I’m not sure why, but the product carousel isn’t working properly. It loads up some product information but doesn’t autoplay, nor are there any navigation buttons on either side. I’ve just updated the theme and plugins to the latest versions, thinking that might be an issue, but its still not working.

Doh! It was me! Just realised that it’s working on mobile, which only shows two columns. That was the clue I needed. Checked the settings again and I had set 6 products and six columns, so obviously it wouldn’t scroll!
Quick question though, how does it select the products? Is it by date added or some other method?

Hello, I am thinking of buying your theme for an X-rated adult site. I wanted to ask in advance if your support team will have any issues in viewing a site with adult content if I need help. To be more specific, it will be a gay site with explicit images and videos of nude men, all legal content of course. Yes, we have an advanced panel in our theme features where you can turn off different features of our themes such as scripts from YouTube, Google and ETC and also our elements from Fusion Builder that you do not want to use can be disabled from Fusion Builder Settings

There is an issue with the ACF Pro plugin on the current version. If you have a Date Picker in a repeater, it stops forms being submitted as it tries to validate an empty required hidden input.
Please make Avada use the latest ACF Pro which has a fixed applied.

A few questions before I decide to purchase:
1. Is there an out of the box option to use Typekit?
2. Can I, INSIDE the builder as an element wrapper, insert php code? For example, an IF element that will display content only when the PHP evaluation is true? (these evals cannot be put inside the template and cannot be done with JS)
3. I am missing rounded border options for almost any element, or am I overlooking that? I will need to use that extensively and do not want to code that every time.

1) Natively the theme doesn’t have an option to add/select Typekit fonts. This can, however, be done using the theme options to add custom scripts in the header. I have made a video to let you see how this works. Temporary video link here
2) I am afraid that is not quite possible.
3) Certain elements do provide an option for this but this is not present in every element in the theme

Hi! First of all thanks for this sublime theme. However, i have three questions before buying it ! Both of them are about the grid 100% for portfolio. The page is actually not full width, and we can see there are two padding 30px left and right for the div class “fullwidth fullwidth-box hundred-percent-fullwidth non-hundred-percent-height-scrolling”. Is it possible to change the css in order to make the page full width? Also, for the 2-6 column grid, there is a menu to chose the category of the portfolio. Is it possible to have this menu on the grid 100%? Finally, on almost every post the breadcrumb is in a big grey full width rectangle, is it possible to not display it? Thanks a lot in advance! 1. Yes, a true 100% width page is definitely possible and you can simply remove that 30px padding from this option in our container => http://prntscr.com/m1h0a8 and then setting the paddings of container to 0px from design tab => http://prntscr.com/m1h0hg
2. Yes, you can have our category filter on any of the portfolio layout, it can simply be activated from this field => http://prntscr.com/m1h21c
3. Yes, that is our Page Title Bar and it can be easily removed by going to Avada > Theme Options > Page Title Bar tab and also from Fusion Options > Page Title Bar area for each specific page or post individually => http://prntscr.com/m1h2j4

Hi again! I have at the moment a site web created with a free theme. I have another domaine where i would like to create my site web with avada, so that my current site web free theme would still be good to use. Then, i would like to change the premium identification of avada from my second site web and pass it to my true site. Is it possible to change it? I suppose there must be an identification number or serial, so that’s why i’m asking if it’s possible to switch that serial from a site to another one. Thanks in advance! LM

Yes, that is a possibility for sure, if you want to migrate your Avada license from one domain to another domain that can be done, however in the end only 1 live site should be using 1 license of Avada.

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.

Regarding Sidebars. To assign a sidebar to a number of posts, en masse? Turning off Global Sidebars for posts obviously removes the sidebars from all previous posts. I would like to then go back in and have as many previous posts have a sidebar without turning Global Sidebar back on.

The Global Sidebar option will always work “globally” for all the posts, however what you can do is simply go ahead and use our Fusion Post Options for each post in this case and change the sidebar there.

If you’re suggesting that I go to each individual post to change the sidebar then yes, I know that. Thus the point of my asking if it can be done en masse. Mainly because Avada treats my CPT as if it were a regular post. I want a different sidebar on my CPTs. Going in and changing things on hundreds if not thousands of posts is a not a viable option for me.

Run away as fast as you can. This theme will break your WordPress site. It does not work out of the box and cripples your site. Worst theme I have ever tried to use! Asked for a refund and got blown off!

I have installed and used dozens of themes with no issue and no need to contact support to get it to work. I installed your theme, the WordPress back end started crawling and timing out. I followed the trouble shooting steps on your support site deactivating plugins etc. to no effect. I deactivated your theme used another one, site is running just fine.

Hello, Avada’s treatment of Custom Post Types appears to be lop-sided. When assigning Global Sidebars to Posts it considers my CPT as a post and forces it to use that chosen sidebar…which, okay, I can understand if your theme doesn’t want to include CPTs in the options. But then, when assigning the Recent Posts Widget to a location it only shows actual posts and excludes the previously mentioned CPT.

But when it comes to the former of what I mentioned: The Sidebars and custom posts. Will you guys be doing anything in the future that’ll include custom posts within the Avada Options? That way, I can then assign a different sidebar for all of my custom posts.

Hi Avada, I’ve got a problem with the most recent avid update (5.7.2). Somehow, since the installation/update customer can’t checkout anymore (when selecting the payment method and clicking on ‘purchase’ there’s no redirect towards the external/3th party checkout). Since i’m using Avada on different websites I was checking if there are any other differences. The stats are the same on both websites:
-Wordpress: 5.0.2
-Mollie Payments for WooCommerce: 5.0.7
-Woocommerce: 3.5.3
The only noticeable difference is that on the site which is still working i’ve got Avada 5.6.2 and on the site that’s not working i’ve got 5.7.2. Is this a known problem with the 5.7.2. Avada theme and how can I fix this?
Furthermore, i see the following ‘fatal-errors’ in my Mollie/Woocommerce status logs. Maybe this has something to do with the checkout not working? (The errors are only showing for the site where the checkout is not working anymore):

The update to Avada 5.7.2 is seamless, regardless of what older version of the theme you are updating from. The critical errors you are getting is either due to the update not being performed correctly and completed or there are missing files.
Please double check the detailed update instructions and also make sure that Avada, the Fusion Builder, and the Fusion Core plugins have been updated.

This will require you to use a proper directory / listing plugin actually, it is not possible to get this done straight out of the box as Avada is not a listing / directory theme but you can always use 3rd party plugins in this case, we have not officially tested any particular plugin so can not provide you with a solid recommendation at the moment.
