Hi Guys, Has the Redux bug been fixed yet? I have updated the theme (in fact I bought two themes from you) and the Icon hover colour on the flip cards keeps reverting to red and also the Sold Label colours aren’t updating. I have saved a colour scheme on both and updated the theme and plugins. Thank you

Redux has not fixed this yet that I am aware of, however we find if you name the color scheme something different (don’t leave it the Default name) it doesnt seem to happen.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have done that but the flip card icons and sold label colours won’t change. The menus reverting seems to be a random thing

I have a couple of simple questions and am out of support. I have two versions of the theme and it looks like I can’t get support unless I buy it twice. Is that correct? $60 is a lot of money to just ask 2-3 questions.

The questions are:

1. Social Icons in Top Fixed Header – Have you nailed that yet.? Can’t see it in updated theme. 2. Footer Twitter Feed Widget not showing in my Widgets choices 3. How to double size of Social icons in bottom footer and keep them fixed colour

It would also be helpful to know how to edit the Call to Action row on Homepage if you haven’t nailed 1 above. I would rather use that area for phone | email | social plus optional Schedule Test drive for those that use it of course. Nicely responsive of course.

Hi Jan,

You only need to pay the support renewal fee on one of your theme licenses and it will activate support on both of your theme licenses. That is one of the benefits of purchasing multiple licenses of one theme, the support is the same price whether you have 1 theme or 10 themes. As far as it being a lot of money relative to the support you will need over the next 6 months, that is entirely a personal decision. If it is not worth it to you then there is no obligation to renew it.

Regarding your issues/questions:

1. We can provide you with code to activate this on our support site, but unfortunately this does require you have active support

2. You should see this under Appearance >> Widgets and it is titled [LISTINGS]: Twitter Feed. If you are not seeing it for some reason you will need to renew your support and open a support ticket including temporary login details so we can investigate. I just checked and I see it here on my end.

3. This would require some customization, if you would like a quote on having us customize it for you please send an email to sales@themesuite.com

Thanks for the quick reply. I hope I didn’t sound critical. The extended support is $25 for six months and the Renew Support is showing £60 for six months, so assumed it was double. (Or one per license). Will have to give it some thought, but I can probably figure it out.

Does the theme have the capability of an inventory data feed via ftp?

You would need our Automatic Importer plugin to accomplish this, please send an email to sales@themesuite.com for more information on this plugin. If I misunderstood and you meant you want to push the inventory from your website to feed it to other sources you can also do that with our Automatic Exporter, again if you are interested in this plugin just let us know. I was actually wanting to import the inventory to my site through a platform like inventory plus

You can run manual imports under Listings >> File Import using the integrated functionality, but if you want to automate the inventory updates on a schedule you would need the Automatic Importer plugin

Unable to update theme – going round in circles trying to get my theme to update – just get message that ‘Update package is not available’.

Claims I don’t have a valid Username and API key – then prompts me to update, which I do. But no joy.

Envato has implemented a rate limiting tactic to force everyone off of their old API and onto a new one. You will need to manually update your theme and plugin to the latest versions, and then AFTER you do that go to Theme Options >> Update Settings and connect your Envato account to the new API. After you do that you should be able to automatically update again going forward. Here are some links to knowledgebase items explaining how to manually update:

Hello, I just purchased the theme and have errors with the 3 recommended plugins. I’ve tried to submit a ticket but your ticket system says – my support expired, I just bought it 5 minutes ago. I need support to help me so I can continue working on the project.

Hello looks like there is an update pending for the theme but unfortunately I’m unable to update it and the website is just displaying a blank white page. I was able to get my hosting company to change the settings to the default WP theme but I’m unable to update the theme or it’s plugins. Any suggestions? Would deleting the theme and reinstalling it lose any data or other work I’ve done?

I would recommend manually updating the Automotive theme and Automotive Listings plugins via FTP:

Hello! My colors in custom styling header are not saved. All of a sudden it goes back to default red settings. Works on some pages, different long time before it switches back? Theme is recently updated.

Please make sure you have added a name to your custom style and saved it. If you leave it as the Default it can reset to default.

If you have renamed it already then it depends what version you updated from, but there was a bug in previous version a while ago that caused this, however you shouldn’t experience this in the latest version. If you continue experiencing this going forward with your theme and Automotive Listings plugin updated to the latest version please open a support ticket at https://support.themesuite.com with FTP and wp-admin login details so we can debug the issue.

Is it possible that the error is caused by an old version of Automotive listings? We have no need for it on our page and have not kept it updated.

Yes that is possible, typically it should always be updated at the same time you update the theme

Hello themesuite, I’m very interested in your Automotive theme, but have a few questions left, which I couldn’t figure out even with the demo. 1. Does this theme or any bundled components/modules/plugins grab any data? As we are a German company we have to comply with EU-GDPR and need to know. 2. Is it possible to change the consumption to l/100km and add further info like efficiency and emissions, especially in the “all listings”-view? 3. I’d like to use my export from mobile.de to upload into Inventory. mobile.de exports an .zip-file, containing a .csv with all information and an ID, together with all pictures of all cars named like id%_%serial .jpg (e.g. 78_1.jpg .. 78_15.jpg). Does Inventory get this logic?

1. Yes, it is 100% GDPR compliant. You can enable GDPR compliance under Listing Options >> Email Templates >> GDPR compliance

2. Yes, you can easily change it from MPG to L/100km

You can make a Listing Category for Specials under Listings >> Listing Categories and then use the Featured Vehicle Scroller or Inventory shortcode to display these specials on a page or the homepage. Hi, long time no talk. :) My support has expired, but since support doesn’t cover customizations, I thought I’d try asking here. Could you give me a quote for modifying the pricing fields to accept both text and numbers, rather than forcing a currency format? During tax season, my client insists on listing certain vehicles as “Call for Pricing,” which obviously doesn’t work. It just shows up as $0. If I need to renew support, I understand.

I haven’t checked my website in a while, but suddenly some problems started occurring? For example; On the homepage at ‘new arrivals’, after you click 2 times, the website doesn’t show any more images, why is this?

And if you click on a car to enlarge the image, I get to see a black screen?

I haven’t changed anything in months on the website and suddenly these problems arise. Is there any fix for this please?

Hi, I’ve bought your theme some days ago. That’s splendid but I’m in trouble with the traslation in Italian. I’ve downloaded “Loco” a plugin for translations and seems that someone traslated the theme before (it says “100% translatet under the italian language) so…may I know how to “set” that translation? (there are many languages available as english, dutch, french and many others…) Thanks a lot

When you download the entire theme package off of ThemeForest and extract the zip file you will find a Languages folder. In there you will find the Italian translation for the theme and Automotive Listings plugin. You can just place these files in the appropriate WordPress locations. As per the link provided above it is wp-content/languages/themes/ for the theme and wp-content/languages/plugins/ for the Automotive Listings plugin.

Hello, I’m having a hard time with my inventory page when viewing my website on a Mobile phone. Both the image gets wide and then the menus overlap on the inventory page. Any help with this? it’s done this since I got the theme. Thanks!
