I recently switched my theme over to Basel and I love it! I worked on it for a while, each time I had a question or issue, I contacted support and they answered my question or resolved my issue. I am incredibly grateful for the awesome support they provide. I understand that support is in another country from me and that it might take 24 hours or so to get an answer back but they have been very responsive.
The theme is easy to work with, once I figured out. I wish that I would have launched my store with Basel months ago. We are a small nonprofit and all the products we sell support our clean water and sustainability programs in Kenya. The store is https://shop.justoneafrica.org. Thanks guys for a great theme!

For the description, you need change it by go to our file collection_grid.liquid and move the description from top to bottom, it will need you have a bit knowledge base for coding to understand our code

Because I enabled categories in page header for the collection page without any link list, and cover it with header by using margins. But in this way, header is either white or black on collection pages, when I pick a color for header background, then homepage header also gets that color.
Is there any option to customize the mobile view separately? (Especially the homepage carousel)

Yes you will be able to make changes with css, For speed you can check our demo, Its good but Nitro Slider app uses some extra resources but you can use simpleslider and our theme speed will be much much better
I am not able to get my Mailchimp popup to work with this theme. I had the popup working with my shopify free theme, but have not been able to get it to work at all with Basel.

Hello, First rarely have we been that disappointed by a theme here. The theme is totally not intuitive or user-friendly. Every single setting needs extra or multiple steps compared to other Shopify themes. Nonetheless, we are forced to just try and make it work. How to get rid of the revolution slideshow and instead just use a normal simple slider with buttons like every other theme out there? at least this option could have been added instead of forcing buyers to use the revolution one which needs an extra amount of effort to go master the associated app which by the way does not work properly at all. Impossible to change the background image of the provided sliders or do anything with this app. A simple slider would take two clicks to install the images and be done with it. The options for the sidebar are also very limited. How do you restrict only certain categories to be shown or get subcategories to be shown as a drop-down under the main one? Overall very confusing theme so far. just want clarifications before we just abandon it altogether and review it.
