Hi.
My client is running an old version of Avada and we can’t get the updates required to make it function in WordPress 5.0.
He is trying to find his Envato account from which it was purchased, but suspects it was purchased by his previous web designer so it won’t be in his name. If he can’t get hold of it, do we need to purchase a whole new licence to generate the personal token to access updates to the latest version?
Secondly, are the updates available to all purchases, or do we need to purchase the extended support to access the latest updates? (assuming we’ve managed to source the Envato account details). I ask because I think it was purchased 2 or 3 years ago.

In terms of access to the support account and also to perform the theme update, you will need to get in touch with the person to request that they give you the access credentials for the support account and also access to the Themeforest account originally used to purchase the theme so that you can update the theme and generate a token key as explained here => https://bit.ly/1GrzAgY
If you cannot get in touch with the person that originally purchased the license so that you can get access to their Themeforest account to generate a token key, your alternative is to purchase your own theme license to get access to updates, tokens and theme support => https://bit.ly/2FziuDZ
However no, the support extension is not required for updates, they are FREE for lifetime as far as you have a valid Avada purchase so if you are able to get the previous account details you can simply register the theme and get the updated version.

Hi Ammar, I bought 2 licenses and never used the support tickets system. and now needs your help I have to renew the support!! I understand the rules but please can you just let me know if its a lot of work of simpel code? I mean this is some stupid issue in Woocommerce & Avada and there is no simpel fix for it!! Thanks

Hi, is it possible to export only my Avada portfolio pages and import them into another Avada website?

This can be simply done from the WP Dashboard > Tools > Export option where you can select only Portfolio from the post type and export it, later it can be imported the same way if you want to.

How do I customize fusion builder elements on blog archive pages?

You can copy /wp-content/plugins/fusion-core/templates/single-avada_portfolio.php into /wp-content/themes/{your child theme folder}/single-avada_portfolio.php and customize this file on your own.

Hi, I have used the theme for my last project and had hired WP experts from Codable for Mobile Page Speed optimization based on google page speed and really the best that was achieved was not that significant due to the way AVADA theme is designed to load some JS files and so forth in header and more technical things which I could not explain.
My Question would be Does AVADA Theme Team have a plan to make an update soon to make sure that the mobile page speeds are much better and fixed compared to the current theme?
If the mobile page speeds are great out of the box then we can improve on it further.. but currently it’s in the RED out of the box.
ENFOLD Has a score of 76 for mobile page speed out of the box which is awesome compared to AVADA.
PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE WITH AVADA and this theme would be much better!

Google page speed scores have actually nothing to do with the speed itself, the new google page speed API is now based on a whole different analysis engine and we suggest you to check your your site speed using other testing sites such as GTMetrix or Pingdom, please also read this article for more info => https://bit.ly/2qTeAgB

Hi and thank you for the feedback..
Well, i will get in touch however when i compare the two on Google page speed for mobile.. your theme is at 43 ( in red ) and the Enfold is at 66 in Orange based on the demo sites..
Google itself is now ranking sites not Only but giving priority to better mobile page speed results.
Just like AVADA to take this into consideration and make sure theme is optimized as much as possible for mobile and desktops based on how JS files are loaded and all the scripts ..
I know there are many other factors involved for page speed however if we are limited by the theme to optimize then we can not go further.

My apologies if you felt like that from my comment above however answer was specifically related to the demo, regarding your provided site, YES! this is definitely doable using Avada for sure without any issues and you can enable WooCommerce for shop, the design and layout depends on your own choice but the above URL design is definitely replicable.

Hello I’m interested in buying Avada but I’ve got two questions about the regular license. 1. My website is multilingual and four languages are on a main domain name (mysite.co.uk, mysite.fr etc..). Is it ok to have one license for the different domain name as they are all about the same product? 2. I will first work locally with Local by Flywheel on my computer and then transfer the website on the final domain when finished; there will be some problem with the license? Last question, if in two years time I need some support because I’m making some changes, will it be possible to pay the 18$ support extension then?

1) You can use a single license if you have installed a plugin like WPML or polylang to make the site multilingual. If the languages are added using separate WP installs then you will need a license per Wordpress install
2) You can use the same license that you have used in the production domain. This will not be an issue. However, please do ensure to use one license per live domain
3) Yes, you can purchase the support extension and avail support. (The price is subject to any revisions by Envato)

Not by default as Avada uses WooCommerce for all the e-commerce capability, however there are many WooCommerce auction / budding add ons and plugins available that you can include with the theme and WooCommerce itself to get that functionality

Hi, how can I set a title “in” the featured image of a portfolio? Either it works only in rollover or you will get a bar at the bottom where the text is displayed. I want to turn that white bar off and or place the title text in the middle (like on rollover). Thx in advance
