IMPORTANT: my homepage is online now and it looks well. Everything works fine, so i can go live in a couplfe of weeks. I have one big issue and wanted to ask if this is possible.
There is a left and right navigation, but if i have a smaller size of my webbowser the side shows just the right navigation (respinsive) which is super cool.
But I even like the display with just the right navigation more.
Is it possible for the fullsized version to disable the left navigation and to give the post-blog more space?
I hope you can understand my problem.

Hi, WPBakery Page Builder is causing problems and I want to know if it is up to date. Whenever I activate it on my site, it crashes it and brings up a 500 internal server error. When I deactivate it, my site works again. What is an alternative to using this because it’s a real headache thinking my site will go down every time it needs to be updated.

I simply need the theme plugin wp bakery updated so my site can work. I have tried setting up an account and enter purchase code etc and your support site is not accepting it. I have tried verifying it with the api here and still nothing. So this was my last option.
As of yesterday Socialize came with the most up to date version of the WPBakery Page Builder (5.7). They’ve just released a new update today, which I first need to test with the theme as it’s a major update. However 5.7 definitely works with the theme and nobody else has reported such errors.

Socialize just uses the standard WPBakery Page Builder plugin so any addons should be compatible, however I cannot guarantee this as this addon has not been tested with the theme.

This is a WordPress that has been designed to be fully compatible with the BuddyPress plugin.
It does not have any membership level features, you’ll need to use a plugin for that such as Paid Membership Pro.

Very disappointed. There is zero documentation or help files on how to change the orange color. I’ve spent 4 hours searching it’s usually very simple to change on themes but not this one. And I see many people have asked here but he just says go to support. Why not answer the question and provide it in documentation in the first place.

It’s obviously not going to explain how to change each individual colour, that would be crazy as there’s tons of them.

- does this theme offer something like the Facebook Marketplace feature which would allow all site members to post, buy, sell, etc. in their own languages and currencies? And if not, is there a plugin for Woo Commerce that can be installed to be able to have this feature, which is truly important for me. If there is, what is that plugin called so I can check it out immediately.

Also, I just registered for the demo, and it accepted all the credentials I entered, but when I try to login, I always get an “Invalid Username” response. so what to do to be able to test the demo.

1) Groups are part of the BuddyPress plugin, not the theme, so I’m not an expert on this but I don’t believe there is a character limit on group titles.
I’m not sure what you mean by a community page – do you have a link to one?
2) The theme does not have such marketplace features – if it did I would advertise it 
WooCommerce is likely to have an extension that offers this. I can’t refer you to any, but have a Google and look through the WooCommerce extensions directory.
3) Registration is disabled on the demo. The demo already provides login details. You can login with:

not sure if I understand your last reply – I am asking up to how many characters the Socialize theme allows for Names / Titles of groups and community pages, such as the one referred to in the link that I provided,at your request. So the bottom line is this – using Socialize, will I be able to create a Group or Community Page with the title, for example, such as the following titles/names

Senior/Old Dog Rescue Network for Precious Lives Needing Urgent Help
or will I be forced to shorten the name when using Socialize.

Socialize is a theme designed to work with something called the BuddyPress plugin.
The theme uses this BuddyPress plugin to create Groups – it does not have a community pages feature. You can test BuddyPress on any theme for free to see if it has the features you need.
There is no character limit on Group titles as far as I know.

hello, trying to install the theme, but I can’t seem to find the child theme for installation. When I click on the zip file (not the installable wordpress file), the whole zip file gets uploaded, but I want to use the child theme to make sure my personal changes are not erased with every update. Please tell me where to find it. thanks.
I am truly very surprised that, it seems, there is no child theme included with the downloadable files, or it is there but not identified as a child theme. Why is that when all other themes I have purchased, and I have purchased many, very clearly identify the child theme? I can’t start work without the child theme.

1) I’m not sure what you mean sorry?
2) The theme does not have push notification features, this is something that would be handled by a plugin.
3) The theme does not have this feature. Groups are part of the BuddyPress plugin and forums are part of the bbPress, again this is something handled by a plugin.
4) WPML is using multiple languages at once. If you just want to translate the theme text into your language you can do this from the theme’s translation file easily using PoEdit or the Loco Translate plugin.

I understand the foundational concepts of Wordpress, Themes and Plugins, having used those 3 components over the years (off and on, lol). The heirarchy (top to bottom, or last to first installed) is:
Plugins, Theme (may included plugins), Wordpress
However, I’m new to BuddyPress, BuddyPress Themes and Plugins (including bbPress) and have no clue as to best practices, what works with what (or not), the heirarchy of installation of components, etc.
I am in the process of creating a WP site (at VMAQ.org) using the PenNews Theme (PenciDesigns.com) and want to incorporate the BuddyPress features/functions for Members, Groups and Forums, as seen on the BuddyPress Theme “Socialize” (socialize.ghostpool.com).
I also came across some BuddyPress plugins – BuddyBoss Wall, BuddyBoss Media and BuddyBoss Member Types – that seems promising (BuddyBoss.com).
I like the WP Theme “PenNews” and would like to keep using it if possible. If not, then would want to find a BuddyPress theme similar to it, especially for the Top Header Primary Menu (red) and Top Secondary Menu (black), as seen at VMAQ.org. I would duplicate the red Menu as is and for the black Menu add the features of Groups, Members, Forums, etc.
Due to inexperience and knowledge of all things BuddyPress, how can I accomplish my goal(s) and what pieces do I need to do it? I don’t mind having to purchase a theme/plugin at reasonable prices, but I definitely cannot afford custom programming, lol.
Any and all suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated!

Are you basically asking if Socialize can be made to look like you’re existing theme? If so, it’s possible to achieve something similar out of the box, but if you want it looking exactly the same you’ll need to apply your own CSS customizations or hire someone to do this for you. All plugins seen in the demo are free to use.
