Hi. My question is regarding passwords while employers/candidates registration at the job board. As you recommended before – I’ve set up Woocommerce option at registration settings of the website. Now when a users tries to register as a candidate or an employer the system asks to set the password that should be at least 12 characters long. 12 characters for a password at a job board – it is too long and inconvenient… Do you know how to let users to use shorter passwords?

Most of the fields are from WPJM plugin so textdomain will be ‘wp-job-manager’, few extras from workscout are ‘workscout’

Disable the Page Builder plugin on your Plugins Lists, and in Appearance -> Install Plugins click update on that plugin, and activate again

Hi, I have encountered a rather strange issue on my site. There are some jobs that show on the map and some dont. I am talking about the “browse jobs” page. All jobs are added the exact same way and get their LAT and LONG. The small map on the “single job post” page always shows the marker exactly where it is supposed to be. I am not talking about the overlay issue. One job is in Berlin the other in Italy. Also, no search or filtering is applied and all jobs are active.

Yes because the map is dynamic, it shows the search results. You can enable all jobs map in Customize -> Maps Options, this map will display all your jobs on map regardless of what’s on the results lists

Also have you heard back from the developer of the job Manager regarding the issue with the categories filter in the backend not working yet?

It’s a bit hard to debug but try to add to your Additional CSS in Customize this:

}
should fix the issue.

Hello, I would like to ask if the theme is compatible with WPML for translations or in general how I will be able to translate the site in 2 other languages. It’s not fully compatible with WPML, I’ve seen some WorkScout based pages using this but not without any problems. For resumes you need Resume Manager add-on https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/resume-manager/

I have a few themes that have support and some that don’t. Not all on the same page yet, but will get there – meantime 2 things:
1) How do I update the WPBakery Page Builder. Still on 5.4.7 and have been waiting on some type of update? How do I get?
2) Jobs (WPJM) Settings: have filters set to yes, but not displaying jobs. Shows nothing. Set filters to False and the jobs appear. I need yes. Is there a way to fix?
Not sure which account I am on, but if its not paid support, I will purchase. I have 5 themes with separate logins, etc.

ad1. Latest WorkScout update has WPBakery 5.5.2 included. You have to update theme to be able to update plugin

sorry for not replying earlier but we had a lot of tickets after weekend. GDRP compliance means that if user request his data removal, it will be removed with all the data stored by WorkScout and WP Job Manager.

1. The admin of the sait will be the Employer and only candidates will be able to register. Now when you register there is a option for Employer and Candidate.
Which way will be the easiest to accomplish that ( only candidates to register ) ? To change the order in the registration.php file ( by default Employer is first ) and after that to hide that option using cs?
2.The website will be only in English and I want to change all “job” words to some other word. Can I do that with poedit ?

ad1. You can already change the order in Customise -> Login/Registration Options, it’s one of the last options I think.

how people get to that page? If you have it in menu just delete it form menu, there’s no other wa y (I think) to get to this page if it’s not linked anywhere (except if someone directly would open /shop but why would he)
Anyway, I don’t know if it’s possible to hide shop page without actually disabling the plugin

I think a way to do it is to deselect the default Shop page in WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Shop page

I’m not sure I understand, footer is at the end of the page so how can it cover whole web page? The size of footer depends on it’s content and what widgets you’ve added there (you can control that in Appearance -> Widgets)

Hi, the woocommerce resonsive layout for products shown under a category is not right, it is showing 3 products wide on desktop, which looks fine but mobiles it is doing the same and is too small, can you provide the code so that it shows 2 wide on ipads and 1 wide on mobiles please?

Hi, is there a way of making the menu system that shows over the transparent header a differnt color to the main sticky header menu system please?
As you are able to have differnt logo on the transparent header I think it flow nicer if the menu can be a different color as well?

Hi, you mentioned that you can have a tranparent header on pretty well most of the website, I have a few listings for one company and when I click on the logo to show all listings for that company the header is not transparent and I do not appear to be able to edit the header of that page?

for single listing it’s set separately in each listing settings, but I can modify files for you to enable it on all listings.
Hi, I know each listing allows you to add a different image to the head, but I am referring to the page for that particular company that would show all listings for that company, it seems once you create a listing and add a company name it then creates a page that is not accessible within the system /company/hsbcbank for example.
Is there a way I can get to the pages that are stored under /company/ please?
No, those are dynamically created by the plugin, but like I said I can edit that template file to enable the transparent header there (but it would be one file for all headers)
