before you immigrated to elementor, the theme is too light. but newer versions not. as soon as you turn on elementor plugin, page speed decrees!

Hello! I have a blog with this theme, but it is too old. My webmaster never updated it and i’m stuck at version 2.4. So, im facing some problems with html5 errors and another things, and, i think if i update to the newest version, my site will broke. So i need to know from you guys if i buy your support you manage to update my theme to the newest version without problems? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for contacting us. The support doesn’t include our tech team performing the upgrade for you – that’s not included in the support. We can guide you in details, however, you’ll have to follow the guide and perform the update yourself. There can be other issues like, if the theme was heavily customized in the wrong way using direct file modifications instead of following best practices, then you may have some customization lost. Otherwise, you can do it smoothly after following the guide.

Thanks for contacting us. Regarding your question, everything needed to achieve the demos in the live preview, is included with the purchase. Elementor Pro is not needed at all (although it’s also compatible if you would like to use it).

Updates through Wordpress?

I’ve been working with SmartMag 5.5 all this time and had no idea you were up to version 8?

I haven’t gotten any update alerts from neither Themeforest nor from within Wordpress.

There were no automatic / one-click updates available in that version by default. Previously, you would have to use Envato Market plugin to get update notifications in the WordPress admin. You can learn about updating the theme over here.

I don’t know why I don’t get an email notification when you publish a new update to your theme. Even if the notification box is already activated in the “Downloads” part of the “themeforest.net” website.

I always have to go to themeforest.net to see if there is an update!

Hi there … I read your comments from 8 years ago, sharing that PSD files shouldn’t be expected these days, as “More and more themes will be moving to more modern practices in the post-PSD era”. So I am wondering … have you considered creating and supplying your theme layouts in Adobe XD files (which is what’s essentially replaced having mockups in PSD in this modern era). I am sure it would be VERY useful to your customers and potential customers … as it allows for professionals to more easily incorporate your theme and its layouts into their design process with clients, etc.

Hello. I bought the SmartMag theme (+ 1 year of support). Wanted to register on the support forum (https://theme-sphere.com/wp-login.php?action=register). But when I enter the purchase code, a white screen appears. And nothing else happens. Tried several times, but the result is the same. How can I access the forum?

Sorry to hear about the support registration issue you’re experiencing. That’s the alternate way of support registration, however it’s odd that it’s failing. The main way is when you activate your theme license from your WordPress admin > SmartMag menu, your support account is created based on your Envato email address and the password is also sent to the same email. If you didn’t receive the password email, you can go to the support site, click Login link and click “Forgot Password?” to retrieve a new password.

If the problem isn’t resolved, please send us an email via this contact form and we’ll send you the support info swiftly.
