I do not understand the operation of the slideshow based on the portfolio categories. Is it possible to have a slideshow by inserting images independently of the category? Or compared to a gallery a portfolio?

As for your question:
If you use the “Portfolio Slider” shortcode, your images will display from the categories, which they include. You can not select the only image which you want. The categories, you can add or set up in the “Portfolio”> “Categories”, you can look on this screenshot.
There you can add the new category which late you can select in the shortcode.Screenshot
In the “Portfolio”> “All Portfolios” you can select the categories which you want to your portfolio item, Screenshot

My friend use your’s theme. I’ll try to create any gallery on page’s – but cant. You dont make this function on theme? Like i have my main page and want add gallery on my page between conten like this http://wp.themedemo.co/wiso/metro-overlay/ I can do this? Or this only for a separate page? If i can add it, i’ll buy this theme. Coz it is very important. Themeforest have a lot of good themes, but only few of them give functional to ADD great galleris to any page, not only for portfolio-item-page
And will be speed fix? coz this “loader” and page loading – veeeeeeery slow in comparison with other themes :C

Our theme is very flexible and easy to use. If you will look on your friend theme carefully you will see “Wiso Galery” shortcode. Its the only way you can add the gallery to your page. In another case, you should create a gallery post type but in that case, you will have some limits with adding content. Here you can check our documentation how to use our theme: documentation. There you will find answers to your questions.
According to your question about speed. We do not scale many images on this demo and that’s why page speed is lower than usually. However, all images should be scaled/cached on client’s side. If you will upload plain theme, you will see that page speed is really good.

In “The Grid” the skin ISO is used on the home page “MAIN HOME”. I would like to customise this further but it doesn’t appear as an option in the skin builder. Is this possible?
