Hi, Is it possible to add padding to right and left side of Full Width footer layout because scroll-too-top arrow sits on top the last Social Media icon and it’s impossible to click on the icon’s link.

That estimate was before we realized the entire scope of what would be needed for the new Envato theme guidelines. Now all of our efforts are focused on that and are planning on release an update in regards in April.

Hey Marc, Salient is in the process of being rebuilt to keep compliant with new standards Envato will be enforcing in May: https://forums.envato.com/t/updated-wordpress-requirements/173223 After we release that, the regular feature based updates will resume normally. We will also be releasing a minor update before then just to include the latest WPBakery/add a couple bug fixes.

On my site: https://www.winemakershouse.co.za/ I have installed the restaurant theme. Everything was working, but now suddenly there is a padding issue on some of the rows that is full width content. See my screenshot. What is up? There is no custom css used on the site. Look at map on about page and entire page on Outdoor Village!

1. You can alter the product column numbers as of Salient v9 with in the Salient options panel > woocommerce tab

Hi there, for this version of the demo (http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-corporate-creative/) – is it possible to eliminate that wavy border and just make the background photo a full cover? Same goes for the “Ready to start creating an amazing website?” section.
And as a follow-up, is it possible to have that little section indicator bar on the right hand side of this demo (http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-service/) added to the Corporate Creative demo mentioned above?

1. Yes, those are options enabled within the page builder rows which can be turned off.
2. That is also possible, the fullscreen page rows functionality shown on that demo can be added on any page built using the page builder. It automatically turns each row into a fullscreen section with snap to scrolling.

1. The Salient theme options panel controls global settings that will apply to the theme.
2. The WPBakery page builder is the main way to add/edit content in Salient: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-builder-general/
3. Salient doesn’t add any option to the WP customizer, so things in there will be core WP options or third party plugin related options.

Small problem with the mobile display in the following case: On one of my sites I have the text in one column and an image in another column. I use the equal height option to make the image adapt to the height of the text. On the other hand, on mobile the image is not displayed or 1px in height. How can I fix this?

Hey EspaceTech, you could place a divider inside of the column which will act a minimum height for the column on mobile devices. If that doesn’t work for you, please share the page URL in regards so I can take a look.

Are you referring to the cart page? If so, can you share your URL in regards as Salient no longer includes any cart related template files and lets WooCommerce generate it fully.

I will be using the Fancy Product Designer plugin with Salient. I have been told that I may need to have “WOOCOMMERCE MULTI STEP” installed to “ensure FPD works smoothly”. What is your opinion please, will I need this?

Salient should not be altering the URL structure of forms like that – have you tested without the theme active to verify it’s related?
I have tested this in another theme and it works as required so it appears to be specific to Salient. Thanks Andy

Hi, I just wanted to let you guys know that when using the ‘body border’ (which is a very nice little add on) the logo is very close to the top and adding padding increases the gap below the logo. Is there some temporary css you could give us to only add padding above the logo?

Apologies, so it did not affect our customers, we have reverted to using an embed within a raw HTML block instead, so the above example won’t show it. I would appreciate any advice you can offer though as the issue has only occurred since the update.
