This theme is by far the most confusing Mikado ever made.
No posts are showing up in the caroussel frontpage, i tried to use the custom ones and the regular posts. What the hell am I doing wrong. How do you get your posts in the carrousel?? I am very close rating this theme a 1 star for the first time I would ever do that to any WP theme I used. But nothing seem to work properly or is very confusing to make it work properly.

Are you referring to the carousel at the top (right after header) of the homepage on our demo ? If yes, we have used blog slider shortcode for that https://www.screencast.com/t/RHvaeBB6kz
It uses regular posts, so make sure each of your posts have featured image set.

Still does not work. no matter what I try and mentioned above. regular posts with feature images – no go , custom ones . – no go – nothing works.
And I already wrote 2 additional tickets to other issues.

Nothing works in the theme and template. Every time I try to modify a page it goes straight to the post list and does not change the post. the import gets stuck at 90%. I cannot use the theme for any purpose at this stage. Reinstalled twice with no luck. I submitted a ticket as well. please fix the theme properly.

Each destination item could be created using WPBakery page builder https://www.screencast.com/t/y6vGW4pOXXr So, you could add desired stuff in content of Destination, but also there are custom fields we implemented : https://www.screencast.com/t/L4ZZ7L3YP74x https://www.screencast.com/t/E7KX8gPmn So, for example instead of “things to see” from our sidebar https://www.screencast.com/t/5orQ2bMaD you could add “Food to Try/Best dishes” or something like that and link to associated post. And each post could be assigned to any destination https://www.screencast.com/t/YyGnAIPr8XDW So, inside post content you could add anything you want, including recopies, restaurants & food info that are related to that destination. Support - waiting on manual demo installation. Two additional questions - is there a planned update that will fix the issue with the demo installation? I would hate to have to keep waiting for support to install it each time i’d like to install a new domain. Is there an alternative method of install?

4. The headers have this unique menu item (destinations) that is not showing on the app/mobile. Is this just a normal WP menu placement or is this somehow unique? All I would need to do is add it to a mobile menu.

for 1 I was referring to the map markers. The red dots that mark the items that have content. The Feature Destinations red marks for posts and pages on the Maps.
for 4 I was asking about the menu item on the left side of the header that shows destinations. I see now from your screenshots that there is a top bar area. Cool.

Thank you for taking interest in Backpack Traveler. Yes, you could choose any desired font from the Google Fonts list, or to add your own additional. Please, check this screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/PZVd8W5GYy When it comes to attachments from our demo site, you’ll get all media files included after demo import. Please, note that some of those image are bought on ShutterStock, so if you want to use the same you’ll need to purchase your licences, but most of them are from Unsplash, so you could use those images for free. If there is any other doubt, we are here.
