I will consider adding the subscription feature to this theme, but I do not plan on widgetizing the footer since visitors rarely see the footer, so loading more information there would only slow the site down, and for little to no benefit.

Good idea for the footer and adding a styled newsletter would be a cool feature.

You can download the latest version of the theme via your Themeforest profile page in the Downloads section. Please make sure you select the “All files & documentation” option when downloading your files and then follow the instructions in the documentation for updating your theme.

What exactly is that site sharing via Whatsapp? The phone number for the site? I’m just not clear on what a Whatsapp button would be for if not to share a post. In other words, there’s a difference between the social sharing buttons and the links to social pages. I’m not sure what a Whatsapp link to a social page would be for.

I still do plan on implementing the same feature in Zox News, but there is no timetable for the implementation and I can’t guarantee that it will even be implemented at this point.

You are seeing the update error because the plugin developer removed the plugin from Themeforest. I am in contact with the developer and will be including an updated version of the plugin very soon, but until then, the most recent version of the plugin should work just fine.
