Is there custom CSS that would remove the entire bottom footer and all content and blank space below the main web content (ie. the inventory)
Likely depending how you want it to work exactly, but it would require some customization under Theme Options >> Custom Styling >> Custom CSS and/or the use of a Child Theme.

Hi there, I have installed the theme via FTP however when installing the demo content and it reaches at theme updates where you should log in with Envato im getting the following error message
“Something went wrong while trying to retrieve oauth token: cURL error 7: couldn’t connect to host
Sounds like your web host is blocking the cURL request to the server for some reason. You will need to contact your web host to resolve this and find out why it is being blocked.
I am interested in buying this theme, however I have a question about listing Page. Can I add a publicly available page so that any user can submit a listing ? My requirement is to allow any user to create his own listing.

The plugins should be fully functional and activated under Plugins, however under the Extended License we purchased which allows us to bundle the plugin with the theme, you can not ‘Activate’ a license code for automatic updates if that is what you mean. Thank you for the info. I meant automatic updates. I see by the Slider Revolution – Plugin Activation – Not Activated and WPBakery – I see button ActivateWPBakery Page Builder. I still have a few more questions. 1. How do I add a phone number field to a contact form from WPBakery? 2. How do I overwrite Search text for a search widget?
1. The theme is 100% compatible with Contact Form 7, so you can build your own custom forms using this plugin and then you can set them to override the included forms under Listing Options >> Custom Forms
2. You can customize your listing categories under Listings >> Listing Categories and you can customize the ‘Search Our Inventory’ search widget by editing the page and then editing the Visual Composer widget (hover your mouse over the widget and a green block will appear, then click the pencil icon to edit it)
Thank you, but I mean the name of the Search widget in the footer. And I still do not have a form for a specific vehicle “Email to a Friend Label”. No emails arrive after filling in the form and sending. How do I set it up? It does not even work on “Make an Offer”.
What is your website URL? I’m not exactly sure on which footer search widget you would be referring to.
Regarding the forms, do you receive any emails from WordPress? ie if you try to reset a password on your /wp-admin/ panel, or from other contact forms on the site, etc do you get the email? Or do you not receive any?

Emails from the form are coming to me, but when I send an e-mail from a form from a given vehicle, it will not come. Where can I change the fields in the forms (Make an Offer, Email to a Friend)? Thank you very much.

You can customize where the emails for specific forms are sent under Listing Options >> Email Templates, if you do not specify then the email will default to the WordPress admin email address. If the email address you are entering in the form as the same as the address it is sending to it will not work (as it seems like you are experiencing).
I will also mention in case you need it that you can set the Contact page email address under Theme Options >> Contact Settings >> Contact Email
Regarding removing the listing tabs you can do this under Listing Options >> Single Listing Page >> Content Tabs, just delete the text in the fields you want to remove and leave these fields blank (that will remove them from the Single Listing pages).
In the future you may want to consider opening a Support Ticket if you need further assistance.

I am having a bug with the listing plugin. I’ve added my cars there and put most information in the general information tab. My problem is that the info I’m supplying there isn’t showing up in the automotive listing on the single page. Also would like to know how I can remove the car location tab.
Please open up a Support Ticket with a temporary login and an example URL so we can review the content and why it is not showing up for you.
Regarding removing the Location tab, just go to Listing Options >> Single Listing Page >> Content Tabs and delete the word ‘Location’ from the Location tab. When you save the settings that tab will disappear.
Help. I just renewed support so I could get a few things sorted out, but the support site doesn’t seem to recognize the purchase. I did the reset thing under My Products and it still doesn’t work. Help

Regarding the Automotive Listings update issue, Envato has implemented a rate limiting tactic to force everyone off of their old API and onto a new one. You will need to manually update your theme and plugin to the latest versions, and then AFTER you do that go to Theme Options >> Update Settings and connect your Envato account to the new API. After you do that you should be able to automatically update again going forward. Here are some links to knowledgebase items explaining how to manually update:

Hello there,
I want to add a feature to Automotive Plugin. I want that if the Original Cost is $0 then it shouldn’t show on the screen. If Original Cost is $0 then it should be replaced by the blank space. If it’s $0 then I just want to show Discounted Price, not Original Cost.
There are two costs one is Original and the second one is Discounted. I am treating the Original cost as Down Payment as you can see in the screenshot (https://www.screencast.com/t/duaLUdiN4JW0). I did some customizations in the backend and now the Original cost is Down Payment in some of listing Down Payment is $0. So I don’t want to show $0 I want it to hide automatically.
What should I do for this?

