Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. The Newsletter in the footer is by default a regular form with no action. You will have to use a newsletter subscription service like MailChimp or your own email form via Contact Form 7 or Gravity Forms.

For example if you are using a newsletter service like mailchimp, you can use this plugin : https://wordpress.org/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/ to create your newsletter subscription form. Your subscription form should be like this : https://gist.github.com/ibndawood/81489eb753c674bcc1d7f1c962a8c54f

Or if you are using contact form 7 you can create a form like this : https://gist.github.com/ibndawood/2204a575e6d84ab9c09ee7cfa9488181

Once you’ve created your forms you need to paste that shortcode in Electro > Footer > Newsletter signup form.

In most cases, if email is not being sent/received, then the issue is not with WooCommerce or the theme itself, but with the core email function on your web host. The error “The link you followed has expired. Please try again.”  when it occurs during theme upload, it is most likely due to a limitation on upload_max_filesize and post_max_size set by your web host. Please contact your web host to increase these 2 values to at least 32M. Alternatively you can use FTP to upload the theme.

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. Single Product Page is a default page from WooCommerce. The content of single product page are populated from this template : wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/templates/content-single-product.php

If you want to customize single product, you’ll have to use write your own function and hook it to the number of single product actions available. If you want to add content at product level, you can use the single product short description in your product edit page.

Thank you for your interest in our theme. A site’s speed depends more on your host configuration and content than the theme. Here are our general suggestions to speed up your website :

1. Use PHP 7+ instead of PHP 5.x. This would increase the speed by at least 20%.

2. Use caching plugins like WP Rocket or W3T Cache to cache your server output.

3. Use a CDN like cloudflare to cache your static resources like JS, CSS and deliver those files faster.

4. Optimize all your images before upload. Images make up for more than 50% of your website’s size.

5. Consider using a dedicated hosting instead of shared hosting. We recommend Digital Ocean for unmanaged hosting and WPEngine for managed hosting.

Please make sure you’ve disabled catalog mode in Electro > Shop > Catalog Mode. When enabled, the catalog mode will remove all shopping cart features.
