Love the theme, amazing…I really want something performant and wonder of I will have to do everything manually ( I’m ok, I know to do it but what a pain 
)
Using Autoptimize css, js, total cache and cie right now on other 2 themes..but is anything is already done from your side to help a bit (inside the theme ) ?
NB : NOT speaking about header cache of course, but the way elements are l oaded via theme.
Just some examples :
On your demos or some of your customers live site ( normal homepage, nothing super heavy ) performance via Audit / webdev tool there are issues with some render-blocking resources css/app.css?ver=1.0.1.4 …css/js_composer.min.css?ver=5.7 …css/dashicons.min.css(c0.wp.com) …css/buddypress.min.css?ver=4.2.0 …css/jetpack.css(c0.wp.com) …css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=5.7 …block-library/style.min.css …css/admin-bar.min.css .fb_hidden{position:absolute;top:-10000px;z-index:10001} ...
Also some featured images are not lazy loaded. or instagram in built feed for example.

Hi there, as you can see, our demos are very long and load multiple videos at once. So the page size is quite a lot, but it opens in an instant. We only use autoptimize plugin and CDN on our demos.
Hi and thank you for your quick reply. I also checked some recent showcases ( notably one site, generic homepage with a simple embed from YT or a single blog post with no video ), it’s the same. Any further hints, cause I adore the theme but cannot compromise performance. It’s a pain. Should be optimized in my humble opinion. Thank you,

1/If I use autoptimize and defer / async js via same author plugin + total cache : Will the theme work ?
2/ Will it work if I host ( google ) fonts ? Is there a way to do it via theme ?
3/ Can I disable typekit fonts ?
4/ Is there a way to defer Instagram plugin + Lazy load insta photos ( sidebar and/or footer )
5/ I don’t see Post count views. Sorry if I missed it :-/ Any tip or info ?-compatible plugins maybe ?
6/ Love Issue Demo 1. HOMEPAGE Can I use the exact layout + add a sidebar somewhere in one of the section ? Is it built with WP Bakery blocks ?
7/ CAn I mix various elements from various demos ?
8/ Is your newsletter working with mailchimp ? Where can I put the GDPR policy in sub form ? I don’t see it ( text : by blahblah I accept terms and conditions with link read more )

10/I currently use a theme ( multinews-obsolete) that uses WP Bakery V. 5.6 What is the latest WP version used in the theme ? + extra question : what will happen when swtching from old theme to The Issue ?

Do you have specifications regarding the image sizes? I use issue-05. The pictures for the postings are on the start page times square and then upright again. And then there are page layouts where the images are displayed in full width. Is there any recommendations?
Hi there, please use https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/ to regenerate your old images. We suggest using at least 800×700 images for featured images.
Notices something with the Trending Posts functionality seems to be not working As all content for Now, Week, Month is exactly the same? And not updating it seems to be the same in the demos also

Hey, loving this theme. Could I get stats from the reactions widget, so that I can craft new content accordingly? If a particular series of post is confusing to people for example, I can work on ways to make future iterations better.

Thanks for the reply. Firstly, can the reactions be customised without modifying the code? I’d like to use custom Labels and icons. For example:
INSPIRING, CONFUSING, MORE OF THIS, LESS OF THIS
Secondly, it would be great to see the total reactions in the WP backend when viewing the post list, but also to export a report in CSV that has posts in one column, and reaction stats in other columns.
The company I’m working with would export this (maybe quarterly) and see if there are noticeable issues with any articles. If an article has a lot of “CONFUSING or LESS OF THIS” reactions, we can work on changing that type of content in the future, or produce more of the better rated content.
I’m guessing this is all stored in the database though? So I could export this manually for such a report.

You can custom labels and there are 106 emojis to choose from. However, we do not have stats/export at the moment. I’ll see if we can integrate this

Great theme! Before I buy I was wondering if it would be easy to have a fullscreen post layout without any sidebar. I have a visual blog (not much text and lots of images) and I would need to have the pictures fullscreen throughout the post. Hello, I installed demo 1 but on frontpage the BEAUTY and FASHION has no articles. Only the tags are there and when I click on a tag I see there is a article. Why are not all articles listed?!
