I have dealership where we sell Ford, Toyota & Nissan. I will have 3 different domains and hosted by the same company, is there a way to share the “SEARCH OUR INVENTORY” across all the domains but only show results for the toyota on the toyota site, the ford on the ford site and the nissan site to show all? I would need to buy 3 licenses also correct?
If it was all on the same domain you could easily do this out of the box with a single license. If you want to do it across 3 domain names on 3 WordPress installs but just manage your inventory on one of the sites and have the others syncronized you would need to use a combination of our Automatic Importer and Automatic Exporter plugins on the sites, and yes you would require 3 theme licenses (one for each domain name). It would be quite easy to only display the specific brands using the Inventory shortcode regardless of how you have it setup. Hi! Is there a way to test the Frazer manual inventory import functionality before purchasing? On the demo, there didn’t seem to be an option to do so. Thanks for your help!
We unfortunately had to disable the inventory import functionality on our demo / test drive site as we had some wise guys that thought it would be fun to run a pile of massive imports simultaneously and crash the server.
I can tell you for sure it is compatible with Frazer though, we have lots of customers using it with their DMS. If you would like to see your inventory on our platform you can send us your feed to sales@themesuite.com and we will import it for you to have a look.
Does this theme support feeds from Dealer.com car inventory?
As long as it is in CSV or XML format it should work fine. If you want to send a sample file to sales@themesuite.com we would be happy to test it for you prior to you purchasing
why does automotive listings plugin have problems with ever media library i install in wordpress like FileBird ????
We unfortunately cannot guarantee compatibility with every 3rd party plugin available. ok but every dealer needs to organize lots of fotos like 300 fotos or more that every body knows, so wich media library is automotive compatible with ?? if i renew support to get help from themesuite its only for 6 months and i have to pay for 58 dolares every 6 months and every update if support over and its not compatible then i need to renew for support and pay again 58 dolares, so i´m asking you what automotive theme is compatible with what media library in the plugin market ? so we can have our listings organized and not waste hours loading vehicles and fotos but rather trying to sell cars????? simple question ?? or do we have to choose another theme that allows us to work with more than 10 cars and no let us waste hours finding the fotos in wordpress media library but leting us work and have every thing organized with a good plugin ???

Hello, we updated the theme and the issue on Chrome still appears.
You will need to add another row of items in the new version, even if it is just a duplicate of the 1st row. After you do that it should start working, but let us know if it does not.

Hello, we are using mac too, it also doesn’t work on mobile. It does work on Firefox. Yes its the logos (Peugeot, Ford, Citroen, etc). This element appears on a number of pages for example: https://www.vanbrandsdirect.co.uk/citroen/
Works fine on my android with latest Chrome, what phone doesn’t it work on? You likely just need to fully clear your browsers history and cache on all devices and flush any caching plugins you might be using on the site or hosting account.
Ok working, on my iPhone as long as I click the bottom of the icon.

Is it something to do with the touch scroll?
We just tested it in Windows (Chrome, latest Version 73.0.3683.103) and it also works there. We have tried 3 different Mac’s and it works on all of them. Have you tried a different computer?
That’s so strange, all the devices we have tried using Chrome it doesn’t work and on all mobile phone devices.

Please try disabling all other 3rd party plugins except Automotive Listings, Visual Composer, and Slider Revolution. You also need to update your Automotive Listings plugin to 14.4. After you do that, please fully clear your cache, test again, and let us know how you make out.

Hi, I have this theme running on a site, and have updated to the latest version, but I keep getting an error message:

Could you send he ‘listing_content.php’ file version 14.3 or point us in the direction where we can updated it. Both the main Automotive theme and the child theme are running on the latest version.

This is coming from our Child Theme templating system. You are not missing a file, both versions of the file are on your server and the versions don’t match. It is telling you that the listing_content.php file that you customized in your Child Theme is only at version 14.0 which is not current with the Parent file from version 14.3. You will need to take the latest version of the file and migrate your customizations into it and then overwrite the outdated Child Theme file.
Really sorry but I can’t find where the ‘two’ versions are…?
The out of date version I know is in /automotive-child/auto_templates/listing_content.php but where can I find the ‘Parent file from version 14.3’ ?

I was able to hide the blog posts by ID in functions.php but vehicles marked as sold on the backend, no.
There is some workaround?

1. We updated this so that if you have sold vehicles set to hide from the inventory they will now also be removed from the search in the next release.
2. Under Listing Options >> Automotive Settings >> Keyword Search you can change this to search your Listing Categories instead of the Title.
The way WordPress is setup the search is always linked to the title/content, so even if we added a parameter to search the post meta it would still look for the search value in the title/content first (and if it is not present then it wouldn’t show up even if it is in the post meta unless you altered the actual SQL that WordPress generates).

Hi, I did an update today and the vehicle scroller is not linking through to the listing pages. On inspection, the is there but not opening the page.
Please update your theme and Automotive Listing plugin to the latest version and fully clear your browsers history and cache, this should resolve your issue.

Yes for sure, all of the words and terms in the theme and plugin are translatable.

Hi Michael – We have had some issues with the Envato API system and you will need to manually update your Automotive theme via FTP to the latest version and then reconnect your account to Envato under Theme Options >> Update Settings if it does not say Envato Account Connected. Pre-sale question. I notice that when I click on the image of a car in the grid listing page appear a pop-up window with the big image of the car. But is it possible to set the image link to broswe to the car details page (..and NOT open the image pop-up) ? Thanks
Yes, this can be disabled under Listing Options >> Inventory Page >> Thumbnail Slideshow and then when you click the image it will load the car details page (and not open the image pop-up)
If I need to get my license reset for purchase code how would I go about doing that. I was having trouble updating, and so I thought the reset feature might come in handy. However, now I can’t reconnect my wordpress with envato!

In this last version (v10.7 / v14.3) I found at least two bugs, one wth the Photoswipe, the images on the individual vehicles are not clickable

Nothing, we will wait for a stable version.
As you will understand, I only perform tests with the theme and the plugins js-composer & automotive, nothing else. The previous version did not have these problems.
By the way, the demo in Themeforest is broken right now

The error with the Photoswipe is because of the version of php, only works with 7.0 or greater!!!
The errors with the js-composer is from the plugin itself, you can finf more users with the same problems here in their WPBakery support:

Ahh ok yes we don’t support outdated versions of PHP, we always recommend you use a currently supported version: https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php That is good to know about the bug in the Visual Composer plugin, thanks for pointing that out. I found how to replicate the bug with the Photoswipe, go to Listing Options >> Inventory Page >> Thumbnail Slideshow and turn off the slideshow.
Now, you will see that it is no longer possible to open the photos in gallery preview on single listing pages (you will also see the error in the console).

Hi. pre-sale question. In the mobile version of a individual listing the main info of the car (make, model, etc.) appears after table tabs (vehicle overview, etc). For me it is most important that the main info appears soon after car images (before table tabs)... is this possible?? thanks

Something is preventing the page from loading, there is an error in the console that is hanging it up. At certain widths the breadcrumb links don’t really look quite right. For example on your demo site -> Inventory -> Individual Listing on tablet mode the header section appears quite untidy. I was thinking to be able to use ‘ellipsis text overflow’ might be quite useful for very long breadcrumbs. Thanks
Thanks for pointing this out! The big issue with text overflow is it would cut off part of the breadcrumb that users are looking for. We discussed it here to try and come up with an alternate solution and we decided the best option is to move it down to a separate line. We will get this added in the next update.
