I had the mercury theme for a long time and when I updated the theme and my wordpress version, it broke my site. I went through trying to figure out the theme again, but how do I add videos in gallery form again? I’m looking to switch back to mercury.

I figured out this issue, It appears that it was an activated plugin causing the theme settings to not load.
Hello, I have been trying to use the Mercury theme again for the past year. When I activate the theme again, and go into wordpress and click theme setting, the mercury theme setting page comes up. Every tab that I click on is either blank or I can’t interact with what its showing. I will attach images of the issue. I understand how to navigate the theme for the most part, it wasn’t until I updated the theme and updated to the newest version of wordpress that this issue occurred (a year ago) I have now once again decided to try and use the Mercury theme again and updated to the latest version of wordpress that is current as of 1/06/2019 and I have installed Mercury 2.1. I still am unable to interact with the theme settings. How can I fix this issue? Or is this theme unusable at this point? I understand that I have expired support, but I’m hoping that this is a simple fix with a simple answer since I’ve had this theme since 2015. I would like to be able to use it again and keep it on my website for years to come. It worked perfectly when it worked and as a Director/Cinematographer I didn’t need a lot of bells and whistles for my site. Do I need to repay for 6 months of support to get an answer as to why the theme doesn’t work anymore?

It seems like you are using 3rd party plugin or modify core theme code especially in CSS files embedding code which causes the issue.
Please try to disable all plugins or remove any code change. It should fix the issue.

You could setup cache plugin on your site. It will help improving loading speed.

Does it include bulk photo importer for woo-commerce ? Each single photo should be imported as separate product in order for me to be usable.

I am using the Mercury theme for photographers. I installed an SSL-certificate in order to secure my website. However, when I visit the website I get the message: The page at ‘https://paardenfotoshoots.nl/’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet ‘http://fonts.googleapis.com/css? etc.
I changed the http into https in the editor (css/screen.css), but this doesn’t seem to solve the problem.
What to do?

Please check “gg_font…” file in theme /cache folder. It’s broken or missing on your server.

Hi there! I have been using your theme for several yeasr now and first of all great job! I have a little probelm with teh service on my page www.livingdreams.tv. They only show at 40px wide, and I found your comment to a similar question here in the forum where you advised to change the dimensions in /css/screen.css find ”.service_icon img” and change its max-width and margin-top values, which I did, but nothing happened. Is there something else I need to do in order to fill the whole circle? I also regenerated thumbnails but it didn’t help either.. Thanks and all the best, Tom

Why do you claim you will provide support on purchased wp theme if you can’t deliver that kind of service? After almost one month I did not get any feedback from theme developers!
Here is my issue: Using mouse scroll on my web page will scroll whole page and gallery at the same time, but on your demo web page (http://themes.themegoods.com/mercury/demo/fullwidth-post-with-gallery/) mouse scroll will move only gallery (left-right) or page (up-down) depending on the position in which mouse pointer it is located. This problem is also reported on private ticket, after 3 weeks I did not receive any answer regarding to this topic. I don’t understand concept of your “Support - 5 months left”. Hi, Our website is currently based on a theme called Vignette from CSSIgniter. It came with its own plugins and settings. We want to remove it and change our theme to Mercury. Is it possible to switch to your theme by just deactivating the old one and activating yours? Or we have to install your theme on a fresh installation of WP and basically start from scratch?

Unfortunately I think you will have to start from scratch since they are 2 totally different platforms.
OK. workaround is to take layer slider off homepage. This is not acceptable, but at least my homepage is no longer blank. Pls advise.
(1) Home Page now blank. From comments this is an issue with Layer Slider.
(2) Downloaded Merc 2.0. How to upgrade without wiping out all my customizations? WP says “All themes up to date”

The theme is not fully compatible with latest version of WPML anymore because some jQuery plugins are outdated. For instance the jquery.slider (/functions/jquery.slider-min.js) will cause exception TypeError: d.settings.value is undefined when access WPML admin. Please update jquery plugins to latest version. I’ve been using this theme for a while now and so far have been very happy with it. However, LayerSlider is suddenly creating problems, causing my entire homepage to only display the menu instead of the layerslider and everything set up in the content builder! Sidebars also stopped being displayed because of the Layerslider in them.
I saw someone else (kreattivamente) has the same issue and there must be others… The LayerSlider WP plugin version provided in your last update is version 6.2.2, while the most recent version is 6.6.5! When is there going to be an update for the plugin? I’m forced to disable the Layersliders throughout my website now and change the entire look of my website.

Hi , in social profiles i’m trying to add my youtube channel, when I add the channel url it generate wrong url, as youtube has a new channel URLs path youtube.com/c/channelUserName but the theme generates the url as youtube.com/user/GivenUserName though it ends up with not found page.
