After the switch, your theme’s inbuilt SEO has taken over the titles and meta descriptions – is there a way to disable this? Unfortunately on checking, it still doesn’t result in our standard SEO plugin working, as it’s simply defaulting to the meta tag parameters within the theme. All of the tags we are setting for title, description, robots, etc are being ignored.

We may not have expressed the problem in the best way. Basically, we are trying to use URL rewrite logic (based on htaccess and WordPress API). For some reason, when KidsZone theme is disabled, our rewrites work perfectly fine, but when we enable the theme, our rewrites stop working as if some code in the theme interferes with them. So our question is – could you let us know where and how you use URL rewrites in the theme, so we can figure out why it interferes with what we are trying to accomplish. Thank you in advance.

The Visual Composer plugin works with only newly created pages and not with the dummy pages that are created using the “Import Option” . Instead you can use the sample layouts module, which will build the home pages, about us page, etc as our demo in page builder.

You can always edit the demo contents with our theme built page builder and shortcodes. The only thing you cannot do is that, you cannot edit it with Visual Composer plugin, since visual composer was just added as free addon years after the initial release of the theme.
