Regarding the update for may/June, do you have in plan the following:
1. Make the theme really be full-width. This means to the edge of the screen;
2. Very simple Login/Register and Lost Password (something like Clean Login). Now, if you use WooCommerce there is a login system (but no Lost Password which can be changed on the site). Than, on the main site you must use a pluign which looks different than WooCommerce;
3. Comment form validation via javascript. This will stop to constantly go to the wordpress admin;
4. Yet-another-related-posts-plugin it is closed. Maybe replace with another one.

1 should be possible in the future version but there isn’t a plan for 2 in the same version but we’ll consider it for future (do note that for now, you can already use the WC login globally). As for 3, we use the native WordPress comment system and it shouldn’t go to WP admin for validation – the behavior should be the same as default WordPress – if it’s not, create a topic at our support site and our team will check it out for you. For YARRP, it’s not an official feature we offer, but we are already considering integration with alternatives.

Currently the site goes to responsive style (full width no sidebar) when the width is less than 800px. How can I change the threshold to 1000px? Note that I don’t want to “hide” the sidebar, but I hope to full width the page. Thanks!
and I also found the site is not responsive when the “boxed” is selected, but it’s good when full width is selected. Any idea why?

Hi! I’m a long user of SmartMag theme. Since yesterday I’m having trouble editing pages (everything works fine until I click the Update button) and adding images inside pages or articles. I’m using WP 5 with Classic Editor Plugin.

If the two sites are part of the same network – as in both can be considered part of the same site (same domain not necessary), then only one license is required. Otherwise you will have to buy two standard licenses.

This is usually from a javascript error on the page. Disabling plugins isn’t enough as there might be a custom code added somewhere. If you have added any custom HTML or Javascript code in widgets, header, or footer, try to remove it temporarily. You will need to find external plugins for 1-2 as they’re very unlikely to be in a theme. For multi-lingual websites you can use WPML plugin and RTL support is available within SmartMag.

Hey Im having trouble seeing my thumbnails once I exported posts onto the smartMag theme. They do not appear anywhere even after I did a full regenrate thumbnails. Is there a setting that has to be turned on somewhere as well? Help!

Hi I was wondering if there was a way to add another column to the left side? It would function like the right widget sidebar, but have other content. for example the left side bar will have recent posts, categories, while the right sidebar would have, meta description, search, etc… Does anyone know how this is done?

The theme is already fully compatible with WordPress 5.0 but the special features like page builder aren’t available under Gutenberg editor. They work without issues using the “Classic Editor” plugin. A general update is planned in May to introduce some Gutenberg support as well.
