This will require you to use some kind of additional plugin in this case actually, it is not possible out of the box at the moment, we have not officially tested any specific plugin regarding this matter so can not provide you with a solid recommendation.

I’ve added a transparent header for one of my Avada sites, with each page having fusion slider so the white text and logo shows through.
This looks lovely but I’ve just noticed on blog, 404 and event calendar pages there’s no option for a slider so I just get a transparent header on a white background, which looks like a blank page.
How do I add the slider to these pages?

You can not add a slider to those pages actually, however what you can do in this case is remove the transparent header from side globally and only assign them individually using Fusion Options to each page and leave the header opaque for the rest of the site, if you need further assistance with this please open a support ticket and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

By default WooCommerce doesn’t support InstaShop and you will need to install an additional plugin for that, I have found one online that has 500+ installations and good reviews but we have not officially tried and tested it so can not provide you with a solid recommendation here, I will suggest you to get in touch with the plugin author and see if they can provide you with more info regarding the compatibility, however WooCommerce itself is 100% compatible with our theme

This could be due missing database table which is can be result of incorrect migration. I can suggest using the “wp all in one migration plugin” The WP all in one migration has been really effective in migrating site I am adding a guideline on how this can be done in a few clicks. Guide here

We are using Avada for one of our customer.
We discovered that behaviour of the fusion slider had been changed and our sliders started to broken.
After some investigation I discovered that sliders started to called from image_id instead of image field.
That caused a difference between images that shown at slider editor and actual slider.
I just updated image_id with correct one to fix the issue.
Please recheck following lines, it might confuse customers:

Hi, I am using the avada spa theme. I downloaded the demo content but changed the logo and favicons. I have updated all the patch tests. The website front page works perfectly with my logo’s on chrome but on edge and firefox the header is enlarged for some reason. Please help me fix this.

Hi, the problem I face right now is im unable to find the button inside my wordpress to update the 3.9.3 to 4.0.3. I have to upload the new version and then switch, but as I do I lose the theme options that I have on my current side, and I can’t export the 3.9.3 options to the 4.0.3. Can you tell me please where is the update theme button on 3.9.3?
It is not in the dashboard, the avada theme is not there to be update, only the defaults themes.
I have the 4.0.3 downloaded.
How do I proceed? The docs are not clear.

HI, ran into an issue with the latest wordpress update, my old theme is no good anymore and they take weeks to update themes. So, I need a theme that will allow a much better design experience. The problem, is that gutenberg, blocks leave large areas of space when building a page. So the title for a page, shows up with a 73 pixel margin. Then when you add another block, say an image, another 73 pixels. What happens is that you end up with blocks so far spaced apart that it ruins your ability to design anything. My Question is will your theme have this same issue? or will it behave like a normal page, (gutenberg is really dumping on my designs)

The Avada theme makes use of the fusion builder. With the Fusion builder active, the Gutenberg editor will not be active/seen. Using the Fusion builder will not have the same issue as above. This will show content builder in the front end. You can preview how it looks here

Hi, im trying to update from 3.9.2 to the last version, but once I update all the front page styles goes away, seems like the fusion core plugin is not capturing the old markers of the 3.9.2 versions or something like that.
When I edit a page it says: Content Error: Your page content could not be displayed as a Fusion Builder layout. Most likely that means, there is some invalid markup or shortcode in it. Please check the contents in the text editor.

Please do ensure that you run conversion when you do update the theme. We would suggest that you first update the site to version of 3.9.4 and then 4.0.3 and then version 5.4.2
I would request that you first create a staging site to understand the impact of the update. You can find below details on how to create one here

Hi. I just wanted to ask why svg is not working anymore after latest updates. Since (as you already know) WP doesn’t allow svg files inclusion, I’m using an external (and widely used) plugin to be able to upload such files. However, since latest Avada updates, I’m not being able to upload those files anymore, even with svg support plugins installed. How I know that it’s something related to Avada? Because disabling the theme, I’m able to upload and work with these files again. I’m using latest WP 5.0.2 and latest Avada theme. What’s your recommendation?

