Thanks for interesting to JNews. For rethumb, if you mean the post featured image i think you don’t need to do that. But if some featured images needed we can use Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to handle this thing. Let me know if you have further question.

For “menu order” I mean what you can see here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Order_.26_Orderby_Parameters

In most case, if you manually modify the order of the posts and use the parameter “date order”, it works (so you have the same result: posts sorted by “menu order”) but if you could add “menu order” as “sort by” parameter, it would be even better.
