I currently have the theme activated on my site. Inside the Ark dashboard, as well as under the updates tab, it says updated to the newest version however in the right hand corner there is an orange box that says Ark version 1.0.0 Just curious if that is what is supposed to be displayed since the newest version is 1.44.0

You can always view the real version number at “Appearance > Themes > Ark > Theme Details”. Perhaps you can’t see it in that specific orange box because you use a child theme with it’s own version number.

It is indeed fully compatible with WPML, but their PageBuilder translation tool is too simple to be integrated in the Ark. So you need to copy the language pages.

First please make sure you have the correct ZIP file. If you download the theme files from ThemeForest you first need to unzip them and then you find another ZIP file called “something-upload-this.zip” that you can use to upload.
If that won’t work it is because your server has a php file upload size limit, in which case you need to contact your hosting to change this for you or change it yourself if you have server admin access.
Alternatively, upload the files via FTP/SSH.

Thank you, seems like your internet router (ASUS RT-AC86U) has a built-in blacklist of sorts (which is why “only” you can see the warning). The ASUS blacklist is supplied by Trend Micro company and the site somehow ended up on it. If you could press the “Report to Trend Micro” button and tell them the site is safe that would help. We will also try to contact them ourselves, thank you for your help.

Hi, I am not asking for help, I want to report a bug that I know has been mentioned before by users. Today I updated my theme to the last version but the problem persists. It is about the Custom Code logic not working. It keeps hiding the third input field where the variable should be selected to make it all work. How long will it take before this gets fixed? With this bug the whole feature is hardly useful.

This CSS is coming from the main fallback stylesheet in the theme. It is there to push the whole website 32px lower to make room for the top WordPress Admin Bar which shows up only when you are logged in (and have the admin bar enabled in your user profile). It is a pretty standard thing to have. So I can’t imagine a scenario where this could be an issue, so if you really have some kind of an issue with this, I would imagine it is very specific so please send your question via a ticket http://arktheme.com/open-ticket/ and include your wp-login. Describe where and when the issue happens, how it looks like, etc. We will then be able to take a closer look and advise you how to solve it.

Unfortunately I still can’t find it. Is it in the Header options? I’m using the default classic – vertical left.
I have been able to change the picture itself by changing the featured picture of the page but not the settings to make the image it full screen and to remove the color overlay.
I feel quite stupid but can you be a bit more specific?

Then check “influence the URL by PHP code” and assign the right url by “get_permalink” function

Hello,
I saw some comments here about the issue between GoDaddy hosting with this theme. I’m curious, would it be okay if I use HostGator shared hosting?

Usually cheap hosting = bad hosting, this is same with HostGator and o ther $3-$5 hosting providers. So yes, HostGator is better than GoDaddy, but overall you will be facing poor support, hosting outtages, infunctional FTP and really weird problems with WP themes, if you go with these. I would recommend Kinsta or WP Engine.
However, it is obvious that if you are making a small website for local business, it would not make business sense to pay $30 per month for hosting. So if you absolutely need to do it cheapely, I would recommend at least SiteGround.
