Hi – Thank you for creating such a great theme. I am using this in conjunction with LearnDash, and was wondering if there are anyways to remove the date from posts?

Hi author! Nice theme … I bought the licence and tried some adjustments today. One question: is there a german language pack available? Otherwise I would have to translate everything (buttons, headers etc.)
Hello,
To translate any label in the theme, you would have to use a 3rd party plugin, such as WPML or Loco Translate or Polylang.
This way, you’d be able to translate string of any kind, including the Widget Area names and titles, as well as WooCommerce labels. These plugins are quite straight-forward and easy to use even for the least experienced users. Have in mind that only WPML is tested with our themes, so others might not work perfectly with every element of the theme, but from the feedback of our users, in most cases, there are no problems.
Additionally, if you want to manually translate some strings and go more into details, you can use some translation software like Poedit.
Note that when translating labels from plugins, you will generate files like domain-RU.mo and domain-RU.po. And you need to rename these to follow this expample: core-plugin-ru_RU.mo and core-plugin-ru_RU.po.

Hello there,
Pre-purchase question for you,
- Is there a way to upload/manage custom web fonts? - I noticed your demo site seemed very slower that others, maybe due to hosting but can you explain a bit more about the loading time?
Thanks!
Hello,
Thank you for reaching us!
Custom font upload is explained better in this public article -> https://elated.ticksy.com/article/10840/
Demo websites may appear slow sometimes, usually it’s because we tend to feature high quality images, as well as all other features that may affect page loading time. Sometimes we turn on all of them, just for the showcase purpose, because our themes should run on Retina displays as well, which, you’d assume, recognize even the tiniest lack of quality.

Pre purchase enquiry: Really got high going through your theme. just wanted to confirm a few things before i buy:
1. access to the sandbox for backend validation
2. checkouts- http://academist.elated-themes.com/checkout/ was wondering if this could actually be functional for the place order? Is it going to have a built in payment gateway or i have to solve it myself? If its to wc payment modules for courses and events are the plugins embedded or i need to go find something that works with your theme?
3. Events: are your event pages linked with event ticketing system? Are they actually convenience widgets or they are another class of categories and posts which i have to recreate for every single event which i post? I really hope for it to be the former but need to reconfirm.
4. this is a wonderful theme with events and learning courses, so just to check is the LMS system embedded within? Is it custom made from your end specially for this theme or is it third party.
The same question for the event management plugin as well as the ticketing and payment plugin if there are any. Are they custom made for this theme or are they third party?
5. If they are third party which vendors are they and if they were not embedded, which are the recommended plugins that will work with this theme?
6. Will this theme work with multivendor plugins?
7. Are there front end logins for users and different profile groups for lecturers and students, administrators?
8. Are there any form of engagement like what the usual and famous lms carries?
9. Last but not least the final confirmation: Name of A. LMS plugin B. Events Management & Ticketing Plugin C. Payment Gateway Plugin D. When and how we can arrange for a back end demo.
As the information asked for is quite intensive and i consider that you may not want this to be present for too many to see, i will take it down once you have replied to me either privately or in this chat for your benefit if you want me to.
Hello.
Thank you for taking interest in our theme.
1. We don’t provide pre-purchase access to our backend, sorry about that.
2. We use WooCommerce plugin to handle all courses, events and products. Here’re default payment gateways. You’d of course, have to set them up yourself.
3. Events are custom post type that you can create just like any other post. They’re not linked to any ticketing system.
4. LMS system is also a group of custom post types that we developed in form of a bundled plugin. It’s not 3rd party one, but ours and we provide full support for it.
5. They’re not 3rd party
6. We didn’t test any, so we can’ tell exactly.
7. Yes, sure, Academist Membership plugin is included with our theme, as well as bbPress for forum functionality.
8. Please clarify your question a bit. Thanks.
9. All of these features are exclusively built for our theme, we didn’t use any 3rd party asset for Academist, besides shopping, forum and page building functionality.
Unfortunately access to our back-end before purchase is forbidden, so we can’t provide you with that.

