1. Have you Customize the blocks and checkout pages in the Parent/Main Theme files ?? If yes then those changes would be disappear and if you did Customization in the Child Theme then those changes will not be lost when you will update the Theme and if you already lose those changes then there is only one way to make it appear again and it is the backup of your site, so please contact your hosting provider and ask your hosting provider if your server has your site backup then run that backup.

Yes, if i create a product and link with a href html tags one image in another site(from distributors site), i just dont know how those pictures ended in my Media gallery? In previous themes almost same plugins added only the loaded product picture on media gallery, but now there is all pictures including the linked ones.

And, the funny part is, if i go on the product page, it loads the images fron distributors site. so the images are unused in my gallery. Its fun to remove those things manual when there is about 40 000 images

Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Header Type and choose header type 3 or 19 as per your requirements and save changes, these two header types by default have a layout/structure to showing cart in the Top Header, otherwise if you want to use any other header header type then you have to make it possible with the help of Customization.

You will find all the header types files under wp-content/themes/porto/header.

Please enable curl extension form server this will fix your issue. This extension is required for the registration process.

Or

The issue mostly occurs when the server has any kind of restriction and do not allow to communicate your server with our internal server for activation, so please ask your hosting provider to remove all sorts/kinds of restrictions from your account and deactivate the firewalls for some time until you activate the theme. Otherwise please try/test the theme on any other test server hope you will not find an issue.