Hello, i have a question about the updating process. If i have installed wordpress as multisite and use different subsites (e.g. just a different language, so i need only one avada license), can i update the complete theme at one time over “Auto Update” (Token Registration for the parentsite) for all subsites (like avada 5.6 to 5.7) at network level as super admin? Or have i to update all subsites separately? And the same procedure for premium plugins at network level?

Regarding your license query, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. we are thinking of using Avado for our 3 Company blogs.
Here are some questions:
1. I would like to create custom elements for Fusion Builder and Gutenberg to show products of our Shopware shop. Is it possible to program such elements myself or can I just include a widget into Fusion Builder?
2. Is Avada compatible to the WP Recipe Maker plugin? We use it to generate recipes?
3. Is Avada compatible to business listing plugins like the “business directory plugin”? How can I tell which plugins are compatible?
4. It is possible to embed a list of posts including images into a Fusionbuilder page? I cannot tell from the documentation if there is such an element for fusionbuilder?
5. Can I also embed Avado elements (such as calls to action or newsletter subscription forms) as Gutenberg blocks?
6. Does Avado support lazy loading of images?
7. Can I control how multicolumn layouts are mapped to mobile screens (i.e. make it single column, maintain multicolumn, change order …)?
8. If I buy a licence, can I first use it on our development domain and then move it to our production domain? How can I efficiently move the development site to the production site?
9. Is Fusio Builder future proof? Will its development be continued or will the page builder be phased out at some point and replaced by Gutenberg? If yes, is there an easy way of generating Gutenberg pages from Fusionbuilder pages?
10. Are there any more lightweight and faster themes in your portfolio?
11. Is it cheaper if I buy 2-3 licences at a time?

We are glad to hear that you are considering Avada for your websites, I will respond to your queries one by one below.
1. Depends on how you want to show those products? if you are using WooCommerce for those products you can simply use the Fusion Builder elements for that and list them wherever you want.
2. We have not officially tested that particular plugin but I have seen some of our customers using it, we use standard WP practices so there should be no issues with plugin compatibility however i suggest getting in touch with the plugin author about this further to know if they are compatible with Avada.
3. Same as the #2 above as we have not officially tested any particular directory listing plugin yet, I will suggest checking out WordPress repository for that please.
4. Yes, that is definitely possible and we actually have our Blog Element for that which has various layouts you can choose from, you can check all the layouts in our different demos.
5. Gutenberg and Fusion Builder both cannot be used together at same time, you will have to select one editor in this case and more info about this can be read here => http://bit.ly/2KYokiQ
6. This feature is coming very soon in Avada as our developers are already working on it.
7. Right now Avada only supports single column on mobile, however there are premium plugins available for this by which you can create multiple columns on mobile layouts, you can also use custom CSS for this purpose.
8. Yes, you are allowed to do that using a single license for sure without any issues, in the end however only 1 live site can use 1 license of Avada and for any additional domain, you need to purchase another one.
9. Fusion Builder is our star plugin, a more improved Front End version of Fusion Builder is already in works and will be released with our major update. You can put your trust in our Fusion Builder without any doubts.
10. We prefer quality over quantity and Avada is the only WordPress theme we develop and sell right now, regarding the lightweight query as Avada is a multipurpose theme it needs to have multiple possibilities to work with, however using our Advanced Theme Options and Fusion Builder settings you can disable the elements / features that you do not want to use making it further lighter.
11. I am afraid that is not a possibility, the price of product remains the same despite the number of copies you plan on purchasing, we can however assure you that Avada is well worth the price

Coming back to point 1:
We are using wordpress as a content marketing platform for our shops which are implemented using Shopware (www.shopware.com). Therefore, integration with shopware is the most important feature for us.
I would like to write an element/widget which lists thumbnails, names and prices of a number of products from our shop. I would like to get the image data, names, links and prices by querying Shopware’s API and then generate the thumbnails from it.
Can I create custom elements/widgets for Fusion Builder? If yes, is it hard to code these elements?
Regarding point 2: What is the requirement for the development site? Does is have to be on the same domain as the licenced version? Or does it have to be password protected?

You can have it on any domain you want, as far as its not open for general public and is only an inhouse / testing site you should be good to go
