcodes.css it will take 5-10 minutes.

In our documentation, we provided use of each and every file in details. So that user can delete it if they don’t need any CSS file.

Hi, I asked before what files are needed for header-dark-topbar.html and never got an answer to that. And I don’t want to use the dynamic way of excluding or including JavaScript. Only need the navigation, top header and footer. Regards, David

If you want to use header-dark-topbar.html and footer, you will need below files: mega_menu.css style.css responsive.css mega_menu.js custom.js
