The theme version in your link is older than the release of WordPress 5.0 and is why it’s causing problems. WordPress 5 came with many changes and we have made an update to the theme to work with those changes.

After upgrading WordPress 5.0 , make sure to upgrade the theme as well along with the bundled plugins in notice.

You’ll get all fullscreen, events, proofing, and all pages and posts on switching.

3 things need to be done.

1. Re-publish each post and page to ensure theme specific post meta data are stored. 2. Check pages with widgets. WordPress normally will reset widget on theme switches. ( Normally behavior in WordPress ) 3. Visit wp-admin > Settings > Permalinks to auto renew permalinks cache if you get 404 errors on custom post types. Visiting the permalinks cache will resolve this.

Hi, it’s me again. I also even noticed that the fullscreen slideshow has navigation arrows and a play/pause button on a desktop, but not when viewing it with a mobile device! On a mobile device there is no way to navigate between the pictures, neither with the (non existing) navigation arrows, nor with swiping. Is this a bug? All in all it looks to me that this theme is not perfect mobile friendy, which is important to me! Are you working on that? Many thanks and regards! Gerald

1. Images will need to exist in WordPress media library for any theme or plugin to use them. If the images go outside of media library then it’s going out of standard. There are ways to keep media library registered images in external sources but the images still need to be in media library.

You can check out the WordPress plugins library for media library helpers. Alterations for this section needs to be carefully done as it’s a part of WordPress then internally changes a lot. https://wordpress.org/plugins/

2. Sorry, we don’t have this feature in the theme.

3. It’s a style which isn’t applied. This can be easily done using CSS. We can help with this via support forum.

For a single image that displays title and description text on hover you can use the image box block in pagebuilder.

3. The theme has bulk image drag and drop which can populate images and you can also tag them to create filters as seen in the following url http://kreativa.imaginem.co/galleries/gallery-filter-tags/

4. Having categories as in the website reference can only be done by creating one post for each image which requires using portfolio posts. Categories aren’t there for image galleries that can be created using bulk drag and drop.

5. Right click block will work sitewide.

6. The theme doesn’t show number of views.

7. You can create a new menu or use the existing one by removing the items and adding your required ones. You can get familiar with menu builder section even with default WordPress theme which is a core feature of WordPress.

Your reference website looks very different to what the theme is. You’ll be able to achieve everything in theme demo using the theme. Features not seen in demo is generally not included. For example the Advertisement slots you see your reference aren’t there in this theme so those can’t be displayed out of box. It will require customization.

Best if you check through the theme demo and see if it has all the features you require. This way you’ll know for sure that the theme will work for you.

Could you double check with the theme version you have. Latest version of theme is version 3.0. If yours is older then it needs the update to work with WordPress 5.x
