Certificate should be created and uploaded by the teacher or school itself. It’s impossible to make a general template of the course, as topics of the courses are limitless.

Yes, with demo import you will lose your current content. If you don’t want to do that, you should just install our theme without importing anything.

Thanks for the real quick response! Is this a multi-author platform where users can register as Students or Course providers, and users can view list of courses available, while course providers can list services they want to provide?

Yes, that’s exactly the point behind LMS theme. Students need to purchase the course, before taking part in it.
You can try loggin with test/test credentials now, we just reset database.

Go to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager and choose “Custom” from the first dropdown. Then mark all boxes and hit Save at the bottom https://www.screencast.com/t/gZnpjaW8VS

You should only be able to change separator’s color, from Elated Options > General > First Main Color. That will change color for some additional elements in the theme as well.

Our theme works on a principle that user is required to go through checkout process in order to see and learn from any course. You can always upload your book as a downloadable item, so that people can buy it one-time. As far as we know, subscription option is not included in Academist, but perhaps you can try to achieve this with some 3rd party plugin.

There’s no default option to change “Apply Now” button’s functionality, but this can be easily achieved with some additional jQuery, which our support team can help you with.
For user to see any course, even free one, he must go through checkout process. User isn’t billed anything, however the checkout must be respected. It’s like that on all our LMS themes and can’t be changed, unfortunately.

When it comes to front-end, user registration is needed only if you set an option in WooCommerce for user to register before purchase. Otherwise, registration is not necessary.

Hi, I’m in love with the theme and am considering a purchase. I would like to build a landing page for an existing LMS. I have two questions: 1) Is is possible to merge different parts of the demos into one custom design? For example, to substitute the slider on the ‘main home’ demo with the top section of the ‘courses home’? 2) Will I be able to add a Single Sign On (SSO) code, that allows our learners to sign in on the landing page, to be redirected to the LM platform?

1. Yes, this is actually what we want from our users, to combine different home pages and create unique layout. On the other hand, you can always use import entire demo content and change pre-defined appearance to your desire.
2. LMS system works so that all courses are either free to download or user should purchase some. You can always provide your users possibility to register or to force them to register before purchase.