thanks for your reply,
1. We don’t provide pre-purchase access to our backend, sorry about that. >>If really to some extent backend is not we expected, do we have any recourse?
2. We use WooCommerce plugin to handle all courses, events and products. Here’re default payment gateways. You’d of course, have to set them up yourself.
3. Events are custom post type that you can create just like any other post. They’re not linked to any ticketing system. >>Some event systems are comprehensive in that they allow tracking of who are the attendees and so on. Are you able to advise and instruct so that we can build it under your instruction? If not that area will be another round of no recourse.
7. Yes, sure, Academist Membership plugin is included with our theme, as well as bbPress for forum functionality. >> I see that these parts are done extremely well with the styling and appearance. Does instructor have their admin page? Meaning that that have dedicated dashboard once we set their roles? Will they be able to sign up as an instructor right from day 1?
8. Please clarify your question a bit. Thanks. Example some lms they have engagement and point systems where learners get points for completing certain tasks and so on. Didn’t really get the chance to get into one of the courses, to see how it works. Also did not manage to enter as a role of student or teacher to see how it is. Since even your free course could not be purchased as the payment gateway was not set up.
And unfortunately, mid end is not accessible.
9. Events; Is your events a class type or a widget? Do i need to still another event plugin or with yours is good enough? Problem with events sometimes is the ticketing system, i could get a third party to handle the payment but again the list of attendees would unknown to me especially when payment is done and i have no idea if anyone signed up or even who.
Pretty interested to find out what plugin will work to complement the existing event structures that you have. Are you using a third party event module or it is also custom built, or at times it could just be display item.
It does seem important for me to ask.
10. I evaluate based on what i see on your demo, and it is perfect, but the other areas i need to understand further.
11. LMS: 1. The features 2. membership and how it works 3. Do different users have their admin panels and pages? 4. Front end logins or back end logins
Do you have any front end logins demos that i could see for different roles?
5. Course Previews: I could not purchase the free course which you have to see what shows up after. Could you, if there is a front end login to let me participate as a learner?
12. Help with request once i buy the theme:
Example, i want to change the various text wordings from “students” to Participants. Will support be able to point out to us where we can change that?
13. Reference: http://academist.elated-themes.com/course/the-future/ this page looks like a course page Below the image, it shows the tabs: description…..>> forum {5 tabs in all}1. Are these tabs populated on every course as part of the page or its simply a tabbed item that we manually create? 2. Can we add more tabs or remove them if we needed to? 3. Under {members} we would see Total number of students in course: Is this also part of the page mechanics or its a manually created item? If its a coded item to appear, would it be possible for you to provide instruction to change them where required? 4. {Forum} This tab is coded? Or we have to put it there? 5. {Reviews} Is this a coded item or need to designer to put it there? Is it just for display or its a function? 6. {Description} Is this tab a function or a display created by designer? Under the designer, there is {Other Instructors}. Would that be a function or its a display item? 7. These instructors are to put manually put there, or it shows up accordingly to who was the creator of the course? Again a matter of function and display which i needed to know 8. Clicking on one of the instructors, eg (Mark Hook) brings us to his dedicated page where we see {courses and curriculum}. Is this page a function that displays the profile of Mark Hook or the designers have to create that manually for each lecturer? 9. Courses and curriculum are they functions or display?
Sorry for the number of questions posted. Because i really needed to be very clear about it since i have no access to the mid and back end.
Alternatively, should you allow me to purchase and if it fails my requirements that we can negotiate a way out i m glad to pay and explore on my own. But i think it will be a nicer option to explore the mid and back end to be sure.
14.Unfortunately access to our back-end before purchase is forbidden, so we can’t provide you with that. >> Yes, any alternatives for that? If the mid and back does not meet requirements?
Hi,
1. As stated before, we don’t have any back-end access for trial. Sorry about that.
3. Events are displayed only as events custom post type, that showcases particular event and it’s following information (date, time, address, organizer, website, venue, phone, map etc.) No attendees tracking is included.
7. Instructor’s dashboard will look exactly like yours (admin’s) only with limited functionality and access, depending on what user role you choose for him to be.
8. LMS works this way; You create a course, categorize it, include couple of lessons and questions. Then add a quiz, so that attendee who purchased that course and read all the lecture, can try to pass it within the threshold you set. Attendee will get a successful message if he passes that course.
9. See answer no. 3, no ticketing system is included in Events custom post type. Therefore, no payments are set. This would require additional coding skills to achieve.
11. See answer no. 8. You can try user dashboard using test-test/test-test credentials.
5. Free courses should be available for purchase and preview.
12. Yes, they will, however they won’t be in a position to modify these files for you.
13. Tabs are pre-built and if you don’t insert anything in the specific tab, it won’t be displayed. Members tab displays number of members that buy/start this course. Forum tab is pre-built like all others and displays the forum section you set in back-end. Reviews are pre-built section that can be only turned on or off and they really display ratings of your students. Description field is entirely built with WP Bakery page builder, so it’s up to you what will you display there. Other designers is a function that can be turned on or off. The instructor you set for specific course will appear as instructor. If you click on his name, the taxonomy page will come up displaying all courses assigned to him.
14. Please read answer no. 1. Thank you.

