As of now it would actually require CSS to set the image on the title element itself. You can use the custom css box inside of each project via the Salient WPBakery page builder (top right gear icon). Here’s an example snippet:

Unassign the home template you have active and instead use the page builder to add a Nectar Slider. The Home Slider was deprecated a while ago and the Nectar Slider is the current/much more flexible slider in Salient. I tried the new code and it doesn’t seem to effect the width. If you have an iPad available, please take a look there in landscape. You will see what I see.

Actually, I nested a row inside another row. The main row is set to Full Width Background. On mobile (iPad) that is where I see the space on the sides. FW Content looks GREAT on mobile, but on desktop, I want it tight and contained as it is when you set it to FW Background.

Hey ZGmarketing, not as of now without modifying the function which determines when that effect should be activated. If you’re interested in diving in, it’s located in nectar/helpers/page-header.php and the function is called “using_page_header”

Were you using the “Ajax” or “Standard” page transition method within the Salient options panel > page transitions tab? Sometimes the Ajax option can run into issues with plugins, however the standard should not.

In version 9.0 we changed the minimal styling option. Unfortunately the minimal style had to be simplified to not rely on javascript to move the labels around/create the animation – it conflicted with many third party form systems and was general unstable. We added a new material form style in 9.0 though which you may like better than the minimal. If you disable the minimal option and use the material theme skin in the general settings tab, you’ll be able to see it: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/theme-options/form-styling/

Both of those are using the “carousel” page builder element with script set to “Flickity”. You can then achieve the first linked image by using the “Fixed text content fullwidth” style and the other linked image by using the “default” style.

In order to use the “hover” based slide out off canvas menu instead of the click based options, you’ll need to increase the boxed layout max width a bit to accommodate large screen sizes. add this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab:
