Hi,
I’m happy with Avada and going for another purchase I think, but I have 2 questions for my new project:
1. How can I sort products in tabs? There is a “fusion_products_slider” under tabs and I want to show random products in there (or let me choose the products to show.)
2. How can I create a recent products carousel and top selling products carousel?Thanks.

1. You can not choose products manually to appear on slider, this is only possible if you plan on adding all the required products to a specific category and then add that category to slider.
2. This is not an option with WooCommerce available shortcodes, you will need to customize it and create your own shortcode in this case or use a 3rd party plugin instead.

Hey! I have found an issue….in the counter boxes item the numbers will count only up to the thousands. If I enter 10 millions, just 10 thousands will come out. How can I fix it?

Right now we do not have any in-house live chat feature implemented into Avada however there are many third party plugins available for this. We have not officially tested any particular third party live chat plugin with our theme so cannot give you a solid suggestion here. We suggest you to look into WordPress plugin directory for this.

Is it hard to take designs from other themes and implement them into Avada? I have a Woocommerce site, and I think there are other themes which cater more to Woocommerce design than Avada, but I like the reliability of Avada and its update support. Would it be hard to take the look of the cart/checkout/product pages from another theme and make Avada look the same? I know it would be a custom job. I’m just wondering if this is feasible to do and if it would cause issues when updating the theme. Thanks.

Every theme has its own design layout when it comes to WooCommerce and Avada has its own, we have given our users the freedom to change colors and choose from 2 different layouts when it comes to WooCommerce however regarding the basic layout of pages, if you want to change that customisation will be required and also the need of child theme so when a new update comes your edits remain untouched. It is doable for sure but it will indeed take you to customize the code.

The menu background color can be controlled by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard > Avada > Theme Options > Header > Header styling,Screenshot here (please ensure you have opacity to 0)

The burger icon on my mobile menu no longer appears. I just have a box with an X in it. The menu still works.
The same goes for the social media icons in my footer on mobile and desktop.
I haven’t changed anything on my website in a long time apart from doing the updates through wordpress.

Clearing the cache didn’t work and now the option is to spend $44 on renewing support so you can fix your theme that stops working out of the blue? What a joke.

We have no such issues with our theme, from what you mentioned it looks like your FontAwesome icons are not loading at all, can you please double check your console in this case and see if you have any specific errors there? if you see CORS related error please follow the instructions here => https://bit.ly/2Rbv7bg

That didn’t work either.
I figured out that if I enter https:// before my website everything works as it should. The issue is with SSL.
Stackoverflow suggets removing href from the link to the font awesome css file. Can you tell me where the link to the font awesome css is located in your theme and how to make the change.

hello, I have around 20 websites using the avada theme without problems, but today i migrated a site to a customers own hostingserver. Now i have a problem with fusion core plugin. If i enable it, i get a lot of code on my homepage. If ik disable the fusion core plugin, everything seems to work. I have never had this probplem before.

Thanks for replying to me My support has expired. I finished my website, I just noticed my contact page is not working on mobile. I have loaded the original contact page without changing anything and still not working I just need this fix. This should actually be 1 single column for you and not 3 columns on mobile, it appears this is causing due to some 3rd party plugin CSS, please check all your 3rd party plugins or any other custom CSS inside Theme Options. If however the issue persist do open a support ticket and our team will further check this out.

Just wanted to say that I had been a big admirer of your theme for a long time. Had referred it to many of our clients over the years but I have no idea what you have done to it but I can’t stand working with it anymore. Had a client come to us looking for help with it for a simple forum and was having problems with your theme. I thought how could this be, they have such an easy theme once you figure out all the theme options that a person can change, which was from what I remembered was a lot. So we pulled out our copy and got an update of the theme. Got it on our test server an got to work. At first it was the old theme that I enjoyed with so many great ways to change it to meet whatever needs that I required. Loaded up your forum demo with full content and everything. So far so good and it was looking great. Than we needed to make some simple changes to the header in look and color to meet the needs of the client. WOW…what a pain that was. We made changes in the theme options and went back to the page and nothing changed. OK, what are we doing wrong? Is there a cache problem somewhere? An hour later we can’t find one and all is good so it must be with the CSS. Why is it pulling from a different CSS and only some of the pages are being changed and not others? Ok, so now we have to make changes to two different CSS Style Sheets and why are things not updating across the whole site? Well the problems went on and on until we had wasted about 6 hours of back and forth and I called it…time to just move on to a different theme.

We can assure you that the new/latest version does not prevent the changing of theme options in any manner(that would be highly counterproductive for our user base). The header color and the color of the menu item should change with ease. You can see this happening in our temporary video here

Like I had said before in my post. We had NEVER had a problem with your theme before and have had more than 20 + clients purchase your theme. We loved it, it was such a dream for our clients to use. They would often say why other themes were not designed as wonderfully as yours.
Yes we had gone through all the cache options from your “Reset fusion caches”, cache plugin, browser caches, to flashing our own computers DNS.
We even tried it on another computer and different browsers, Firefox and Opera.
We also went through and removed, not just deactivated but removed, plugins that were not required.
We had a single install of WordPress and your theme with nothing more than a downloaded copy of your forum demo.
We also just went into custom CSS and made changes right there and still it would not change a single page… We thought we were going to lose our mind.
We have already installed another theme and setup their forum for them. Which only took us from a clean install and uploading content and configuring the theme, about 2 hours.
We have another client who is wanting a multi-site install and asked us about using your theme for their main site. Not to use it for multi-site installs, just for their main and use other themes for the other sites.
We told them that this theme was not setup for multi-site but we didn’t see why it wouldn’t work for the main on a multi-site install. Were we wrong in this assessment? And the point I am making is, we are willing to give it another go on their website and see if we have anymore problems but for right now. No, we have moved on to another theme for our client, Thank you anyway.

Clearly, if you made changes and the changes are not reflected on the front end then either there is an issue or it is simply cache related. Why at that point did you not contact our support? If you are struggling with something, why work on assumption?

Was the CSS formulated correctly? Was cache in use? Did you contact support?
Regarding Avada and a WordPress multisite setup. This is a WP multisite setup -> https://avada.theme-fusion.com/ – what is it that makes you think Avada cannot work on a WP multisite setup?

Yes for one we knew there had to be a problem somewhere, we just didn’t understand how something so simple could be causing such problems.
We had made changes to the caches like we said and nothing changed with the color or fonts of the menus no matter where we made those changes. But we ASSUMED that it had to be something dealing with with a setting or a CSS that was created by the loading of the demo. Because when things like the changing of the header to 1, 2 or whatever number were made and than those changes saved, we could than go back to the page refresh and those changes were made. But NOT to the font or color of the headers or menus…
We did not contact support because we were working with a fresh copy we downloaded using this account and our support for this theme had run out.
We looked around through the comments hoping to find something on the problems we were having. Thinking that you all must have added something new or you just complicated this wonderful theme to the point where we have to make changes some place other than where we had always made them….
So NO we did not contact you and YES we did ASSUME that the theme had gone to hell when we have used this theme in the past and never had such problems…
