Spectacular theme! Installed it on a client’s webstore that has 70 products, made the website look 100 times better right away. Thanks for your brilliant design work, really appreciate it.
I have a few questions and concerns:
1. I’ve set the AJAX add to cart toggled on. And the Open Cart Sidebar on add to cart, is also toggled on. When I’ve clicked on a product Quick View and the modal appears, then I click add to cart, the sidebar cart pops out, the success message appears, but the modal stays open blocking the sidebar and message content. It feels clunky and not good for UX. When you update the theme can you set the quick view modal to close once the add to cart button has been submitted? I think that would make much more sense from a UX perspective.
2. I’m making changes to the theme using the child theme. I’m taking design elements from the product v6 template and adding them to the product v4 template, while removing certain elements from the v4 template. I’ve had to dig into several files, even the scripts.js and scripts.min.js files. I’ve made sure to document exactly where I’ve made all my changes, I’ve copied all the files over to my child theme. But I wanted to ask, which files can I copy to the child theme and have them be prioritized? If I copy over woocommerce.css or inc/woocommerce/template-product.php or js/scripts.js and js/scripts.min.js will these files be prioritized from the child theme? I’ve had very mixed results from different themes when trying to modify functions and code in the parent theme.

Thank you very much for your feedback and suggestions.
1. Yes, we already add this idea to the update schedule of the theme. We will add a new option for it in the next update.
2. WordPress only allows the child theme to customize some templates from the parent theme. In this Konte theme, you can copy following files to the child theme:
- default template files: https://wphierarchy.com/
- files in “template-parts” folder.
- files in “woocommerce” folder: actually it is the template folder of WooCommerce plugin.
Template files in these folders will be loaded automatically instead of files in the parent theme. Other files won’t. Therefore script files can’t be edit like that. You should create your own script file and load it in the file “funcitons.php” of your child theme.

I’ve a few questions:
1: On single product page, the product images can either have bullet points or product thumbnails. Can we have product thumbnails for this single product layout: (https://konte.uix.store/product/wyoming-backpack/)
2: Can we have extended description for any product layout or only for this one (https://konte.uix.store/product/slim-trapered-rip-jeans/?product_layout=v4)
3: Can we have reviews always visible? Currently I see that reviews show when we click a link or tab. I want to show it below product’s extended description.
4: Do you have plan for one-product homepage layout?

Regarding your questions.
1. Unfortunately, product layouts are fixed. You can’t change the product gallery thumbnails format. But it is a good idea to add options for them. We will try to add more options to control these thumbnails in the future update.
2. The extended description is supported on product layout v4 only.
3. At this moment, this theme doesn’t have any product layout that displays reviews below the product description.
4. Our designer is working on new homepage layouts for this theme. We will release a new major update with new homepage layouts. But unfortunately, we can’t add a layout for one-product homepage in this update. We will add this idea to our update schedule.

Thanks for your reply. Is it possible to achieve first 3 requirements using a few lines of WordPress filters and hooks or will it require more deeper modification.
We’re sorry but it requires more deeper modifications. Besides using PHP, it requires you to modify the javascript code too.
Can I use this theme with the main focus on blogging than e-commerce? By that, I would Like to know if I can customise the home page to display blog rather than products? You say more layouts are coming soon, what do you mean by that? Will I be able to get updates forever or just 6 months?

Yes, you can use this theme to create blog websites. You can set the blog as your homepage. At this moment, this theme supports some blog layouts that you can view on the demo.
In the next major update, we will add more homepage layouts but they are all for ecommerce.
Once you purchase this theme, you can get update forever and 6 month of support. Of course, you can extend support anytime when you need.

yes, that I have see. The variation swarches plugin that you use is very basic, my question is: the theme is compatible with the pluggin WPAddons Variation Swatch
You can use other plugins for swatches. It will work with this theme. But the style of swatches will follow that plugin, the theme will not add additional style to it.

- Yes, you can edit slider’s social icons in “Global Layers” tab when editing the slider.
- The slider has option to enable auto mode which moves carousels automatically.
