When was the last time Font Awesome was updated in the theme? I’m trying to use some sports ball icons and cannot get them to work. I think I’ve narrowed the problem down to Font Awesome not being up to date. Can that please be in the next theme update? Thanks!

I have a client who is wanting to use the UFarm demo (I’m assuming that is a child theme) but they feel some pages on their site might need a different layout to what is provided in that demo, so I was wondering if layout from other demos can be used along with the UFarm demo – from your response I am gathering that they can’t – is that correct?
Are all the demos provided when the theme is purchased? Or are they purchased separately?
Yes, all the demos can be imported and none of them are “child” theme, they are simply set up with the parent theme.
What you can do is set up a sandbox site on a side to test out or import various demos and you can then see how those pages you’re interested were built and use them in your final site.

How do I load the Demo pages into the site? My client wants to use UFarm for the homepage and Fluid for internal pages. How do I do this?
Just use the demo Wizard to import any of the demos. You can access it at any time from “U-Design -> Import Demo Data” page. Keep in mind that this will import the entire demo not just a single page.

Thanks. I did manage to load the Ustore demo. My client is wanting the following layout used on other pages: https://dreamthemedesign.com/themes/u-design/fluid-page-example/ is it possible to load this AND still use the Ustore Demo on their homepage?

480 is the smallest breakpoint. It is carefully selected to server for most mobile devices. Unfortunately, we don’t offer a breakpoint smaller than that. You could always switch to the “Responsive Menu 1” option instead.

On my Android LG cell phone I do not see the hamburger menu. Also someone else is reporting the same issue on their Samsung Galaxy S9.

In dev tools in Chrome, under 480px I lose the hamburger menu. Is it possible to get a fix for this?

No I do not see the issue there. I suspect it may be resolved once we update the theme. The current theme version is old and I will be updating today. I will report back once we update. Thank you

I appreciate that you updated the html in the latest version of the theme. However, the banner about plugins that we don’t even use, and which persists on every page no matter how many times we close or dismiss it, is seriously annoying. Why bother putting a dismiss link on it that doesn’t work?

thanks for the feedback.
The dismiss link on the message works, but there is an issue with caching with WP Rocket plugin, it’s not the theme trust me it’s that plugin or perhaps another means you have of caching. So try disabling that plugin and then try dismissing and see if it works then.
The dismiss link is part of the TGMPA class (http://tgmpluginactivation.com/) which all themes on ThemeForest must use, so this would not be unique to my theme, but as I said nothing wrong with the dismissal link the culprit here is caching.

it is one license per one domain/site. The theme supports RTL.
I would suggest you test out the theme on one site and make you like it before buying it for all sites.

That “First Byte Time” is related to my hosting I think and DNS resolution, nothing I can do about it.
You’ll find that a theme can only do so much you will have to do a lot of the optimizations like optimizing your images in your content. Install one or more in some cases caching and/or performance plugins for WordPress which can significantly help you improve scores.

Feel free to use those formats in your content. As far as the theme’s tiny graphics, etc. I’ll stick to the well supported by all browser formats for now until the above mentioned formats are widely supported. At this time the browser support is awful:

Hello – I purchased this theme a while ago and I downloaded the most recent version. I used the import wizard button to upload everything for the shop but when I look at the shop it missing quite a lot of things and is not exactly as the demo. So I go to the alternative import method and it takes me to a page which asks me to put my verified envato password to ensure I am a member so I do that. Then your page says “The password you entered is incorrect.”

why is the sticky menu bar not supported by this theme. I want to be able to lock my nav menu as a user scrolls down my page

I paid to have the Web made. I did not know anything about web matters. He who gave it to me gave it to me and I paid, but never more have I seen it or know where it is.

whomever paid for the license they should be able to update it, are you saying you are no longer in touch with the person that did the site for you? You should contact them as most likely they purchased the license for the theme and can assess updates.
Once the theme is purchased, future updates are free with that account, so unfortunately the way ThemeForest.net is setup only the owner of that account can have access to the theme that was originally purchased.
If you’re not in touch with the person that purchased the theme originally, it would be impossible to get updates without a valid license.
In general, it’s best for the person who owns the website to have purchased their own license of the theme, that way they will be independent of anyone maintaining their website for future updates or access to support since a valid license is required to register in the support forum.

If I buy the udesign theme for my website does the fee include wpbaker plugin and the use of the theme on one site? If I want to change my other site to udesign, do I need to purchase another licence? I’m not designing for anyone, I just have two websites for my business.

yes WPBakery Page Builder is included with the theme.
In general the ThemeForest theme licensing requires that you purchase an individual license for each domain you’re going to install the theme under.

No, is not working. I have vers. 2.14.0. I removed completly the entire theme, use default wp theme and uploaded last version. Same results – a blank page..
Just because it’s not working in your case doesn’t mean it’s not working in general, it is the most reliable method. I don’t exclude the possibility that you are doing something wrong, I’ve seen people dump the entire theme folder at the WordPress root folder and completely breaking their site, so whatever that you’re doing isn’t working for you I’m sure there is a good reason for that.
If you want me to have a look, please email me 2 things:
1 ) Admin access to your WordPress site (you could create an account for me just make sure to make me an administrator)
2 ) FTP access to your server
