Hi. In this exemple: https://avada.theme-fusion.com/sidebar/ the padding between lines is very big. I want to know if i can reduce that gap because i need a compact sidebar. Thank you.

The sidebar padding in our theme can be controlled from Avada > Theme Options > Sidebar Padding however if you mean margin between sidebar and content, this will require you to use custom CSS and force a different margin as its auto calculated depending on the content width and sidebar width.

“IMPORTANT NOTE: The ‘Side Navigation’ page template will be deprecated in a future version of Avada. We have replaced it with an improved and more flexible solution, the Avada: Vertical Menu widget. This new widget offers the same features but with greater flexibility. It works with the WP menu system. Please utilize this new method instead of the page template which will eventually be removed.”
I am using Side Navigation on all my pages. This is the reason why I have purchased Avada.
So do you want me update all my 678 pages by hand? Do I inderstand this correctly?

I believe you are on a very older version since this change was already introduced versions ago, in this case however this new widget that you have can be assigned to our widget areas and then you can globally assign that widget area to all of your pages using our Global Sidebar option => http://prntscr.com/mea9w0

We do have options to globally assign sidebar to all pages. This can be done by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard > Avada > Theme Options > Sidebars

This is not an answer to my last question.
Every 10 pages of my website are using different Side Navigation menu.
I do not have only one Side Navigation menu for my website but 100 of them. I can not globally assign that widget area to all of mypages using our Global Sidebar option as suggested. According to your instuctions above (vertical menu widget) I will need to create more than 100 custom wp menus firts and than add them by hand to 678 pages???
Please answer this quistion:

This will not break the site but in future, this template would not be available or as we say deprecated. For creating a sidenav, you would have already assigned a parent page, Screenshot here. You can use the same setup as the vertical menu allows you to assign a parent page, Screenshot here This will assign a similar setup as the sidenav

Thank you for your replay.
I have created a widget with a parent page. I have used the same setup for a child page as I used for Side Navigation. The child page does not work. It skips (website.com/parent/child and redirects to website.com/child/. I get a 404 error page. I have spent 6 hours trying to get it working. Your doc page does not give a clear Step by Step How to do it.

It is not clear how to set up a child page with a widget and vertical menu. I do not use a global widget setting.
We do not feel like we have to pay again for your support because your company has deprecated page template and does not offer a clear step by step explanation in your docs. Side Navigation was our main reason why we chose Avada above others. If it will not work, we will deprecate Avada and switch to a more reliable and better-documented theme.

I already knew that. I don’t write css so Contact Form 7 is a bit complicated for me. Above all, I’d like to see a better styles management. Gravity Forms is just too pricey for my needs instead.

Hi, I have used Avada for a while, but now it seems the new Wordpress (5.1) editor has messed up the Fusion Builder interface by making it more vertically compressed and hard to use, with elements in the interface overlapping, which looks like chaos. Will you be releasing an update that works better with the new Wordpress interface?

Hi, Something strange happens to me when I use a svg file in the page with links to paths (format xlink:href=’https://www.domain.com'). If I open the svg image from the browser, the links work. If I open the svg image on the page built in Avada, the links of the path disappear. Why? Thanks Tobia

Hi there,
I’ve got the following error showing up in my console: Refused to apply style from ‘https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.11.4/themes//jquery-ui.min.css?ver=1.11.4' because its MIME type (‘text/html’) is not a supported stylesheet MIME type, and strict MIME checking is enabled.
I’ve got Wordpress Multisite environment and not quite sure how to fix this issue.
Wonder if you ever face something like that previously?

Hi, I can´t seem to change the number of columns in the blog archive and search page. It´s always 1 column, bigger or smaller depending on how many columns I choose, but always 1 column. Any advice? thanks. (PD: tested in 2 different sites)

i have some some pre-sale questions.
1) As i see Avada offers a lazy load function. How will this work? Will everything on a page beyond the viewport disappear for Google or will Google be able to realize that there are still f.e. some images that can be worth a look (however this is solved technically)?
2) Can i use amp with Avada or is it not neccessary because of the Avada mobile options?
In the Agency demo page: 3) Is it possible to change the main menu color sheme on one subpage? 4) Is it possible to add in the fullscreen video section an audio player with autoplay and autoloop? 5) Is it possible in the recent projects section to show one detailed image as thumbnail and to show in the lightbox another larger total view image with different name. But both images should be seen in the source code so that Google can find and crawl them. 6) Is it possible to show just one lightbox for each image without being able to click to the previous and the next lightbox image?

1) In lazy load, the images beyond the viewport will not be loaded unless the user scrolls to the particular section where the image is present. This will certainly not remove the image from the page source (google reads the page source) and search engines will certainly index your content/images
2) You can make use of AMP with Avada. This will not style the content as how normally it would with the theme alone at work. You can read more on this here
3) You can change the only header background colour on different pages via the fusion page options. Other changes would need customization
4) I am afraid video with audio does not auto-play in most modern browsers. This is more of browser policy than a theme limitation. A muted video can auto-play in a loop on desktop devices (certain mobile devices even restrict auto-play for muted videos)
5) I am not very clear on the setup but what you do mention can be done via the image element. You can give a different thumbnail and different lightbox image and both images can be read by search engines
6) This would depend on your setup. An unlinked image element (without a gallery ID) will show just one image in lightbox and not link any other image from another image element in a lightbox gallery. The setup would vary based on the elements used.

Updated from a previous version and desktop and mobile navigation are missing. I used a left side navigation, and I tried disabling all non Avada plugins with no luck. Menu settings in the theme options all look as they did before the update.
I had the most recent version prior to this and used the automatic update. Is something others are experiencing?

Please check the menu is set by going to WordPress admin panel dashboard —> Appearance—> Menu. Select the “manage location” tab and do check if a menu is assigned.
