1. In the header navigation > layout related tab of the Salient options panel, disable the option for “Full Width Header”. However to create an overlap like shown in your example URL would require some custom modding

2. You can add a phone number through a text widget in Appearance > widgets

The line is set to 100% height of the entire parent container element for each list item. Therefore new css logic would be required. Here’s an example:

Hey Micatuca,

In the Salient options panel > general settings > functionality tab you can switch your theme lightbox to “fancybox3” to remove the related videos from displaying at the end. In regards to forcing the video to keep looping, that unfortunately would require custom JS modding as of now

This site is going live today and the aforementioned issue is still causing us problems. We have a video that should be pening up in a lightbox. It plays on Desktops, plays on iPads but will not play on mobiles. Do you know what this could be?

Yeah. I found that option. But I’m only talking about the add to cart buttons that appear on the shop and category pages (or related products, etc), and only when you hover over the product tiles. Those buttons are not working with Flywheel’s default caching. Any chance you could reach out to them and work with them to figure out why? The normal WooCommerce “add to cart” buttons on the product pages work just fine.

Hey FiddlerStudios, the core add to cart button functionality is handled all by WooCommerce rather than Salient itself – have you done a quick test to verify that the issue you’re facing with them only occurs with Salient active?

Yeah, we’ve done extensive testing. With caching off, everything is fine. But with caching on, only those hover-based buttons stop working. It’s very strange, and I recognize that they just hit the “add to cart” URL for the product, but for some reason they fail to add to cart, where the normal WC add to cart buttons work fine. Flywheel is testing further and will likely figure out a way to make their caching work with the theme. But something is at least slightly different, causing them not to work with their current caching. I thought you might cast some light or point them to exactly how it works, and therefore what might be causing the issue….

I’m doing a redesign so it’s only local right now. You should be able to easily recreate with a full width layout and wide masonry images. If you can’t I’ll send a link when it’s up. Let me know. I’ll just patch it for now.

That’s not possible with the page full screen rows option, however you could instead turn that off and simply use the “Full height row?” checkbox on each individual page builder row. That will allow the same design, but allow for normal scrolling

Thanks for getting back to me The specific reason is that I can’t setup a regular row to function like that with a transparent header nav in the portfolio pages. See example attached: https://prnt.sc/kyfqjg

To be honest, not being able to use transparent header navigation in my single portfolio pages (unless I use a page header) is a bit annoying and preventing me from using your theme in more of my projects. Currently, there’s no way to have a single portfolio page with transparent header and a fullscreen image/video with a play button, for instance. I would need to embed the play button into the page header text fields, which breaks the wordpress edit page. Same if you need to have a small paragraph as I was originally mentioning. Apart from those small things, your Salient theme is absolutely perfect

Are you adding any tags into the subtitle text area for your paragraph? The field should allow as many words as you enter (although it would get hard to edit since the field is small) – however it’s not capable of storing HTML or quote tags since it’s a standard text input. I’ve also noted the idea on the wishlist to allow the transparent header on projects for a custom top level row setup as well

If you’re trying to place a slider above your blog, instead of setting “Your homepage displays: Your latest posts” in Settings > reading, change it to “Your homepage displays: A static page” and select your custom built page with the slider added and blog element below it.