I would like to now if there’s a code we can easily add in the functions.php for these items:
1. Can we make PDF tab hidden if there’s no PDF uploaded?
2. The Location tab only seems to allow one to put in a Latitude and Longitude…is that our only option? We can’t put in an address?
3. Is there a way to make the tabs under the photo gallery not show up if the user doesn’t put any information in there? For example, if they don’t put anything under Other Comments tab, can we make it just not show up or is that not possible?
4. Is there a way to control the Print this Vehicle template? For example if you click on it, it shows a broken image link under for Location as one issue

Did you connect your Envato account? You can do this under My Products and that should enable you to open a support ticket. If you have done that and are still having issues please send an email to support@themesuite.com so we can assist you further with getting that sorted out.

2. Yes, to display a Google Map you need to have the latitude and longitude. You can get this off of Google Maps. If you would prefer to disable this tab you can also do that.
3. It would take some customization to hide the tabs based on content being present or not. You can customize or hide the tabs under Listing Options >> Single Listing Page >> Content Tabs (just delete the text if you want to hide it)
4. Once you sort out your Google Map issue this should sort itself out, but you can disable this under Listing Options >> Single Listing Page >> PDF Brochure
Hello. Our attorney has informed us we need to display a price expiration date for each car in our inventory. I don’t see a setting for this in the Listings fields. Is there a setting already created for this that you can point me to? if not, what would be the simplest method to integrate the date without compromising the ability to update the theme?
The simplest method would be just to create a listing category for it under Listings >> Listing Categories

I tried to send a general question through the support system (which is currently expired) but there’s no way to send them without having the support renewed, so I’m posting it here.
I’m having trouble to update the Automotive theme and plugin versions on a website (I’ll tell you the domain in the support).
Currently the Wordpress version is 4.9.5, Automotive Theme is 6.7 and the plugin is 11.1
What happened is that the listing categories didn’t show on the frontend. We had to manually change the serialized data inside the option_value field in the wp_postmeta table by adding the proper slug for each of them. The categories are displayed now both on the frontend and backend but the filters on the top are not. There are also other errors on the frontend for some listings.
We could continue by trying to fix everything manually but we don’t think it’s the right way to do it. We need to upgrade everything properly or to make the website from scratch in order to start from a cleaned installation. Whatever the best solution is, it has to be “clean and smooth”.
So the questions are: 1. if we activate the support through Themeforest, will you support us on the upgrade about the listing categories issue (and others that can come up)? 2. if we decide to make the website from scratch, will you help us to import/export the listings? I also read somewhere that you provide an Add-On for this. Is that correct?

Some of this may be beyond the scope of support (especially if your existing inventory doesn’t export to CSV or XML). However, if you just need help getting your Listing Categories to show up on the frontend (and you have them already added under Listings >> Listing Categories) then we should be able to solve this within a support ticket. Hopefully this helps!

when we try to load demo content we get an ajax error on the media option. all other options install and complete correctly. have tried to run media by itself several times doing different things and no luck.
It sounds like maybe you are experiencing a PHP error on your web hosting account. Is there anything displaying in your error_log pertaining to a PHP error? You are likely hitting a resource limit of some sort or something of this nature. Please verify with your web host that you are meeting all of the PHP prerequisites: https://support.themesuite.com/kb/faq.php?id=18
If you can let us know what the error is we can further help you pinpoint the problem and what needs to be changed on your web server.
I am having the same issue as a few other people with the same theme… one of which already posted here with the following text:
” I have discovered a bug when there is more than one product image, the second image is not clickable (when you click the second product image, it does not change, nothing happens. It is supposed to open in a lightbox, or change to that image so it can be zoomed).”
My lightbox hasnt worked properly since 3.0 released but I had it fixed with custom PHP and some CSS. Right now it is exactly as described above with none of the images being clickable to view and/or open in a lightbox.
I have disabled all custom CSS, all custom functions, and removed every plugin on my website but the problem persists.
Oddly enough, it does the same thing on your demo site when I preview it.

I see you guys made some changes and that it is working on your test site, but I am still unable to click the other images on my website and have them open. I was able to get it working right after 3.0 came out by adding the php “add_theme_support” stuff for the new gallery but that doesnt work now.

My whole header menu is filled with the “active” color and not just the home button. When browsing other pages, the active page menu button is colored as it’s supposed to be. Any clues?
