1) can i insert custom icons in the Job Categories?? and how?? what are the dimensions?
2) how can i work with woocommerce? is it possible to connect jobs with woocommerce? the visitor can “buy” a work?

ad1. Yes you can, edit a job category in admin panel, you need to provide full URL for the icon there in edit screen in option “Custom image icon for category”
ad2. No, there’s no such possibility, WooCommerce is used to sell job/resume packages so options to allow users upload their jobs or resumes

you can use WooCommerce for regular shop like in any other theme, but in terms of WP Job Manager, it’s only used for this add-on https://wpjobmanager.com/add-ons/wc-paid-listings/
Theme won’t update automatically even though all credentials are correct.

unfortunately it’s out of our control, theme updates are provided by Envato Market plugin that is developed by Envato, if it doesn’t work you’d need to update theme manually

I’m not aware of any plugin that would add ratings for jobs, it would require some custom solution (you could use some rating plugin but it would be needed to do some additional coding to have that)

Hi. Could you help me? How can I make Category Boxes in Job Category Grid be unclickable? Job Category grid on a Main page looks really nice. I want it to be on my website. But I don’t wan’t let users when they click on boxes be redirected to Jobs list page. If there is an opportunity to leave users on the same page where Job Category Grid is placed when they try to click on it?

sure you want to do it? Those boxes are asking to be clicked, I think a lot of users might be frustrated or confused if they don’t. You can try to add to CSS

Thank you for your comment. I need it now unless we have enough job postings to show. If I follow your advice and add to my CSS: “a.category-small-box { pointer-events: none;}” – there are no pointer events at all. That’s ok, but maybe there is a chance to let the pointer event which changes the color of boxes when we hover on it, but boxes remain unclickable (with no links)?

have you started on fresh WordPress installation? The only explanation I have is that if you already had a “Home” page on your site, the Setup Wizard didn’t create the same titled page from demo content because it already exist

I would like to get this template, but then I want some simple modifications, example has a function of the numbers on the page home #3, and how I delete or hide those pages, I wanted the same thing on page home #1, modification I have some questions. honestly I have hard time understanding your message. Paid jobs are optional, you don’t have to use that. Homepage examples are just examples of what you can build, it’s up to you which elements you will use.
We don’t offer custom modifications. WorkScout is theme for WP Job Manager plugin, what you see on demo uses the Core Add-on bundle which is extra paid, it’s explained in item description.

WorkScout is a theme for WP Job Manager, free WPJM has only option to submit and browse jobs, for resumes, paid listing, applications etc you need premium add-ons. They are paid each year if you want to keep access to updates.

ad1. You will have just jobs related pages and job dashboard, resumes, applications etc will just display a shortcodes that will work after adding the plugins
ad2. We have included Setup Wizard that will automatically do that for you, but in we can help if you’ll have any problems

Hi, we are using your theme, and we need to sync our job board to Bullhorn CRM so that we can add jobs from Bullhorn via REST API. The question is which file generates the lat and long for the Radius based search and at what point in the workflow is this script run? We need to know because when we are adding jobs via REST API the script that generates the Geo location and writes it into the database doesn’t run and the feature does not work. Thank you

Hi there, I’ve got a few pre sale question before buy it : I’m a temporary job agency so I need to know if it’s possible to delete the companies/employer option. I want to manage from the back office and post job by myself. Also, we are a team managing the website so I would like that different users could manage differente job application. to be clear, when someon I’ve applied to a job the user receive and email but not all users, only the only one assigned. you can manage everything from wp-admin and disable the frontend job submissions. For the applications, you would have to create an account for each user, and assign the jobs to those users (change ownership of the job), that way those users would see the applications coming for ‘their’ jobs.
