Hey
I am using Thrive Architect to build out my landing pages for my jobsite. I am able to hook up the name/email boxes to the WordPress API which allows me to designate them a user role [candidate] when they submit their details and click submit.
I have the option of being able to redirect the users to a page once they submit their info. Is there a page/code which allows me to use their submitted data and log them into their user dashboard upon clicking submit?
Thanks
Hi
Honestly I have no idea if it’s possible and how to “bite” this. Never used that plugin
Hi! Is it possible to Display on a Single Job Page (in Job Overview or somewhere else) a Location, not just a Region? Region in my logic can be a country, and Location – a city. So it can be displayed something like: Region – US, Location – Chicago.
Yes it is, please contact me via Support Tab with access to your WordPress, I’ll modify it for you.
Yes, I’ve contacted you there
It’s done
Thank you very much!
It looks really great. Exactly what I wished. Thanks a lot one more time! I have the next question: Can I add the same functionality to my English version of website which is placed on a separate .com domain? mobitalents.com If you help me – I’ll be really pleased. The data to access the Admin Panel is the same that I sent you for mobitalents.ru (login and pass)
Hi
Just copy the single-job_listing.php and inc/wp-job-manager.php in wp-content/themes/workscout to the 2nd installation
Yes, thank you for your help!
Hi! there is some way to edit the signup form?
Hi. Only in code
ok, please Would you be so kind as to tell me where in the code?
Code is in the theme that need to be bought first
You don’t have “purchased” badge and this is not a pre-sale question.
ok thanks!

Hi
please check https://wpjobmanager.com/document/applications/#section-6
Hello purethemes,
do you know the problem with Search Radius? The API is configured correctly, but if you search for location, and the search radius is limited to example 100 km, then nothing (jobs) is displayed. At a radius of 10,000 km, the jobs are displayed (which should already be at 30km). Similar problem as with user infotic. Is there a workaround or a solution? Thank you
Hi
do you have the latest update? I’m pretty sure it was fixed already.
Yes, i have the new installed Workscout Version: 1.5.08 and WorkScout ChildVersion: 1.0 (currently switched on)...
Please contact me via Support Tab with admin access to your WordPress, I’ll check it tomorrow in the office
Hello, is there any way to use the signup/login buttons with the WorkScout way (popups) on anywhere else besides the header? For instance on a sidebar widget or on the footer?
Regards, Frank
Hi
you can use it anywhere, just use the same HTML code as for the buttons in header:<a href="#login-dialog" class="small-dialog popup-with-zoom-anim"><i class="fa fa-lock" aria-hidden="true" /> Log In</a>
Thank you, but unfortunately this doesn’t quite work as expected as the button function does not change when logged in. Using the code to place a Log In button on the sidebar, I can login successfully, but afterwards, the button stays as “Log In” instead of changing to “Log Out”. If I click the button while logged in, it still attempts to load #login-dialog as a pop-up (which logically no longer appears in the page code because I am logged in), so a gray overlay appears over the page with no visible pop-up dialog.
Also, if I use the code for Sign Up, the button will trigger a sign up pop-up as expected. But once I am successfully logged in with an account, the Sign Up button stays visible on the page instead of being hidden. If I click the button, it still attempts to load #signup-dialog as a pop-up (which logically no longer appears in the page code because I have an account and am logged in), so a gray overlay appears over the page with no visible pop-up dialog.
Currently, adding the buttons via the suggested method does not quite function as they do when using the default ones on the header. Is there something missing or some other method you can suggest?
Regards, Frank
<?php if ( !is_user_logged_in() ) { ?>
code for log in/ sign up buttons
<?php } else { ?>
<a href="<?php echo wp_logout_url( home_url() ); ?>"><i class="fa fa-sign-out" /> <?php esc_html_e('Log Out','workscout') ?></a>
<?php } ?>
Hello. How do i add hour search field to the array for the template-home.php. I know it must be somthing in this line….$search_elements = Kirki::get_option( ‘workscout’, ‘pp_job_search_elements’,array(‘keywords’,’location’));
Hi
I’m afraid it’s more complicated to add a search by hour in that form
Thanks
Do you think you’ll add an ‘upsell’ feature. So when a person goes to check out you can allow the person to check a box to upsell to a featured listing? It will show a highlighted box or something saying ‘featured jobs get an increase of 33% more views (or soemthing like that)’
Hi
this is in the scope of WP Job Manager add-ons, not theme. You can suggest it to their support for WC Paid Listings plugin as this is where that kind of change would need to be done.
Thanks
Hello,
Do you provide and paid services to set up the purchased theme in a way I want? Thank you!
Hi
Generally no, we’re swamped with work and don’t take any customisation jobs right now, I can recommend someone. Contact me via Support Tab and let me know what you want to change in theme.
