Hello, I have a problem with the resolution in iMac, is there a very large space on both sides. How I can correct this? Because on portfolio (http://mireyadesagarra.com/women and http://mireyadesagarra.com/portfolio-item/09/ I get the same)
My other question is how can I make the smaller images on the home page? I want to have the home page as you can see but with a little smaller images.
I just config the full wide and I still have the same on iMacs/bigger screens.

Themes are not sorted alphabetically, so you can’t search your theme that way. Themes are sorted by original release date.

Regarding the support forum answer and for anyone that need this, it is not possible to open a video portfolio item in a lightbox. Seems to me a big negative point for any creative portfolio construction. Thanks anyway for your support.

Our demos might appear slow, but this is only because we are showcasing lots of images with the highest quality. As such these images are not optimized and are making the load times higher. Also, our demo pages try to showcase all options at once, so you can see all the possibilities the theme could offer.

Page loading time depends mostly on your content and after that on your server power. WordPress theme is just a layout that’s working on content management system which you control. This means the more 3rd party assets you have included, the slower your page would load. Also, your server should be able to deliver PHP 7.2 and the latest version of MySQL database in order to process the files correctly. Also, it all comes down to user’s network speed, so there’re many things included, WordPress theme is the least responsible for speed of your website.

I’m disappointed with this template and the support, specially from a theme that’s week highlight here in themeforest … Bought it and WPBakery (main backend engine used) didn’t work with wordpress >5.0 versions. Had to downgrade my wordpress to v4.9.9 to make it work after opening a ticked in support page that I still have no answer till now. Wordpress 5 was released at 6 December, what means that this template is not updated more than one month after a known issue. Already bought several themes from different sellers and never had an issue like this.

If you installed our theme and updated WordPress to the latest version, you should install Classic Editor free plugin as well. This will allow you to use all WPBakery’s page building functionalities. Hello, I’m interested in buying one of your templates. I am comparing Ottar and Shade.
I would like to have a horizontal gallery. And also the Portfolio Columns as portfolio Carousel as in the Ottar Template. I do like te screen fixed. (No scroll accept for te horizontal scroll).
I’ve got some concerns. Is Shade template going to be updated the upcoming time? (because it is a bit older) And both templates seem to load a bit slowly. Is this a technical thing or due to the image sizes in the galleries?
Which of these templates do you recommend? Is there an other template that suites my wishes in your portfolio even better?

We cannot provide you with precise date, but please, note that both themes will be updated. Please note that we haven’t optimized our demo site speed-wise, because we wanted to show all the possible features our theme offers – so there’s a lot of content. Our support team tests the site of each user on request, and provides individual tips for improvement. Good server configuration is always necessary, plus proper image and content optimization, caching usage, etc. in order to achieve the best possible performance. We are not sure about this, based just on this, we think your decision should be based on whole website purpose and design. So you could compare our portfolio themes and check which one suits your needs on the best way.

Greetings! Thanks as always for the great themes. I’ve purchased Vigor, Cozy and Barista themes in years past and see that this theme also offers a masonry layout option. Is there anything to be gained by purchasing this newer theme (newer cleaner code, faster loading, different theme options, different functionality, etc.) or are the older themes just as technically advanced since they’ve been updated over the years? In other words are there any advantages to the backend functionality of this theme over Vigor/Cozy/Barista or are the changes simply aesthetic? Thank you for the feedback!

The specs on Theme Forest say the Ottar Theme works with Wordpress 4.9.x. In the comments I can read Wordpress 5.0 is supported already. Why aren’t the specs updated if this is the case?

All of them can accept Search bar and any other page for that matter.
We didn’t include membership functionality for Ottar theme, because it’s portfolio theme.
Vertical menu pushes content to right, so there’s nothing beneath it. If you set transparent color for vertical menu, it will inherit main page background color.
