Check your spam. It usually puts its in spam until said otherwise. Because its filling in the email from which it sends instead of actually sending from that mail, so email providers think its spam and also please see this link: https://contactform7.com/faq/i-see-green-border-response-but-i-never-receive-mail/

Hello.. I found that latest version has some changes to the infinite scroll functionality. 4.5.0 was working great but now the loading icons appear into the footer area, 30px to low on every page. Also tested on a new clean install.

I switched my site to use the load more option but this now conflict with a plugin i am using to load Recent Viewed Products below the archive loop, so it will not load any new products, just showing Loading….

When i disable the recent viewed plugin the load more option works but it is very slow. Not at all that fast as the infinite scroll option.

Yes, we have updated infinite scroll library in the backend in our latest release 4.6.0 and I have tested now at my end and finds the same problem that you are facing while using Infinite Scroll, the loading icons appear into the footer area, 30px to low on page, so I am forwarding this to our development department and they will fix in it next coming update of the theme so until that please be patience.

And regarding Load More button I have also tested it at my end and it works perfectly with the same speed as infinite scroll has.

Well i had to move back to 4.5.0.. I could not get the load more option to work properly, it was very slow on categories with many products and when logged in as admin the problem was even bigger. Now using 4.5.0 and it seems to work ok, still a little slow if many products/many pages etc. but atleast it is stable and does not hang up.

Also 4.6.1 filled my debug logs with 3MB of php notices about pagination in just a few days.

You want to use an image for the overlay and there is no option in the element for that, and it is only possible in changing/customizing the code in the core element files, this is not only possible with the little CSS.

Hello again, my site URL is https://www.nshishiattorneys.co.tz/about-us-basic/ I have added a Flickr Widget. But unfortunately my ISP does not allow us to view flickr site. Which means I can not view flickr photos stream on my side. and in the URL I just see blank on flickr widget. Please help is there any other alternative where I can add a photo widget like that of flickr widget?

If your ISP does not allow you to view Flickr site then it is your ISP issue so please contact your ISP and also there are a lot of WP Bakery Elements which will help you to show the photo widget like that of Flickr widget on your site, you can check/test “Image Gallery, Image Carousel, Porto Image Frame, Porto preview Image, Porto InterActive Banner, Media Grid, Masonry Media Grid…. etc.

So please try one by one and check which one suited in your condition.

Sorry to say that but I am unable to see your providing screenshot and please go to wp-dashboard >> pages and finds and edit the shop page after editing shop page scroll below you will find the view options and in view options you will find content top option in which you will find a block slug name which means that the particular section is coming from thee blocks so now you have to go to wp-dashboard >> blocks and finds the particular block and edit it and change anything as per your requirements.

I just update to the latest version 4.6 from 4.5. The Visual Composer doesn’t work on the frontend anymore. It has a whitescreen with a cloud in the middle overlayed on the background. How do I fix it ?

If you want to set your online store with only one page you can use our Porto WordPress theme and set only the shop page for your site and delete all the other pages as per your requirements.

Yes, the visitor has the possibility to add items directly into the cart by clicking on the Add to cart button on the shop page.

I see new HTML Blocks under WP Porto Child Theme Options > General – where do I find the documentation on this? Hoping to use this to insert existing block I created ‘call-to-action’ so it will show in banner on all pages by default unless the page/post already has defined banner.

The HTML Blocks under Appearance >> Theme Options >> General, is the latest new feature of the Porto WordPress Theme.

If you want to show any of the Block at any section of your site and on the complete site then you have to use the HTML Block feature.

It is simply like the Global Block, means if you set the Block for the top section then that particular block will show on your complete site pages/posts top section.

You have to create a block as per your requirements under WP-Dashboard >> Blocks and then copy that particular block HTML/Text like showing in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HyMhm4i.png and then go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> General >> HTML Blocks and paste it at any section as per your requirements, then that block will be showing on the same place on your complete site.

And as per the documentation is concerned, we are working on the documentation updation and soon you will find an update documentation as well.

Would be MUCH BETTER if you did this the other way around – instead of “HTML Blocks” as you have them you should consider instead having “Global Default Blocks” and have the same drop-down and options you have for Banner Type in View Options on pages/posts/categories – this way we can still have simple HTML blocks if we want … but will also allow us to use all the benefits of Blocks such as using Shortcodes and WPBakery Page Builder – plus we will only ever need to edit it in one place.

As-is, without this I have been adding Banner Type blocks to each affected page, each post category, and all posts with Porto Theme options > Post > Single Post > Global Banner Block (so many places to change and then we have to remember this when adding new pages and categories – I always forget this and my clients never know how to do this on their own…!)

I have 31 websites using Porto. You absolutely have to make updating easier. This is crazy.

Seriously do you know how long it takes to upload the Porto folder to an FTP server? Now imagine having to do this 31 times. It literally takes me an entire day to update my websites. This MUST BE FIXED. I never had an issue losing settings when updating through Wordpress when you had that functionality. You must bring it back!

Sorry to say that but the automatic update process of the theme removes all the Customization of the customers sites that is why we switched it to manual update, now manual update will not affect on the Customization of the customers sites.

But I am forwarding your suggestion as a feature request to our development department then they will look through it in next coming updates of the theme.

Please try to update the theme via CPanel by following the steps given below hope you will not find an issue and also it will not take more than 3 minutes to upload the theme on the server if your server requirements meet the theme minimum requirements.

First of all please take the complete backup of your site/theme current version and then make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest theme minimum requirements.

Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:

1. Take the complete backup of your current site.(If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanel wp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything.(If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

Your theme will be updated easily.