Hi! I don’t know what the problem is, but I don’t have a “Reset” red button on the Job list page on my website: https://mobitalents.ru/poisk-vakansij-dlja-relokacii/ . Could you help me? There is probably a problem with JS as I’ve found out from the earlier comments here, which were related to the same problem…
You don’t have any job offers there, so there’s nothing to ‘reset’
Adding job offers doesn’t help. Before I updated the theme there was a red “Reset” button on the right. But now – It has dissapeared
Hi
it’s weird but it’s hidden via CSS https://www.dropbox.com/s/npo3v8de99m47j0/Screenshot%202018-08-30%2023.32.14.png?dl=0
check in Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS if you don’t have it there
Oh, yes. It is wierd. I’ve deleted it. And it hepled
Quick pre-purchase question.
When candidates want to apply for a job they see the ‘Apply for job’ or ‘Apply with Facebook’..
When they click Apply now, the popup opens (http://prntscr.com/koeary) with the full name, email address, upload cv fields… now when they hit submit will the employer get a notification that someone has applied for that particular job? Or will it be a general application message they receive which doesn’t tell the employer which job has been applied for?
Also, can you add screening questions for job postings which are visible to the candidate? And when they apply the employer can see which questions they answered YES/NO to.
Thank you
Hi
In case of that particular popup it’s a Contact Form 7 form, so it will just send an email to employer. You can also use Applications add-on, that will create the application in the backend and also notify employer via email https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/applications/
There’s no screening questions feature
Ok so if I get the addon plugin,. when someone visits a job page and applies, the employer will then receive an email which states which job they are applying for as well as a link to their resume etc.
Yes
Hi
I have a pre-sale question. Can I add a step for employers to choose a package/pricing plan before allowing them to submit their job posting(s)? Thank you!
Best Regards, Jaynee
Hi
Yes, that’s an option in the plugin
Hello,
I have a pre-sale question.
Are you planning on creating ‘a progress bar’ that shows a step-by-step progress when your customer submits a job posting or a resume?
For example, it would be great to have a bar on top that shows where your customer is at when they post a job: 1. Login or create an account 2. Choose a package / plan 3. Describe your company and vacancy 4. Preview and submit your job
Best Regards, Jaynee
Hi Jaynee
no, we’re not planing to add anything like that, but thanks for the feedback!
Hello, I am working with your theme currently to complete a project, everything so far has worked fine however im trying to start working on the blog, and im running into a weird issue. When i select a page to be the blog in the settings -> reading options, everything gets overwritten. The title, sub-heading, no header image etc. I can’t make any changes to that layout at all, and i can’t seem to find the raw html for it either. What are my options here?
Many Thanks, Mac
Hi Mac
it’s not a weird issue, it’s how WordPress works with pages set to be ‘blog page’. Please verify your purchase if you wish to receive a further support. Thanks
Dear Support, do you also plan in the near future modern layout, where the map takes half of the screen, and on the other side are filters and results?
Interesting idea, we actually have something like that in our other theme https://findeo.realty/half-list-layout/ – we’re launching soon new theme (listeo) but after that I guess we could add this kind of layout to WorkScout. Thanks for feedback!
Hi there,
I have bought and installed the theme, I get this message from Google Search Console
Top 5 new issues found, ordered by number of affected pages: Missing field “baseSalary”
Missing field “employmentType”
Missing field “validThrough”
Missing field “jobLocation.address.postalCode”
Missing field “jobLocation.address.streetAddress”
I can’t actually see where these are? Any clues? Seems to be missing in the theme I have bought.
Hi
please check https://wpjobmanager.com/document/fixing-structured-data-issues/
Hi, before to buy the theme, I’d like to know if I can have these filters ?
- Languages (multiple choice possible):
English French Russian Brasilian Spanish
- Days of the week : Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday
- Working hours by week : 1 – 10 hours 10 – 15 hours 15 – 20 hours + 20 hours
- Jobs : Babysitter Teacher
Best, Andrea
Hi
it’s possible to add filters like that but it would require custom modification, those are not available out of the box
Hi, thank you for your reply. What do you call custom modification ?
No we don’t provide currently customisation service but I can recommend someone
Hi, would be great if you could recommend someone please
Best Andrea
Hi, I can recommend wpkraken as trusted source for WordPress modifications
I want to use the plugin just to manage the job subscriptions for my own company. Is there a way to to make the theme to assume that all the jobs posted are for the same company? As I see, when I go to the “Post a Job” the theme has Company fields.
Yes of course, you can just disable registration options and the “Post a Job” option from front-end so no one else would have a way to add it
Hello, I started to install this theme but I was wondering if there was a way to add a section for current/old employees to add reviews of the companies. thanks, will
Hi
there’s this plugin you may try https://astoundify.com/products/wp-job-manager-reviews/
Hello,
The theme is causing an issue in the Woo-commerce Store. It seems that one of the template overrides is causing store/shop images to duplicate. When previewing the page using another Woo-commerce compatible theme, there wasn’t an issue. Can this be resolved some way?
Thank you!
Hi
there’s no such problem with theme, I’ve tried regular products and they show fine, no one else reported such an issue. Make sure you’re running the latest version of WorkScout, as your comment doesn’t have ‘Supported’ badge it means you’ve bought the theme at lest 6 months ago, so I assume that you didn’t make any update since.