1. managed to log in and i saw the following:
Membership Profile
Dashboard
Orders
Downloads
Addresses
Account details
Logout
But if lets say as a user i purchase the various courses, could i be able to see all courses that i bought?
These are the given tabs i believe its from a plugin, is it 3party or custom made by the theme and is there any chance we can be instructed to edit the generic names {Orders, downloads and so on}
2. Possible to help me to log in at the front end as a lecturer? By the way are we able to change the name of lecturer to what we want him to be in the entire theme, or students to participants? With your instructions? after we purchase the themes?
Hi,
1. This is from Membership plugin we created and developed for some of our themes. These labels can be changed but from the template file itself. Our agent can point you to the file that needs changing, however, you’d have to make these changes yourself.
2. Instructors should be added by admin of the website, they’re not users, but created as custom post type. Please take a look -> http://academist.elated-themes.com/instructor/craig-lopez/
Instructors don’t have any role on your website, but for student to see who leads speficic course.
Again, our support team can only give you a hint where these changes should be applied, because it would consider as custom coding task, which we’re not in a position to provide. Thanks for understanding.

Hello, does this have a visual composer licence? I can’t find it in the documentation.
Hello,
The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
In the following text we’ll explain how the bundled plugins work:
Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon.
Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.
When a plugin is updated, the theme author will include the latest version of the bundled plugin with their next theme update. So you can easily update the bundled plugin when you next update your theme.
You can read more about this here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-PluginsElated
Sorry, it does state you have licences for both VB and Slider Revolution – but the two text files do not contain any codes. Do I have to buy these?
Hi,
Please read the first reply. Thanks.

Brilliant, thank you. I was aware of the bundled options but as it keeps asking for me to activate I wasn’t sure. Thank you though, and great theme!
Thank you for the kind words, have a good one!

Are you planning to include a coupon system?
Hello,
We already have coupons feature, it’s default WooCommerce option that comes with all our themes, take a look -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fDbDfGHDp

Amazing work Congratulations.
Thanks guys!
Hello, pre-purchase question: Can the elements of the theme be translated into Brazilian Portuguese? My site is for the Brazilian public, so elements and texts do not make sense in English.
Hello,
Thank you for taking notice of our work!
All our themes are translate-ready, which means all labels are translatable using some software or a 3rd party plugin. We would suggest WPML translator plugin, because it’s tested and compatible with all our themes.
https://www.screencast.com/t/Z0d5bwdbG7B4
We also do support translating using traditional method of Poedit software.
Hope this was helpful, let us know.

Hi, pre-buy question: Does this template integrates with WP LMS? If so, can I customize it so it doesn’t feel like a person is going to another website? (keeping look and feel from Academist? Thanks!
Hello,
Thank you for interesting in Academist.
We have developed our own LMS plugin that we use for lessons, courses, questions, quizes etc. https://www.screencast.com/t/bHlL4UF2Yk4Q so there’s no need to use any other LMS plugin.
